i would like to downgrade my TYTN back to WM5 because the mobile is having several bugs since the upgrade to WM6 Pro.
i can't find anywhere the english version of the latest WM5 ROM for my mobile here or anywhere...
can anybody please help me find this ROM.

Hi guys,
I'am a newbie here, especially with ROM upgrades... Recently, I have just upgraded my O2 XDAII from WM2003 t0 WM 5.0. After a few days of using WM 5.0, It's mass software incompatibility cools me off and I'm deciding to downgrade back to the ROM which I'm originally used.
So guys, is anyone of you has the original WM2003 ROM image from O2 for XDAII? If you have, please kindly provide me a link, so that I could download it.
Other than that, is anyone of you also have the original WM2003SE 2.20 CHS ROM image from O2 for XDAII, as well? If you have, please also kindly provide me the link, as well.
However, original WM2003 & WM2003SE ROMs from non O2 is also acceptable... But I think I would prefer the one originally for O2.

well try it and find out if there is? That is the point of flashing roms to see if you personally find that the rom is better or worse. What one person finds great in a rom another thinks it is bad. Its all personal taste in the end. But you will never find out unless you try
yeh i suppose so. i'll give 6.1 a try though. is it easy enough to put it back to an earlier rom? total newb here as u might have guessed .

Hi, i'm using pdaviet sonblack wm6.1 and i wants to downgrade back to the original o2 atom wm5 rom. Because the wm6.1 rom keep hanging and it is not very gd...any pls help??
you can download the proper wm5 rom and run it, first of all it may not work, but run it again and it should then downgrade to wm5
if you search or look in wiki theres lots of places to get information to help if you get any problems

That is the shipped US ROM.
Is this a wm6.0 or wm6.1 rom? I can't currently try it bacause i am on spl 3.x and it would not work on my device (don't really feel like going back to 1.20 for now)

It is dated 28.06.07 so what do you think? Was WM6.1 available one year ago?

What the heck - I'll give it a try and report back.
A quick report: It loads WM 6 pro and radio 1.47, ROM 2.19.453.4 dated 06/28/07.
Enough programs don't run (Pocket 12c SE, SPB Menu) that I will not investigate any more.
Since HTC removed the WM 6.0 upgrade from their Web site last month, I am unable to locate it anywhere.
Can anyone offer a link to a download site for the OEM version of WM 6.0?
Alternately, please email me a copy, if possible.

For safety's sake, flash Hard SPL V7 1st. This will offer some protection so you won't end up with a brick.
After you install Hard SPL you are able to flash ANY Hermes rom on this (or any other) site. Just make sure its for the Hermes though.
