so the viewpad 10 is supposed to allow dual boot for both android and windows 7. i know the processor is different on it, but anyone know if it'd be a possibility on the g pad?
windows 7 does not support ARM processors, it's rumored that windows 8 will, however
And the best the Viewpad 10 can do is Android 1.6 because there isn't an X86 version of anything better yet.
The only windows that support arm right now is WindowsCE Compact 7 and earlier, and Windows mobile phone 7
Can anyone tell me the best linux distribution for Android Dev other than ubuntu. I have asus laptop with intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz with 3gb of ram and 2tb hard drive. I using it to make device tress and kernels, Install ubuntu 64bit and having trouble with freezes(got chromeos, windows 7, mac osx, android x86 4.0 and 4.3 installed also). Can someone give me some lightweight distros that also have capibility with compiling android?
anyone?
I want to ask that why the remix os doesnt support the tablet or smartphone because i think it can bring the android to the pc and ultratablet so why cant it bring itself to the android smartphone or tablet?
If you mean "why can't remix be made fpr arm devices?"
Then it has as RemixOS started as a arm ROM, and there are version for there own hardware (although some are stuck on 1.0); their partners and some nexus devices.
As arm is different to x86 chips remix would need to be built specifically for each arm device; whereas 1 ROM (kernel&modules) can work on many x86 chips/devices.
Looking for an Intel Braswell based Remix OS or Android x86 ISO ?
There numerous articles starting back in 2014, about Intel releasing a Braswell base Android build, but hell if I can find it.

Hello Community,
iam using atm a OP6 with stock OS and a OP3T with Lineage OS. Right now i got 2 old phones from my family (an old Windows Phone and a Gigaset phone) and i want to experiment with them. I read thats there is an Ubuntu Touch Version out and OS distributions like Plasma OS or Tizen OS sound like they are worth testing too. All in all, my question is: What OS do you guys use for your phones at the moment ?
