I'm not going to let this get out of hand, but I think that before people are allowed to become mods they need to know some of the "unspoken rules" that exist in this forum (for the reasons given earlier).

Most mods are well aware of the rules (spoken or unspoken) however I hope you do understand that once in a while something is not as clear as it seems at the time a mod takes action, also new mods need some time to adjust to the "job", a bit of patience and polite discussion goes a long way I'm hapy to see you're at least trying not to let this get out of hand.

Hello,
Do you know if the WWE ROM for the Raphael will allow use of 3G network in US?
Also, is it please possible to prepare a keyboard fix to allow use of the HTC WWE builds on local keyboard layout? Similar to the fix someone put together for Tilt with cooked ROMs.

LOL, you're asking a lot for a phone that has yet to be released. According to Expansys US the Touch Pro should be released on August 4th, Quad Band (which means it will work on 3G networks in US), and the keyboard fix you are talking about (compliments of Taurus Bulba) is a group of keymapping registry edits, which I don't know why you would even be asking about at this point since a non-HTC branded version of this is not going to be available in the US for a VERY long time.

No, you need all of the files. Manilla2d is dependent on the other programs contained in the cab (such as the htchome dll and htc album). The only thing you don't need is the registry setting as it is specific to the i760, but it won't hurt anything and can easily be overwritten.

DON'T TRY IT. I repeat, DONT TRY IT. You'll end up messing up your phone or making the radio completely useless.
I think we should get a new forum for CDMA Touch Pro. That will help find relative information faster and avoid clutter in the GSM Touch Pro Forums.

Not only is it a bad idea it will cause TONS of issues and will not work. I believe most of the CDMA Roms are all good for each of our vendor specific devices. You have to make sure you use the carrier specific unlocker but after that, you "should" be good to go.
It will always say (at least most times) in the rom thread what carrier it was developed and tested under and other compatible carriers as well.

Not correct. The same SPL unlocker may be applied to the same device. The Sprint, Telus, and Bell Touch Pros are all the same devices and may use the same unlocker and ROMs. The Verizon device is a different hardware model.

In addition to the ROM, some carrier specific settings may be incorporated into the ROM build or after flashing with a specific carrier CAB.

The devices are the Raphael 500 for Verizon and Raphael 800 for Sprint, Telus, and Bell.
It is best to describe the devices by model rather than confusing people with only a carrier one is familiar with.

I have enough sense to type ppcgeeks' url address in my web browser and search for roms. Last I checked this was xda-developers, I was hoping to find a good Alltel rom HERE.
I'm using Conflipper's latest Alltel rom from ppcgeeks, and it works great. But like all flashing junkies, I need my next fix. I was hoping I'd find something new over here. I wish DCD would ditch his Titan and get a Touch Pro. He made my Mogul an almost tolerable device. I can only imagine what he could do with a phone like the Touch Pro.

I don't have a "gimme" attitude. If I were demanding that someone from xda-developers make me an alltel rom, that would be a gimme attitude. I simply wanted to know if there were any available on the forum, and if so, WHERE.
Wasn't selfishly complaining about not being served either. Actually, I was bragging about how great DCD's roms are, and hoping out loud that he makes one for the TOUCH PRO.

I'm using Juicy's 4.7 ROM but you will not be able to find it on PPCGeeks because Microsoft shut him down!!!!
I think they said that he had something from there Win Mobile 7 in his ROM...... but don't quote me.
All I can say is that I was one of the lucky ones that got to download it before it was removed and like the comment was made earlier, I have at least 2 days of battery life and that with using the my phone on a regular!!! and pushing email.
It's great!!!!

Do you happen to know how that one is different from the current version? I like using touchflo and I've been paying attention to the 2.5 discussions that took place here because I find that version really useful. I would like to have something similar, not so much for the animations(I think that's why that version requires 3d accelerator), but for the shortcuts on the home tab that appear after you flick the watch. I also like the calendar tab. And I think those features could be somehow ported to the mega existing manilla because it seems only logical to me that they don't need aditional graphical processing power. What do you think?

2 Questions
Question regarding the SD card.
Can it be removed before installation and then re-added after complete so that it does not partition the SD card? Or will it still partition it after its inserted? Or will it just not allow a proper installation?
Can WP7 be added with Magldr 1.11 since in the screenshot it says you need at least Magldr 1.09 to install it?
You can just re-flash a Windows Mobile 6.5 Rom and everything will go back.

Understood about Live Services and syncing of calendar/contacts. But will it still sync with (my work) exchange server? That would help in making me decide to toss out WP6.5/Adnroid.
