Please read this: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Prophet_recovery it is a collection of all the advice the experts of this forum can give and works!
Then, I think you will need to HardSPL your device. Read this for advice on what to do: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547
it's not the fisrt time i flash my propret, ok thanks for your reply, i check it out
yep, you're right, for the new ROM, i've to make Hard SPL before
Thank you
Ok, sorry for asking a question which may have been answered before, but I really can't find an answer to my issue.
So, the issue. I'm trying to install the Swedish version of the CleanBlack rom.
I think I've done whats needed. HardSPL 1.22, CID unlocked, Radio 1.65.24.36. Have I missed anything?
Have flashed my Xperia too many times to count, which was easy as hell, but I can't for the love of (insert favoured god here) figure out what it is I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for your time.

P.S. Love this forum!!!
Hi, maddude88
Just read your request, I think you did everything you could do just one question did you try another rom on this forum maybe the download is corrupted maybe that is the problem otherwise you can try to flash directly from the bootloader by pressing camera and the on/off button on top of your device at the same time.
If that also did not give you a solution try the hardspl/cidunlock again if all of this options failed then the only thing I can think about is that you could have some bad blocks and then you have to search for mtty to remove the bad blocks.
Ok, hoping this will help you
Oh jeez, this is embarrasing.
You nailed it with the bad rom, had tried the insomnia rom a couple of times before the CID but after it just must have slipped my mind. Now it works great and I have to tip my hat to you Rata! Thanks a bunch!
BTW, what would be best to do, keep this thread up or delete it for the purpose of keeping this forum nice and clean?
Once again, thanks rata, now my Touch Dual rules just as much as this forum!
I'm happy to set you straight - glad it's working now and welcome in the world of the niki.
About this thread, I've never been dumped before
So I created these instructional videos to help newbies out with loading ROMs etc.
TO ADVANCED USERS: I know that these procedures are not new but the instructional videos have seemed to help a lot of newbies and I think it would benefit anyone weary of attempting these procedures.
Please don't post how this is old news, I am well aware. These are just for newbies to help them get started. It also should help eliminate newbies asking the same questions over and over as most are answered right under the videos, and I'm sure you'll appreciate that
MODERATOR: Please sticky or add to any tutorial threads for the sake of the newbies.
Hope this helps some people out! Enjoy!
If anyone wants me to do any other videos in particular please let me know.
How To Load HardSPL, Radios, and a Custom ROM -
http://theunlockr.com/2009/09/13/how-to-load-a-custom-rom-onto-your-windows-mobile-phone/
Good morning,
I do understand and appreciate your post... But I do have a question:
Apart form the HardSPL flashing process, why don't they/you suggest flashing both ROM and Radio via SD Card?
It is faster, safer and cleaner...
Wouldn't you agree?
Kudos to you, anyway. It was a good idea to post this video.
Cheers.

I'm certain this question has been posted a few thousand times. But I just got an HD2 again. I've been away from this scene for about 10 months. I was here for the beginning of the SD card integration Android when things didn't work well. I'm back with a HD2 I got from a friend. It has windows mobile 6.5. And I don't even know where to began to get Android on this phone. Here's the info that may help me get pointed in the right direction.
OS version 5.2.21913
Manila version 2.5.201814240
Rom version 3.14.531.1
Radio version 2.15.50.14
That's what's on the phone currently. I tried follow a few threads but they all turned out to be a dead end until I change my SPL version. If anyone can at least get me on the right track so I can at least make some progress that would be great.

So why did you ask again and not read the answers that was given before?
There is plenty of answers, stickies, guides for you to read, no need to create new topic. You will get your info more efficiently by looking for it

Actually I did read a lot of information but I got confused on what I needed to do. But I figured it out on my own. Thanks for replying anyway.

Can people please stop just saying "the answer is out there", and actually post links to help future readers? Posts like that are as redundant as a duplicate thread. If you don't have anything constructive to say, please don't say anything.

I agree with you on that.
This is what I did to fix my issue so if someone else had the same problem they can hopefully find the right answers.
My issues was having SPL 2.10.000 on my phone.
I needed to install 2.08.000.
All i needed was to download HSPL3 and then follow the apps prompts and when the options for 2.08.000 SPL or 2.08.000 came up.
I chose the 2.08.000 SPL and it changed my SPL to 2.08.000.
That allowed me to follow DFT tutorial for installing android.
Otherwise it wouldn't allow me to progress forward with my old SPL 2.10.000
Here's the links I followed.
For HARDSPL info:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
For DFT Android info:

or

Here's a Youtube video showing you the steps to install DFT's android after you have the correct SPL insalled.

Because its easier to point out to look for it then it is to actually do teh work for them and find it.
It will be better for the OP's in the long run if they learn to look and find the information they want/need instead of posting questions and relying on others. As teh OP stated he foudn what he was looking for and probably learned something in process of doing so.
The best way to learn all the processes is to do research and not to simply create a topic every time they want info.

It still does not help the forum in the slightest. If you have nothing constructive to say then you really shouldn't say anything.
Think about this... If it hadn't been for my comment about unhelpful responses, the OP may never have posted his findings, so you could at least think about encouraging them to do that in the future.
Now, if someone finds this thread through a search they'll find some solid information, not just someone saying "search the forum".
I think we want the same thing here - an easy to use forum where people can find answers easily
For NAND Android you need 2.08.HSPL not 2.08.0000
Run HSPL3 and select 2.08.HSPL
Make sure that the RADIO on the phone is 2.08.50.xx or any .50 above.
With regard to your friend's phone, if they want to do the same, then they have to flash the phone with an 2.08 or 2.10 ROM, as this will bring the SPL down to where HSPL can be run. HSPL doesn't work with SPL 3.03 (which comes with the 3.14 ROM).
First, I hope this is the correct forum for this request. If it isn't please tell me where to move it to or please move it and tell me where you moved it to so I can keep up with it. I searched the forums but could not find a link. Thanks. Does anyone have a link to a site where I can download WM6 for my AT&T 8525? I love my phone but didn't know that there were places that would help you upgrade it. I didn't even know the WM6 was being offered. I thought it was just for the new phones. Everywhere I look for a download it is no longer available. Anyway if someone can help me I sure would appreciate it.Oh and any instructions on how to do it would also be appreciated. All this talk about boot loader and manager this has me all confused and no I am not blonde just old and worn out. Reply to me at Coinhunter at charter.net please or on here is ok to. I just don't know how often I will get to come to this website.
