Dear StarTrekies ,
I still couldn't find any hard cover crystal cases for my startrek but I managed to buy from www.brando.hk.com a few soft sillicon / rubber case though and once put on you can't close the flip phone fully like you used to , unless those of you insist then you got to cut off some inner piece of rubber for both top & bottom cover & may need to stick some slim type of double sided tape around the sides & back so that it will stay firm & nice when you use it , have to search some more in china for the elusive crystal case , meanwhile cheers & I am waiting for my black clip holder from USA coming soon to complement the sillicon cases , bye for now [email protected]

In addition to the Vaja, Krusell and Brando cases. Is there something else out there that is not a leather case
Do you guys have a link for some cases?
I suppose with the case you cannot use the cradle, right?
What about the camera and keyboard?
I am interested in something like this http://www.expansys.com.gr/product.asp?code=115109&asource=IMATE_III_EU
Nutshell cases
I have bought a Nutshell case for my QTEK 9090. 2.5 Years ago I have bought a Nutshell case for my old and trusted XDA. Great quality cases, worth every penny . http://www.tuff-as-nuts.com
DjBac, Í've bought the following case:
http://www.pdashop.nl/product/3774/3614
You can still use the camera and when having the case "unlocked" you can even access your keyboard.
Henkjan
That's the case I am interested in too and found at expansys!!!
But how can you have access to the cam?
Thanx a lot!!!

Hi Siliconaddict,
Refering to the Nutshell case for your QTEK 9090, is it hard to pull the unit out of the case? Will your thumbpad slides out while u're pulling it out of the case?
I'm very interested in getting 1 for my XDA IIs.

I got the Case today!!
Great quality.. One question though...
Do you have the plastic transparent film between the keyboard and the top of the phone or just on top of the phone?
I hope you understand what I mead!!
Well i am looking for a cese to but can't decide yet what i want exactly. I had a palm Tungsten T and bought a piel frama leather case for it. And it was great quality.
But i can't decide if i buy one for my MDAIII.
Maybe someone has a piel frama and an MDAIII and can tell me what he/she thinks about it.
greetz
case for PDA2k
I bought the Krussell Case from the Imate store out of Saudi Arabia.
I suggest the Multidapt product line, this way you can switch out the clips that go on you belt or your pocket.
Well i don't think that case would do for me. I am realy intressed in that pielframa case. But one thing i worry is that if u carrie SD cards in it.
Are those things not pressing on the screen of your MDAIII.
I don't want scratches on my screen. I am looking for some good screen proctetors to.
But first the case.

The link that Ishnohiwa provided, seems to point to a Piel Frama.
Personally I've had a Krusell Multidapt with my o2 XDA II for months and never lost one SD card (I always carry my SD 1GB and Sandisk WiFi 0MB wherever I go). That's why I'll be sticking with Krusell when I get my o2 XDA IIs in the next couple of days.
In terms of screen protectors, I've had a chance to try many but none can match the eXiM Screen Protectors!!They rock!
Here's a link to a review on the Exim Screen Protectors on TheGadgeteer and another one by my good buddy Mike on Mtekk.
I’d like to know what you all think of our latest release. Any suggestions and/or comments are welcome. The 4 bracket design is new so I’d like to hear your thoughts on it.
Thanks!

Looks good
Will there one of those funky skins soon too?
The way it holds the Device looks very good.
But you have made the same mistake as proporta with the magnetic strap You put it on the back so it acts like a really annoying claw on top of the device. When you take a call it really gets annoying as it first tries to cover the speaker when you put it to your head. Then after you have moved it out of the way it rubs on your head getting even more annoying.
IMO it would be better to have the strap on the front panel so it then fixes on the back (just like original XDAII case). This gives a lot cleaner look on the front and stops the annoying claw effect.

Hello sparkyxda,
a JAVOSkin (with strap) is coming in the near future, but unfortunately we do not have an ETA at this time. So please stay tuned!

I really like the four bracket design but the magnetic closure is a pain - I'm never confident about leaving one of these near my wallet!
Does anyone have any pics of the device in the actual case?? Javoedge you know that alone would help people make up their minds.
also can you slide the keyboard out with this case?? include pics of that also
Hello everyone,
Thank you for your inquiries.
I believe the review of this case linked below will answer most of your questions.

I am afraid the keyboard cannot slide out while inside the case.
I apologize.
since you are asking our advice maybe you could give us a discount?? then it might get around the board a bit more
As well as looking smart, for my money a case must protect your device. It would appear from the pickies that the top left and right corners aren't protected (certainly not with any wrap around from the case). My XDA2 was seriously damaged after I dropped it - it inevitably landed on the top left corner and the on/off switch would no longer function (case cracked too). The aluminium case looks as if it would do the job (sorry to report that I bought a Proporta ally case - but only for the protection offerred - not for its looks). Fuctionality is also better with the ally case - I can use my phone and any other button assigned programmes without having to open the case. I would still much prefer a leather case if it offerred protection.

really, this is pretty much like a "small group survey" ... in marketing jargon
Not good case. protectionand accessibility. This case have 80% protection and 0% accessibility. I need to open front cover to access the buttons and make a call. Who need a credit card slots in PDA case? I think so far most successful case is Brando. If you would make the same idea but with transparent front, your case will beat up every other models, because is no any really good one on market today.
I am looking for a rubber skin, not a case, for the 8525... anyone know of any leads?
Some where mentioned in this thread (cases,holsters,skins...); maybe you'll have some luck there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=273546
check out ebay, they have tons on there..
silicon cover
Got myself one of these ....
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/12249.htm
v pleased with it - works well - but you'd have to check it was OK for the 8525
-Take a sock
-Cut a bit (from the part around your legs) of it slightly longer (1-3cm) from it and sew one end (sew the inside, not the outside FTW).
-Ta-Da! Instant case that fits your pocket!
Instructables in real english right here
i was look for a good case with belt clip

so i search and search....
the only cases that seems to feet is all the universal cases
but no one seems goog enouth
and seem to be imposible to find some horizontal belt clip case
so here is my find
http://www.noreve.com/category/PC+d...tui_cuir_universel_PDA_-_Large_Tradition.html

just a little large for the p6500, but good
i would like some case that feet the P6500 well , horizontal with belt clip
so until it comes out, this one will make the the job
so if some of you find something better, don't forget to share !

Years ago compaq used to make an expandable fabric case for the 36xx ipaq. I still have mine and it fits the p6500 perfectly. I don't know if it's still possible to acquire it.

The P6500 has a bit rounded backsight, so if u tap on the display the HTC waggles. Is this problem solved with the PielFrama?

I finally found & bought one of these from PDAir
They do two or three of them but this one was what I was after, just something to carry it around & clip on me belt
I have one of the ones that kwburress wrote about and found it to be an excellent piece of workmanship, but, I also found that PDAir have some aluminium cases which are handy as well. Thanks to both Prospro and kwburress for their input...
http://www.otterbox.com/htc-cases/htc-p6500-cases/htc-p6500-defender-case/
we use the otterbox, it's great if you need a rugged case for ultimate protection.
Got one yesterday at a local store for 2$(approx)(Rs-100), so just thought of sharing....fits perfectly , covers every edge & complete back panel
i've also seen a crystal one , but didn't get one cause silicon case is more durable than a crystal case ...
If anyone has any other cases feel free to share
images are in attachments(bit blur , taken from nokia x2 , kindly bear with me)
My case is minigel composed, cover all the phone except holes and screen.
It looks like yours without the red mark
That's gr8 , I wish I didn't had that red part :-(
Thanks for the share
Sent from my MT11i using xda premium
I used case like this but made of TPU. I think TPU is more practical material for accessories.
OMFG !!!!!
Ive been looking everywhere to get a case !!!!
vimjam Can you buy me one and ship it to me in Goa ???
I will pay you !!
Please
I have a case just like that one! Mine is clear. I bought it on ebay for under 3 USD (the shipping was free). When I ordered it, I thought maybe I wouldn't like it, maybe it would make the phone too big or something, but no! It fits great and the phone does not feel bigger at all, in my opinion. I'm not really a big fan of phone cases but I have to say I love this case. Since my case is clear, that red logo really stood out, so the first thing I did was to remove it, which was very simple. I just used my nail.
I have pictures of my case, and a link to the one I bought on ebay, but since I have too few posts to be able to post links, I can't show them to you just yet...
Edit: I totally forgot about attaching pictures in this post, so here they are, but I can't post a link to ebay yet.
thats a gr8 color
