Pri 2.04_003 - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

Anyone have PRI 2.04_003? I've done a search on all of the major forums, and havent found it. GC, DCD? It lloks like the new Vogue/Touch ROM includes it.

I have already posted in the Sprint GPS Fix thread that I will be updating it. Please be patient.

found it. I let the customizations run on the stock ROM, and it installed it. I'll just flash back to clean now, and I should be good to go. THanks for the help.

Request for extracted gps drivers for non Verizon users!

I have been silly enough to mod everyones phones at work. Every week someone new comes in with a Mogul. Now everyone I have flashed to the new leaked rom is super pissed LOL because of the insane bugs.
If someone would be kind enough to help me out here I would be forever in debt. I have the radio flash on hand. I just need to extract those drivers some how for the gps and get them on the 2.17 rom or a nice DCD version of that rom. I am in disbeliefe that nobody has done this yet.
Please please help me out here!
just use DCD's 2.0.0 ROM

DCD has his super extra clean roms for the new 3.16 os for most (if not all) carriers. Just use his. Im guessing you need the sprint version because of the mogul
The GPS driver can not be installed in the < 3.x roms, you need the new radio which is incompatible with those roms.

Stock ROM Dumping

Ok, so I finally received my new Titan from USCC (Us Cellular). I figured it would be a while before getting it, but surprisingly, It was here 2 days after they advised me it would be sent.
Question is this: How can I make a functional ROM dump (copy) of it's ROMS?
I know that once flashed to a GPS ROM, it is very risky to flash back to a non-GPS ROM; however, I've read several threads on PPCGEEKS on how to successfully accomplish this. My new phone isn't even activated yet, so, If anyone can guide me through a method of successfully making a functional copy of this stock ROM, and RADIO, It might be very helpful to UL this to a wizard like DCD so that he can work his magic and provide yet another useful upload for all of those wishing to re-flash to stock!
I'm DEFINITELY going to flash DCD's latest ROM to my new phone, but I was hoping that someone could help me copy/create a functional ROM dump prior to me altering it!
Any advise?
BTW, thanks, DCD, for working on this USCC related stuff.

Recovering from car accident and dead phone... a little guidance please

Ok... I was in a nasty car accident on friday. One of the things that got damaged in the crash was my phone. Luckily, I had the insurance and just got the new phone.
I was running DCD 3.x before with a GPS compatible ROM and it was working GREAT!
I'm a little confused by the whole RevA and Verizon GPS thing. I've been reading all sorts of things.
My question is... do I need to do anything special to the phone BEFORE I flash the latest and great Radio and DCD ROM? I read somewhere I need to flash back to a previous Verizon ROM before flashing to DCD or the GPS will get screwed up. True?
The two important things I want are GPS and tethering. Must have those. =)
Thanks in advance... we now, return to our regularly scheduled pain killers.
PS - My phone has the following from factory:
ROM - 2.09.605.8
Radio - 1.30.60
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=33857
read that, then reread it... then follow the steps
Thanks!... that much I knew. What I am unsure about is the new M1 update on Verizon and the GPS issues I'm reading about.
How do I tell if this new phone has the M1 update already?

Your phone has the original stock radio and ROM on it.... It doesn't have MR1 on it.....
Thanks! I think I may wait a few days tho... painkillers and phone upgrades don't mix.

Confused: do I want to flash the radio on a fuze or not?

It seems like if you choose to flash the radio that you may have better/worse performance than you currently have. I am happy with my radio performance but want to flash some of these fun roms.
If I choose to flash a rom how do you choose not to install the radio?
I keep searching but my search terms are short and it is confusing google.
I flashed my rom but not my radio. My buddy here also did the same.

I could have told him that it was possible. What he want's to know is how. I remember seeing it somewhere in the WIKI or FAQ's but don't remember exactly where. I would post the link if I did. Sorry.
Thanks, Ill do some more searching. I think I recall having to remove a portion of the RUU or something. Ill go check it out.
Most of the ROMs I've seen do not include a radio (atleast the 2 I've used).
If you know your current radio version, you can always flash the new ROM, then flash your radio. There's a thread here that has all of the available radios you can download.
I have tried to do some searching for you, but really can't remember where I had read this. I do remember, that some ROM's have Radio's included, Some do not, Some have many apps included, Some are very light with very basic apps included. When you read up on a specific ROM for your device, the details of what is included is usually specified.
I think it's safe to say that over 99% of cooked ROMs are without radios. Every time you flash a radio ROM, it's an extra risk you're taking, and chefs always want to mitigate such risks.
I just got done flashing my first rom to my Fuze. I am stoked. Thanks for the help. This was far less painful than flashing my g3 and g4 wizards.

Titan ROM Builders

I notice the only real ROM build here is RyanMogul's. Are there any others available anymore?

If you like a lite and fast ROM DCD still hosts his roms on his website. If you dig deep enough in the threads there are some pretty good roms. I've been using Reloaded 1.4.1 for probably over a year.
I can't seem to find the latest reloaded by searching. There are a lot of hits but I'm not sure which is the right one. If you have a link I'd greatly appreciate it.

I went to scott's website and it appears he pulled everthing titan off of it. I think I still have the kitchen and might be able to uo load it to the ftp tonight.
DCD still has all of his on his site:

Just to let you know, his ROMs are/were stripped down for speed (no frills).
Reloaded 1.4.2 ROM or Kitchen are beta. You want to use Reloaded 1.3.4. Found on the second page of this subforum. Titled Titan Reloaded 1.3.4..
