i searched all forum, and tried all CAB s in my s200 , but i didnt work 4 GB Sandisk Class 2 SDHC. Anyone solve the proplem?
It doesn`t go a SDHC Card in the Neo or a Prophet. Buy a normal 4 GB Card. That`s OK. No patch is working.
Any senior member, who does the ROMs or drivers? Or Moderator say the about this topic? there is nt any hope about sdhc?

The hardware of the Prophet do not support SDHC, you can make any ROM with any Drivers SDHC will'nt work on Prophet.

First of all, this forum is awesome. big props to all. you guys rock. and i have read every thread of magneto and buz and i am pumped just to be in the same forum with you guys.
that being said, i know you have no real incentive to help a newbie.
So here is what i offer. If someone in LA will help me get my wifi card up and running.
A) I won't post any new threads for one month.
B) From an old movie i worked on, i have some authenitc photos of julia roberts naked (topless but still pretty damn sweat). I will post a link for this whole forum if my wifi card works.
C) ok - so maybe you don't want to see the photos
ok julia we know but your problem i dont think so
so we could help if you tell us what s your device or what your problem is
with wifi or something ....
yeah. Xda II. sandisk wifi card 000. It gets a signal when i reset it( sometimes 90%).
But the manual does not say what software to load on.
thanks for the inquiry

oh yes, and this .cab should be uploaded to your device first (with Activesync) and run it there!
hope this helps...
Good morning all...
i would know if prophet coul use SDHC memori 8Gb..
someone has tested it?
Thank you very much for reply
no way, prophet card reader is hardwer incompatible
Maybe can used??
because the dopod Magician(818 or 828)
now can up 2003se to wm6.1(mix)
and can use SDHC to 16G
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=504120
so.... someone help us to check the dopod Magician new ROM
MAYBE CAN FIND THE FIX TOOL
SDHC I hope professional people can make it for us
SDHC is one of few problems with my Old prophet.
It would be great if a professionel hombre can do it for us.
Becaus the hardware of Magician is nearly the same with prophet.
I would like you to suggest to test this cab
There are SDHC1,SDHC2,SDHC3 and SDHC4
try it one by one.
If SDHC1 doesnt work, try the next one, etc.
I would like to suggest you to remove the older program first, before installing the new SDHC.cab
I don't have SDHC with me now. But I think SDHC4 will work.
So please try and give some feedback

That is the driver that the others use for support SDHC in their old device.
I agree with varanusvincent, it is the software not the hardware that enables the support of the SDHC. Thanks for the drivers man, I really appreciate it. I also do not have an SDHC card but I am more than excited to try it next week. Please post you results. If we have an SDHC support for our Prophets it will extend their lives a little bit more
I dont believe in incompatibility
I can not believe in incompatibility, because HTC Magician which is older than prophet finally could.
Another matter is, in the files which varanusvincent prepaires, we have in 3rd driver for wizard which really near the same hardware with prophet.
Unfortunately, I do not have SDHC card to check, but i will report until end of this wee.
It Needs More
Unfotunately, it is not working.
When I compaired it with OMAP850 with SDHC support devices it needs two mor dll files which are as below:
fatfsd.dll
diskcache.dell
I could'nt find them anywhere on the net.
Just to keep the forum informed - this did not work on my Qtek S200
Mark
I also could't get any of the drivers working... hope there will soon be a working one
SDHC
Nope. It's not working with my prophet.
dopod 818pro.
G4
dont want your time. Even my laptop (1 1/2 year old) cardreader cant read SDHC. I need to buy another card reader.
Hi,im new to this forum and first i would like to apologize if i posted in a wrong place.
Please delete or move this thread to an appropriate place if needed.
Last night i managed to install HTC Desire Android 2.2 on my HD2 and it works perfect!
Unfortunately its working strictly from the SD card so its a bit sluggish.
Is there some way to install Android 2.2 on HD2 main memory and delete Windows Mobile for good?
Thank you!

As Chris said above, it's not possible yet. The devs are hard at work on this as we speak and hopefully it won't be long.
P.S. if you have any more questions on Android on the HD2, please post in the HD2 Android General forum
And welcome to xda

There's no need for that kind of language...it's not tolerated in this forum. While it may be frustrating seeing the same posts over and over, it would be a little more helpful if you were to help the OP and guide him to where he should be looking.
Thank you for answering this.
Im sure its pretty hard to redesign OS like Android to work on device that is not intended to run it.
The guys at XDA are doing a great job!
I apologize for opening another thread about Android.
Is there some news about WinMobile 7?
I heard that MS officially dropped support for HD2.
Will there be custom ROMs based on Win7 for HD2?

that came out of no where....
I have a class 10 32GB card in my phone and I do realize the GS II is leaps and bounds ahead of older devices like the G1 and the original MyTouch 3G... So I was wondering if there was still any reason for me to partition the SD card *I have a lot of dead space since I moved all my music collection that was on my phone to Google Music...*
If it's still worth doing what sizes should I set for the partition and the swapfile?
Do I need to run a certain rom to take advantage of this or will it work with all roms?
Or, should I not bother...
Also is it better to keep my apps on the internal memory of the phone or my own SD card? Which will give better overall performance?
Thanks.

And let me add to that, what if one has a 64GB card. Would partitioning increase speeds?
LOL. yes, also a good question ;-)
Can no one answer this?
I left my 64gb card as is. It's functioning quite well for me

Let me ask you this: Why was the swapfile necessary/useful on the G1 and other such devices?
Once you answer that question, compare the answer to your SGS2 and ask yourself if the answer still applies.
Then you'll have your answer to your original question.
Here, I'll save you some time. The SGS2 does not need a swapfile.

Thanks I think, I was hoping for more of an explanation though.
I saw a old thread similar to this but I wanted to post a new one because:
I have a 32gb class 10 San Disk sd card and it doesn't work with my phone. It doesn't readily read, i have to keep on reinserting it, and at times my phone asks to format it because its broken. I use a custom rom (razo droid latest version).
Which 32GB sd cards are reliable and definitely work with this phone? If people reply with one's that don't, I don't mind editing the first post with a list of SD cards to stay away from with this phone.
Nice development thread you got here. Is it too hard to go to the General section instead of development?
Try to ask it here
You will get more answers

Already Done Bro
I'm terribly sorry for making such a stupid mistake. Really I am, I know I'm a noob, and unfortunately too many people like me are here, sorry.
Going back to the post, from first hand experience should
san disk class 10 32gb micro sd card work on a custom rom of s5830i?
So what he accidentally posted in the wrong section, everyone makes mistakes... what I find funny is the fact that the people who are making fun of him attempt to do so with what they undoubtedly believe are witty comments and comebacks, but half the time they don't make sense and end up failing completely
To those of you who simply reported it to get it moved to the general section you're clearly more mature than most, especially those who simply have to post cocky comments
Back to the question now, I think 32 gig is supported, I had a problem like yours with my brand new 8 gig SD card it turns out there was a problem with it,i got it exchanged and everything works perfectly now, I suggest getting it checked out or exchanged especially if your phone keeps saying to format it because its damaged or unable to read it
