Flash went well. Had to *228 because I let customizations run. Installing GPS apps now.... Going to try VZNavigator as wel...

What do you mean?
The readme says "the ability to use vz navigator"...or something like that....
you probably still need to purchase the app....

Oh, Ok. I see. I agree. I cant find it anywhere on the VZW site. Verizon is just lame. Biggest regret I have now is dropping Sprint for Verizon.
Does this include Radio rom update? If not what radio is compatible?
LOL - They locked the hell out of the upgrade..... But, I knew that for a long time ago...... Still tho, there may be asomething we can actually use from this release.... Is the radio still 3.37.7

It does include a radio but it its version 3.37.75. I just upgraded then flashed the better radio over.
Looks like it is:
ROM: 3.57.605.1
Radio: 3.37.75

Ok, found VZnavigator. Have to download from the VZW start page. Installing now.
I'm giving it a try. It's going back tomorrow anyway due to a speaker volume issue.

Ok you need to activate it by dialing 611. No one is there, closed for the night. Great! Website is down so I cant make changes there. Verizon is just down right squared away! Thats customer service!
do you think this would also update the bootloader? should we relock it with the original one?
im switching to ntelos in a few days and was wondering is there any difference between the showcase and the facinate other than the name ...? can facinate roms be flashed on the showcase?

its essentially the same phone (i500) with some subtle differences
fascinate roms can be flashed onto it, but there needs to be build.prop, apn, and mms changes to make it totally functional
i port my roms to the showcase and mez personally as well

Nits you port to the c-spire (cell south) showcase. The ntelos is a different beast altogether.

thats true, but in theory same process would work...just no one bothered to send me the build.prop, apn and mms files from a ntelos rom, or point we to an odin
the few users from that carrier said they dont subscribe to mms and didnt care

i can send you all of those files...once i get the phone...but i think that would be selfish...considering im problaby the only one who would be benefitting...i think i can live without mms...as long as im not stuck with stock ...
but other than mms everything would work? data phone calls txts etc..?

I have similar problems. i had the Emily 1.1 working flawless and i did the update to 1.5 andbi lost my outgoing mms and sms...
That's odd. Mine is working fine and I'm on a different provider (Telus). I do have the inverted app kit installed though. Maybe that could be it?

When someone send me a picture it will just say downloading then say failure...I'm using the AT&T Note
Weird all my mms/sms work perfectly with Collective roms
Its once I switch roms from the Collective that my data won't work

All this started when i update Emily.. From 1.1 to 1.5.. Either something when bad there or just something snap in my sim card after that... But sure thing my mms and sms stop working right after the update.. My new sim card should be here Monday.. Or maybe tomorrow i hope
I can't yet post in the dev threads yet so maybe I can get some help with this problem here.
I have svoice installed but I can't seem to use it unless connected to Wifi. If I am just on regular cell data - 4g LTE then it gives me the network error message.
I am in Toronto, Canada if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated!

I am with Telus. I wonder which radio we should be using?
Have you had any problems with GPS?
Gps was not working at all.
Went back to Saurom 7.1 everything works apart from Svoice.
What rom are you having the issues with?

I have the problem with both OnlyOne and Team Perfection, but for team perfection I used another svoice because it wasn't supported in RC1.
I just tried installing blaze modem but that did not fix it.

There are a couple of modem threads.
I saw an ICS Telus modem, I may try that on my next flirt with OnlyOne. For now I'm staying with Saurom, or until someone can clarify our issues. I'm really just guessing its modem or radio related. I found too, that upper back panel of phone was getting really hot.

Out of curiosity, is your wifi connection with Rogers?
I have not seen anyone with Telus in either of those 2 rom threads , mostly Rogers accounts. Its beyond me!!
Edit: I have just pm'd a user on the OnlyOne thread that displays Telus as his provider. I will update if he responds.

I doubt wether kifac would move to Telus, he works for Rogers lol!!
As far as Svoice on Saurom is concerned, perhaps I misled you unwittingly by saying everything works on Saurom, should be "everything other than Svoice, I believe Svoice is an ICS only app." I have corected my post to reflect that.

yep this ROM is amazing, the stock ROM feels dated compared to it.
TrickDroid also has wifi calling and is 1.29. Has some nice themes and tweaks too.

Wait!! WiFi calling is in this ROM!? Where? I mean, I don't really need it, but it would be nice to have in those moments. I was using TrickDroid and WiFi calling was there, but I don't remember where I found it, and it was on by default.
I'm back with Revolution because TrickDroid always had a 4G symbol even though I wasn't on 4G.
But where's the WiFi calling? I can't seem to find it. Or is it an app I have to download as well?

But my Call Forwarding option is not grayed out in this ROM. So I forward my missed calls to my Google Voice thus Google Voice mail works. LoL!! Is the Call Forwarding option grayed out in this ROM?

when you flash the rom in aroma just pick the tmobile version and you should get wifi calling just flash the latest version TrickDroid 5.4 and you should be ok :beer:

Yea. I used TrickDroid before. I had WiFi calling on that. I went back to Renovate. I was wondering why I didn't have WiFi calling, but I was comparing Renovate to Revolution. (The people here were linking to Revolution).
But I know. I didn't use TrickDroid because it always said I was on 4G regardless if I was or not.
