Hi,
I've managed to make a T-mobile Rom that has branding removed.
The myFaves Application is preserved. And i've included the S600 drivers.
Remember this is the stock T-mobile rom Debranded.
Why did i make a custom rom based on T-mobile's original rom?
Because i wanted to preserve the myFaves Application and also some of the settings t-mobile does.
Use at your own resposibility i opnly tested it on my own device (MDA Touch Plus).
Hope to have some feedback, because I'm new to making roms and just started to understand how to do centain things inside the rom.
Now a want to know how to install cabs that a not signed and include them in the rom. And how to include a Splash screen (or screens)
You will need HardSPL

I just flashed my MDA II to the new imate 1.72 Flash (had the tMob beta before). It took me a few trys but finally got it switched to the new imate 1.72 official release.
My question for all the guru's is this... I have been reading that some of the ext rom files from the tmob beta are better to use instead of the imate ext rom.
I have heard this about the camera cab(s) and also the midi cab.
I was hoping to get some feedback in this thread as to what they have found to be the best version to use and why. Also if they found any bugs.
I am trying to make up a new ext rom file that will contain all of the best versions from the latest release(s).
I will be adding the GPRS Monitor that was removed and if I can get some input on which files should be removed and which should be left in.
I know some of the customization files are carrier specific and will leave those out if they can be left out.
Any help in putting together this list of ext rom files will be great!
Thanks
By the way, what do you, people, use as ROMs? In my T-mobile MDA I have XDA-DEVELOPERS special edition ROM 1.2 - powerful and really useful thing. Does anybody know when the WM2k3-based one is coming?
Forum user MikeyCollins has had his XDA2 reflashed by O2 with UK ROM version 1.66.
This is newer that any official user available O2 UK ROM, as the latest build on the UK site/for UK customers is 1.60.50
This new ROM, at very early inspection, features a ClearType tuner much like some IPAQ's have etc.
What he wants to know, and I do too, given that I would like to install it, is how do you 'reverse engineer', if at all, the ROM, so that he can copy it from his phone, to PC, so this can be tried out by others?
Can it be done? Do any of you clever chaps know how?

this one i would suppose does it
but if the file you end up with on your pc is really nbf i'm not sure
maybe somebody else knows

TIA
Hi there,
my TC 500 with G4 chip and original (T-Com) ROM needs some extras.
My cellphone provider o2 has its own Rom, now the question: I heard there are two things, ROM and Extended ROM. Is it possible to keep my ROM and take some of the .cab files from the Extended Rom from O2 and simply install them?
Both Roms are german Roms, so I don't need to unlock cid (country id), right?
Or is ROM and Extended ROM the same? Some confusion here...
The thing I need is a "homezone symbol" that o2 uses in its *-Rom.
A last question, is it even possible to use the o2 rom from their downloadsource o2online.de because it's the same language???
If possible could someone upload the official HTC WinMo 6.1 NLD (Dutch) ROM? I had it before but my serial number no longer validates and my own provider (Hi/KPN) doesn't provide.
I flashed some experimental ROMs to see assuming I still had the file but I don't and now I need to go back for daily use again...
Check my 4shared space. In the folder misc.
Thanks a bundle, I really needed it
Is this also for the 20-key niki100?
Sure as far as I know there aren't any differences in official roms for 20 and 16 keys Nikes
Hi
Following instruction from this site i changed the rom of my lolite
unfortunately my lolite operates worst than before(slow, stucks etc)
How can i go to my original rom?
This is the reason I've decided to wait with flashing any custom roms/patches until I can obtain a proper HTC rom to go back to if something fails... The only ROM I've seen as an official release is listed in the Iolite device page, but if I can remember right, it is a French version. If you've got this kind of problems, you might as well download any cooked ROM, but ready and tested and flash your phone with it - at least it should be more stable than the modified one you've got now? If you would find any original shipped ROM, though - post it here, please!

thanks a lot man
What navigation software in this rom? TomTom or PapaGo?
