Hi everyone,
I have been trying to make a Simplified chinese rom for my touch pro, due to work reasons. I have used the dump and official roms from the forum as base rom but i ran into some problems.
I have managed to customized the entire rom into simplified chinese with the diamond 0804 mui files and my own fonts and settings. but even though i have replace the 200+kb wince.nls in SYS folder to the CHT 1mb+ wince.nls, after flashing my own rom, the chinese region is still not shown in regional and settings.
all chinese display are correct, only the regional settings are still those from the 200kb wince.nls. how should i correct this problem? i cannot use the reloadnls or usemynls method as it would affect my work applications.
experts, jugg, please kindly advise ...

It is NOT POSSIBLE to flash or replace the ROM on your device with a dumped rom. At the moment there is no portuguese ROM available.

Same thing here, I have a htc tytn with the portuguese rom (bought to TMN)! And I have some problems in my wireless connection when I connect to a wireless network that requires a certificate! ...... without the portuguese rom we are stuck.. because If anything goes wrong in the upgrade process we don't have any manner to downgrade to the original rom.. and by the way we loose the guarantee..

I'd appreciate it very much if someone did or tells me where to get as my brother doesnt speak english and desperately needs improvement on his QTEK 8500 (especially more storage space)

You are right, there is no 6.1 rom in german. I looked for it too, but nothing...
I'm also interested in a german 6.1 rom for the Strtrk.
Probably we have to wait until the first wm6.1 smartphones with german rom hit the market.
infact you don't have to. There is some sort of SDK provided by MS where you simply can take the language files from. An easier option might be to take all files from that ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=383587 and subsequently replace the English files in our PRO ROM with the GERMAN ones.
In any case its a bit work to get to know how to dump a ROM etc. But if you really need a German ROM i guess you have create one by your own since the majority of Germans around using English versions.

These files are not working with Windows Mobile 6.1 Smartphone Edition. The Screenshots showing Windows Mobile 6.1 PocketPC Edition. You could use them only if you have Erofich's Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro ROM. But as i use Windows Mobile Pro on my StrTrk and i am looking for german languages too, i will try it.
And do not flash this ROM on your StrTrk because this is a ROM for HTC Wizard. You must open it with htcRE and extract the *.0407.mui files, copy it to you phone and sets some registry keys to enable it. Or you have to rename the files to *.0409.mui and copy it to your phone.
But, i can't guarantee if this works...

Download a file (found here) called Diamond TF3D Config. It will allow you to change your tf3d to english. It should work on your raphael as well (raph is x05ht, diamond is x04ht.
If you want an english rom, flash hardspl and then the rom of your choice. This will void your warranty, however, so if possible do lots of reading and then make backups of your phones ipl spl etc so that you can restore it in case you need warranty work.
Warning: if you install an english rom, you will have a hell of a time getting your MMS working again. But if you are on the packetfull you could just use gmail.

I bought a X05HT touch pro which is Japanese version. I downloaded and installed this "Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7.CAB" file but nothing changed in my mobile (its windows mobile 6.1)????

You need to run the program you just installed, one of the settings is for language, select English and away you go!
Until someone develops a MUI pack, there is no way to completely convert the X05HT/HT-01A to English. Your only other alternative is to flash your phone to a WWE ROM.

I have installed this new ROM.
I haven't noticed anything new yet (but It was just installed a few minutes ago...)
Any ideas what the improvements are ?
EDIT : so far i have noticed a few bug fixes (like when clicking on the battery icon u really get the powermeter now !) and an overall speed performance increase (video streaming is better - exploring the windows folder is much faster - etc. or maybe that's just because now I have a new clean install but I don't think this can be the only explanation).
Someone can Upload this rom?

It's Chinese. So unless you have the Iolite CID unlocked or a Chinese Iolite it's not possible to install this ROM.
Is there any way to change language to Polish in Iolite`s english WM 6.1 ? I`m looking for two weeks for complete polish rom to iolite`s. Please help.

This is Traditional Chinese ROM upgrade for Iolite.
If you did not buy the Iolite in Taiwan, you will not be able to download from HTC directly.

I have flashed my Iolite with the WWE (Europe) ROM, it won't allow me to install Chinese Display fonts in it afterward.
Does any one has a solution?
I have not trouble with my Jade which came with WWE (English) ROM.

Give some more details. You try to install with a cab file? You try to copy them to windows dir? And is there any fail message?

I use .cab file(s) in storage card to install.
I have different versions but none of them worked.
I use the same .cab file(s) for Trinity, Cruise, Touch 3G and none of theme of have any problem. Once installed, all my Chinese SMS people sent me shown correctly.
But for Touch Cruise (09), all it showed are squares.
There may be (hopefully) there is a solution by editing the registry.
I don't have the original CHS ROM, now I stuck with a severely crippled machine because I can't see my Chinese friend's SMS send to me.
Does anyone has a CHS ROM? There is a CHT ROM in the forum I noticed.
Problem solved.
I was so get used to the Microsoft Chinese fonts MSYH for too long. It was that fonts didn't worked.
I found a version of Simsun fonts that works in Iolite.

You can try Asukal (free) or CE Star (commercial)...
