PRoblem with Audio Manager
I have installed but run partial because i dont see the bottom bar and i have an error "Load RC fail"
Help me...
Thanks
Is it just me or doesn't this program sort the music on the albums correctly. Seems like it just does alphabetical and not by real album track order as WMP does.
I'd use it all the time if it weren't for that. Is there a way around that? I don't see anyway to set it up sorting wise.
Woo got this running on my samsung blackjack aka i600. Its the one thing i missed from my SPV E650. Changed to the blackjack because the screen kept breaking on the SPV gutted as it was an awesome lil phone.

Yep, I confirm, and it is a reason for me to use WMP.
Is everyones' font on main streen of HTC audio manager (artist, title etc...) so small? I run it on QVGA screen and it is really tiny - like 8 px :/
Any solutions please?
Anyone figure out a registry entry or something to adjust the font on the Audio Manager? I need it like 12 or 14 point... anyone?

I've been using TCPMP, a very neat player with lots of plugins for both audio and video playback, works wonderfully, has many options (I mean many!), even a benchmark , in a few words I love it!
You should give it a try, and with the plug ins you can get flv playback, mp4 playback and whoever knows what may come out soon
Used in combination with Pocket DivX encoder works like a charm with my lobby, the only weak point is when you try to play WMV files intended for PC, the WMP has a bit more power, but who said one program eliminates the other
Is there an updated version of the Audio Manager?
There's some bugs in version 1.0, such as sorting by trackname vs track #
HE-AAC playback doesn't seem to work properly, SBR is not decoded, sounds dull
I've contacted HTC but they weren't be able to help much, gotten no responce after sending them a sample file...
Most recent version i've seen on the forums version 1.02 build 1017.717 should have the fix to sort by track #

I heard you can use the Audio Manager to make ringtones is there already a thread on here for it.. just wondering if anyone knows how to make ringtones with it
just select Set as ringtone in Menu and then select Trim. This is where you can crop the song and save it as the ringtone
thanks for this! working on i780

I just recently changed my ATT tilt with the windows 6.0 version to the 6.1 version. I want to download the HTC Audio Manager so I can manage my ring-tones. However, I downloaded the link that was provided by rickwyatt and run it to my laptop but could not find the setup to install it on my laptop to transfer it to my phone. I tried also to copy the audio-zip link and paste it to my storage card while my phone was syncing but it didn't work. Can some one tell me how to or get the HTC manager so I can transfer it to my phone and what are the protocols. Thanks,
I have a really annoying issue on WM6. When playing music using HTC AudioManager or WMP from an SD card the audio will stop after 5 minutes as though the SD card is getting powered off. Is this normal and is there a known fix?
I have had the same issue with Shadow and Crystal but previously used WM5 which was not a problem.

YUp... I'm facing the same issue with all WM6 roms ....
I have tried lots of different roms and the only time I had that problem was when I used the original Touch X by Gullum, Great rom apart from that , I just upgraded to version Xb from Gullum now works fine. Just for Info I am using a Platinum 4gb Card.
umm.. so weird, I never face that problem before
what's ur ROM?
i've never had that problem before, only some skipping when using by BT headset, an overclock fixed that.
Same problem here i'm using Shadow Touch edition.
After music stops i open storage card from file explorer and all the data looks scrambled... Then, when i reinsert storage card, everything works fine for a few minutes and than the same thing happens again...
Same problem here, I am using Crystal 5.1 and just posted the problem before I view this thread. Is there a fix for this?
When I was in Touch X/XB the Music Player played a longer time before the application close but in Crystal I think it closes after at least 3 songs(in the SD card) or so.
I use Shadow Touch rom and it have the same problem, I even disable the setting for turn device off for ..... .
thank you.
I used Crystal 5.0 and now Shadow Touch and have the same problem with both. I altered the registery settings for SD Card power management also which made no difference.
would be great if there was a solution but I'm also glad I'm not the only one.
i think the music stops after a while due to disappearing sd card..so put this into your registry problem will be solved...
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\MMC_Class]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:00000000
this happens only with htc audio manager,it is application problem, actually htc audio manager closes by itself, you do not describe the problem correctly,it excists in kaiser 5.1 and shadow touch too.when i use windows media or other application, there is no problem, htc audio manager bug only.
Yup. I've had Audio Manager close on me even as I am using it. Anyone else comment?
let me try media player n c.
maybe hma4 or cloudafa can answer?
have try it on Media player, no problem at alll....
problem from Audio Manager.
I don't like WMP's EQ setting, hurts my ears.
download and extract (anywahere except extrom) and got to folder and run audiomanager.exe 495Kb file music wont stop but your screen plugin may not work so you assign it to WMPon registry

I have proven with several programs to see video, proved several resolutions and nothing. To the 5 minutes to be seeing a video in the HTC an error in the synchronization of the image with the sound takes place... There is some solution? I have proven the TCPMP, the WM, the DIVX... and nothing...
Sorry for my english!
Do you have used a converter for the video's?
I'm using PQDVD http://www.pqdvd.com/watch_dvd_on_pocket_pc.html to convert the original videos to 320x240.
The videos are then almost between 150MB and 220MB.
And TCPMP are working fine with these videos

this has happened to me since day one. its been discussed a lot here. but due to the ati problem, programs such as tcpmp, cant use the overlay to its full effect, so after a while, you will lose sync unfortunatly. I was hopping it would have been fixed a while ago.

Ok, thanks for the answer.
I see many people are now using core player instead of tcpmp. so let me hear from you if i should still continue having it cooked into my rom or if i should use the space for something else?
if i dont include it i can always have it in the addon rar so if u choose the option of not having rom and want to have it in the addons rar then please say so via a reply to this thread.
no,it takes space, outdated, evreybody nowadays uses coreplayer which has support for .wmv. I do agree it should be an addon. If this was to still be cooked in the future, just get rid of windows m dia player ,you cant have 2 media players in 1 rom !!!

More complicated than that. Yes I would appreciate the last official TCPMP being installed, 0.72RC1.
0.81 takes longer to load, loses buttons and the timer, but can do subtitles. I appreciate it's all combined as a single .cab so may be marginally easier to include in the rom.
I have both installed, but only use the cooked version when I plan to watch a subtitled film.
Thanks for your interest!

Please explain more fully!!!
you need to copy the contents of this zip into the windows folder in your phone !
I found tcpmp 0.72RC1 to be the best tcpmp.
Although I voted pro to retain tcpmp, I seldom used the cooked tcpmp, but used tcpmp 0.72RC1 instead for the main reason that lyrics can be showd in big letter and in a full screen. But the cooked tcpmp will be first in portrait, you have to set it to landscape. Secondly, lyrics is shown in upleft corner and in a very small screen. If you can cooked tcpmp 0.72RC1, that will be wonderful.
I confirm that it is better to have this player in the form of addon!
Yes, the 0.72RC1 still the best of the lot. Core video playback is not as smooth even with the update for Advantage, so claimed. Please have the tcpmp as an add-on will be fine.

actually video is spectacular on coreplayer, just use ati imageon with acceleration off, on benchmark I got around 180-190% on videos .wmv/.mpg

Coreplayer is a paid for app and there is no demo version
Since July I have an annoying problem with playing a video which was made by camera in VGA.
It freezes every 1 - 2 seconds.
I have problems only with this type of video.
Which packages do I have to replace?
Or do I have to do something else in my kitchen?
P.S. Tried 2.14 - 3.14 Drivers.
Does anyone know, how to solve this problem?
Please, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player) is a free alternative. This is where CorePlayer came from. It plays any format with the best results, it can even display subtitles. It will make the best use of your hardware. Assuming you have an HD2, it will play DVD Rip movies without any problems, just as you get them on your computer.
I want to get rid of freezes for default (HTC) player, because I want my HD2 work better with default soft.
You could try installing leo cpu speed and disable speed scaling, that may help.
Sounds like an issue reading from the sd card though, it may be worth backing up your files and formatting the card.
Did you change roms recently, i.e. around July 1st?
I made the last my rom yesterday.
And this issue have all my users.
Doesn't anyone know how to solve my problem?
If you could upload a sample captured video, then somebody can try in their mobile and then you identify its an issue with player or recording format, bitrate etc.
