Does anybody else have a problem with the camera not showing enough capacity from a 16gb card. My 8gb card showed 5760 shots available at 3mp the new 16gb card I just received shows only 4736. That's with other storage being used on the card of course.
Does anybody have a 16gb card yet?
Any help or tips gratefully received.

Just tried mine witha clean 16GB card and it shows 6693 shots available.

Thanks for that Lord. I don't know the storage stats for photo's exactly but don't think that sounds enough .My old 8gb card now shows 6210 available @ 3mp with about 3gb left. It's not a big problem just annoying.
Maybe it`s max number it can display(count), did you try to take some picture and check if it still showing the same number of left shots

i bet it's only coded to dispay four digits, the real number is probably something like 216,120 or something.

The links you posted are for Secure Digital (SD) card sizes. The Hermes uses microSD cards. These are much smaller physically.
Both SD and microSD have the high capacity version (SDHC and microSDHC).
MicroSDHC cards work on the Hermes only with the latest cooked versions of WM6.
The second one is a standard 8GB SD card, afaik there isnt an 8GB MicroSDHC just yet.
We know 4GB microSDHC definatly works (you need a recent version of WM6).

y? if u need space, just get a 2GB microSD. dont u want to upgrade to a VGA pdaphone very soon? i'm not sure if the real Imate 7150 or HTC omni support microSD or not
What do you mean a VGA pda phone? I also just bought my Hermes therefore i would rather not spend a lot of cash on a new phone.
Man those 4 GB SDHC cards are soo expensive. i can get a few 4 2GB for the price of one of those.

Will LVSW 3.30.2.1 version support 4GBMicroSDHC cards? That's what I'm using.
Check your build # and read!! This HAS been asked many times before. Hint-- There are other threads concerning 4gb microsdhc.

majority of people use the 8gb class 2 or higher, same with 16gb, but very few use 32gb... that's if you can get a hold of one.

thats the things, so far i've read that most are using 16GB and not 32GB read another thread on some other forum before that this guys had problems cause the 32GB was causing some instability. As for why i want to get such a big card cause i recently saw a 32GB class 10 on offer. LOL

Higher class (higher than class 4) is needed only for sdext and swap partitions.

I'd like to add some space to my Swift 2+ (in order to drag more music along). Currently I have a Transcend 32GB card fitted. (class 10 or some such, I can't open her up right now to check)
If you have any experience with bigger cards (brand/type/size) that work well? 64GB or even 128GB would suit me fine.

I've never had any of these problems. Only thing I've noticed is that it's a bit slower than the other 4gb card I have.
In any case, thanks, I got this Sandisk card in 128GB and it works a treat. Still need to fill her up with music though.
Since the update to Nougat, the 128gb card is no longer working for photo's and video... so I had to downgrade to a smaller size. Disappointing especially since it still works in all the rest of Android (I have several other apps that write to the 128GB card successfully)
My 128gb spazed out majorly and left me in the dirt.
I have since been contacted by xiaomi and they have confirmed that it can take a 512 gig card...
For me 128GB are already too much, what do you want with so much Storage? And btw. found 1TB SD-Cards on Ebay..
I have a lot of music... That's all...

Get a V30 rated card. Stick to name brand ones only. About $75 for a .5tb
It's really not that big
Managed to get a SanDisk Ultra 512GB for a good price...and it's going well....slowly filling it up...
