If you really concern about the power consumption,
1. charge your prophet with original charger,
2. switch to other battery to check if it drains the same.
3. try to use your prophet WITHOUT additional software after flash ( Korand's 3.1 will be nice ),
In my personal experience, that may cause by software power consumption + the aging battery.
i use win 5 Jesterzs Aku2.20 with 3.08IPL and 2.20SPL
before setup win6 . have it no problem for Battery Using?
or i use win 5 PRO_DT_WWE_220734_2207114_026121_Ship before setup win 6?

As a matter of fact,
I need time to read you English and may be I am too stupid
that I need long time to get through your meaning within.
I may try to answer now, don't be mad to my answers boy!
1. I had gone through (flashed) all WWE and CHT/S WM6 and WM6.1 ROMs in this forum,
rarely find battery problems with versions of them, ( 99% of the are quite acceptable),
2. Before setting up WM6 or WM6.1, better have your battery fully charged,
or not less than 50% of it,
3. Better flash the NVID or PVtemp before your first upgrade to WM6,
.................................
Did I hit yours?
Hope so,
please read more grandson.

Hi everybody,
I'm searching for a WM 6 ROM with a very low battery consumption. Nowadays, My S200 has SpeedKing ROM, but I think it drains a lot of battery (I have to recharge it every day).
Does anyone knows a stable-low consumption ROM?
One more thing... It is possible to upgrade the ROM using Windows Vista or Ubuntu Linux? I already don't have XP in any of my computers
Thanks!

Thank you very much
i'd suggest micro v3.3 as wm6 by inteks(or smt like that ) and my bubbles 2 as wm6.1 by varanusvincent
I have flashed below ROM
Manilla 2D PV edition by hoangan123 (+ 4mb pp version[26mb ram+m2d])
Prophet ROM diamond pro v1.2 CE OS 5.2.19971 (Build 19971.1.2.6 H.AN)

I think it give a good battery life with this rom.
3 Hours with 1 percent reduce when in standby mode.

I want to use the most efficient ROM when it comes to power consumption. i am not sure if the newer kernel is more efficient or if the extra things added to the OS decrease the lifespan? can people tell me of their experiences here?

I used use wm6.1 and wm6.5, but now i change back to 6.5 coz its power consuption. Everytime i full of the power it can only continue lest then one day, almost 14 hours. Maybe i choose a bad rom version.
But just for you reference. At least u can know that 6.5 need much more power coz it is not design for herme.

i think you mean you have changed back to 6.1?
i have had similar results with power usage, i find 6.1 is much better, and lasts a lot longer.

BetterBatteryStats, Wakelock Detector, and/or GSAM Battery Monitor is the place to start... And by the way, CM9 is Android 4.0.x
This questions is kind of like asking "I get terrible gas mileage when I run premium fuel in my car, but good mpg when I run regular unleaded, why is that?"... The answer may be as simple as your "driving faster and farther"... What I am saying is a little more information is needed, because you are not giving enough in your original post.

Please read my last post and try some of those tools to see what's either keeping the phone awake or is draining the battery. There is nothing in the core operating system of any Android version that is going to drain the battery

Has anyone found a way to deal with the Android OS and Android system battery drain? I've already tried clearing my cache I've tried 2 or 3 different Roms as well. I hardly get 3 hours sot. Phone lasts about 6-10 hrs depending on usage. Before upgrading to nougat I used to get about 5 hours of sot and phone used to last for about 1 day and a few hours. Usually both Android and os consume 10-15% more than the screen . Please help, it will be much appreciated. Thank you.
I'm running Android 7.1.1 dev preview
With stock rim
I'm having the same issue, stock running dev 7.1.1

I would rather not. The phone is running good other than battery drain. We'll see if there's an update soon that will help.

1. It's calculated (okay, more guessed than calculated) differently like on MM. They used to add everything they couldn't determine who used all the power to the screen, now they add it to Android System.
2. Also BT drains more battery, probably because it dozes less.
3. Switch to 7.1 DP1, it's better than 7.0 Nougat.

Used less screen than usual, normally it's two days. It's in airplane mode during the night, it's my alarm clock, and I wouldn't want a live antenna by my head the whole night.
The only thing that significantly impacted anything for me was switching location to battery saving mode.

Screen on time is since "last full charge",
Battery is 63% cause i charged it to 70% before taking screenshot.:good:

How do you get that SoC. The best I can achieve is 6 or 7 hours without gaming that much ?!

What apps you're using and screen brightness are the biggest two factors. Not all apps are made equal and some basic apps like music streaming services will chew RAM and battery. Imo, it's better to just use your phone as you wish and carry a charger with you.
Usually 10-12 hour SOTs mean sticking to battery-friendly apps, dim screen, tinkering with wakelocks/doze and keeping tabs on whether you're unnecessarily using 4G. Other times you just get a good stint through unintentionally doing the above.
Great explanation, thank you. With normal use I get around 6hous, which is great I get through the day with one charge.
He should show the battery graph
Pixel experience pie caf edition is running very smoothly with great battery life(9hours of sot)
