Thank you in advance.
Hi,
I think so. SuperWaba runs on my MDA (Pocket PC from HTC).

Quest
Can someone tell me how you actually use
superwaba on your XDA?
I have successfully installed the version 3.5
but how do I run an application associated
with superwaba? Sorry I sounds dumb. I
just got my O2xda and am trying to download
a java vm so that I can go into the website that
uses java etc. I know emertec Joede got a java
vm for pocket pc2002 which do not have trial and
I am not sure if I would get refund if their java vm
do not fit into the website that I am trying to go into.
Appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.
:?
Hi,
I think you should read SuperWaba.pdf in the doc-directory of the SupreWaba installation on your desktop-PC.
Franz
Hi all,
have a look at

I still find it hard to understand and use superwaba on
my o2 xda.(I am new in java etc...)
Anyway I got a Joede VM on my O2 xda now,
thanks to your forum and the sharing of problems
and fixes etc.
And nowadays you can even get Sun Java FX on Windows Mobile
http://www.sun.com/software/javafx/mobile/index.jsp
JavaFX isn't exactly Java (use JVM only) and it needs 64 MB of RAM
JavaFX is indeed different from the "Java" we know before but it's something built above the original Java that *enhances* the old Java platform.
On Windows Mobile, the link NoonSki provided can lead you to a cab file that you can try on you WM phones with J2ME + JavaFX Mobile.
I tried and it works pretty well on my Touch Pro 2 running OperaMini, Snaptu...
Have a try
PhoneMe
Well, for Windows Mobile 2003 PhoneMe worked great for me. I cannot post links but you can google it (use "phoneme davy" in Google).
Fully open source and free implementation of JavaME (misses 3D, though). A bit difficult to install, but works for normal apps. Should also work on Pocket PC 2002 and WinMo 5+.
Anyone know if theres any touch pro emulators around?
Mostly for touchflow 3d theme design work.
"touch pro emulators"?
So you can test theme designs out before committing them to a phone.
Or a Virtual machine running a touch pro environment.
there is a WM emulator in microsoft development tools
as for "touch pro" (you probably mean the TF3D?), I suspect you won't find anything outside HTC's labs
actually HTC use a program called Mode9Studio, it's their own creation however, but it does *not* emulate the device.
and where can we find this tool ?
Is there a 3rd-party SW that can replace Office Mobile for non-touchscreen smartphones?
I am looking for a program that would fulfill at least the minimal requirements (such as basic editing, or for Excel, basic calculation) but still be compatible to MS Office on the desktop
Thanks in advance!

Definitely Documents To Go from Dataviz. http://www.dataviz.com/products/documentstogo/winmobile/index.html
Thanks for the prompt resonse !
Have DL the trial version but can't get it to work on the S740 (except for Excel which passes). Apparently, they support the S710 only
Anything else?
I tried on S740 and it worked well.. but the weird thing is i cant seem to install it on the storage card.
That's interesting; how did you do it? Above all, how do you handle the split screen in keyboard mode?
Which version did you use?
The version i used was 3.0010.
What do you mean by splitscreen in keyboard mode ?
When I go to keyboard mode, I get a screen that is split in two

I don't see that.. its working perfectly on my device.
May be there is a difference because my phone is the German language version

With Office Mobile (Word, Excel), you can create new docs, edit...
On pc, create empty word document, copy it to device and open with Word Mobile. Then right soft-key and chose EDIT... If you are done, right soft-key, File-Save As... Write name of doc and save. Thats all.
I know all that, korenisko; and that's not the issue.
The problem is that the functionality of Office Mobile for non-touchscreens is laughable; the most rudimentary functions, such as cut & paste are not possible.
If you want to use the device in its full potential, a replacement of Office Mobile is called for

I think that you're not alone in this search... it sounds like the holy graal quest in windows mobile... as I've read this asking thing in many french forums.
as far as I know, it doesn't exist this software for windows mobile. And as it's not possible to use iphone or androïd's applications on winmo...
But you can try with "Voice Twister" of "Screaming Bee"...
Voice Twister is the first professional application that gives you the power to morph your voice on a Windows Mobile device.
Voice Twister is the first professional software that gives you the power to morph your voice on a Windows Mobile device.
The easy to use voice selection will have your friends and family laughing as your voice is converted to a Space Squirrel, or your kids are talking like a Giant at story time. Choose from the many preset voices, or you can use Tweak and Speak to change the pitch and add an effect, creating a unique voice of your own.
In addition to live voice changing, Voice Twister can play an existing audio file in the morphed voice, and save it to a new file. You can also record and save your live voice for play back later.
NOTE: Voice Twister is not designed to use during a phone call and cannot morph your voice within a phone call.
Here are some key features of "Voice Twister":
· Live morphing using Push-To-Talk (like a walkie-talkie) or if you have a headset, real-time morphing as you speak.
· Record your morphed voice to a wave file for later use.
· Morph and play an uncompressed wave file and optionally save it to a new file.

thanks
thanks for ur kindly information dude..
really this is problem when it comes to games and application on windows mobile....
the developers like gameloft etc. not make games for wm...
take android or iphone for such app.
I mean howmany good gui supported games for windows mobile?
even we cannot have such good games for our motion sensor supported...
What are you talking about? Gameloft makes a ton of games for Pocket PC. As does EA Mobile. The Java versions for feature phones will also work via a MIDP compliant Java VM like phoneME. They are mostly sold via your carrier's WAP store, though. I guess that is what you meant. And yeah, they are difficult to get if your carrier doesn't sell them and there are no trials available to see if they are worth purchasing. Though, I guess things can also be found via Google. I haven't really tried.
I have been looking for a BobClock 3d for windows mobile. I have found only one linked to the "droid Pro" cab for SP Mobile Shell, but it is from a Russian site and cannot seem to load it and get it working correctly. I see there are plenty of them for Android and I have it running on my Touch pro 2 when I boot it up into Android. I would like to have one for Windows mobile.......any ideas?

Clock posted in this thread, have a look (but looking for windows mobile application)
Thought I'de ask 1 last time
Thanks
I have not seen a stand alone clock app like the bob, but if you are using Sense 2.5 w/ CHT you can use THIS widget by Nordpolcamper
Yes, I found another also for CHT http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-theme...h-ex-theme-including-new-hexclock-widget.html looks pretty good, like your suggestion.
I might have to try CHT and see if I like it. I am currently running Mobile shell 3.5 with droid pro. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833941, I want to add a clock to my SPB setup.
