Anyone experienced the same ?
I just installed Storage tools ver 1.5. I launch it, try to format my Sandisk SD Card 256 Mb, but the status said "Cancelled". Same thing happened when I try to verify, scan, etc my SD Card.
Anything wrong ???
What I am trying to do is to format the SD card with backup FAT option so that I hope there is no card erasure issue happened again.
I had this problem with StorageTools v1.4 I had cooked into my 4.01.16 ROM. I downloaded the latest version of StorageTools (v1.9) and it works fine now. I'm not sure why the cooked v1.4 didn't work, though.

Hi all,
After i upgraded to wm2nd 2.02 from this forum, my t-m mda2 started not to recognize my sandisk 512mb sd card. Anyone experienced this problem? The sd-card works with my card reader but the device does not recognize it.
Thanks indeed
Is there any way to format my sd-card?
yes there is, lot's of tools that do this floatin around on this forum
about a month ago I upgraded to spl 2.40, the .3 radio, and the 3.2.3 radio.
I am trying to upgrade the radio by the sd card.
it is a new 2 gb sandisk formated as fat32
I copied the radio rom file over as TITAIMG.nbh.
I enter the bootloader. In the white stripe it just says "Serial" no options to start the flash. Ithought I read and understood the How to's but it isnt working for me.
What am I doing wrong?
reinsert your memory card and reboot the phone back into the bootloader, sometimes the card isisnt siting right in the port

have you flashed before via the SD card method?
If not, your card may not be properly formatted - what did you use to format it? If its a built in SD card reader, that may be your problem. People have had success with external card readers. My dell built in one wasnt doing it properly, but my sandisk external reader worked fine.
Fashing Problem
I just purchased it 2 gb sandisk micro sd, not sdhc, never flashed from the card before.
I downloaded the Flash format program and reformatted th card to fat 32 and cluster size 8kb (my only choices are 8 and 16)
I tried this morning and can't get the .40 radio to flash either.
.30 and .50 both flashed fine. I got the file from: http://www.lifesnotsogood.com/dcd1182/titan/radios/
use the spl 2.47 formatting app to format the card in the phone, the app will tell you if its formatted properly or not. after not ever being able to flash via sd, this worked for me.
I've got a bit of a problem with the SD Flash Method.
OK, I'm trying to flash a Raphael ROM, I name the .NBH file RAPHIMG.NBH and put it on the SD card (a standard microSD 2GB Kingston, formated with StorageTools as FAT32 512 bytes sector (/fs:FAT32/a:512))I put the RAPHIMG.NBH on the SD card useing a card reader and go in Bootloader, and than it sais "No Image Found!".
The device is T7272.
Thanks in advance.
can you try to name it RAPHIMG.nbh and give a try
Tried that too, but no change.
I hate to say it; Sandisks never disappoint you
I don't think the problem is in the card, I used the same card (but full with files) to flash ROMs on my Hermes, without problems, and my Sandisc is no longer operational (can't be read).
And i think like taiseer999 that it is your kingston card,or wrong format.....format it with windows please and give the card no name, maybey that will work.
I flash with a sandisc 8gb and it works ok
I first tried using the card already formated, even without deleting files from it, no reformating after useing it to format my Hermes. It has no name. My microSDHC card Kingston Class 4 can't flash ROM too.
Are you sure that the RAPHIMG.nbh file is, with the right CAPITALS, in the root of your card?
If you are, AND you are sure the formatting of the card is correct, try another card.
( I used a Kingston 8GB class 4 yesterday, and a SanDisk 8GB Class 6 two days before, both worked out.)
((and the 512MB SanDisk I have, collecting dust, worked good before.))
(I should update my sig, i'm on ROMeOS 1.40 WWE now)
I think it has been mentioned that the Kingston cards suck. I've always used my old 512mb sandisk microSD to flash and it has never disappointed me. To this day, I've never used my Kingston 4gb.

I used the same card to flash a slashscreen to my friend's Hermes, and it worked, I just removed the RAPHIMG.nbh, and put the HERMIMG.nbh, and I used the same card to flash my old Hermes few days ago (when I sold it out), when it was full of files, and with my RAPHIMG.nbh in it, and worked. I'm sure the leters are correct, checked it a few times, and I used ROMeOS 1.40 and the .nbh file is already named. I think the problem is elswhere, not in the card.
Finally someone with the exact same problem as me.
I also own a Hermes and my card flashes just fine on that device, but on the Raphael i always get a no go.
I doesn't matter how i format the card, i even tried different brands and different types e.g. Ultra II - SDHC - non SDHC
I tried every possible combination of case sensitive letters.
I'm lucky that i don't have any problems flashing the regular way, but i would really like to flash using my card, because i also use computers which do not have Active Sync installed on it.
I hope that someone can solve this issue because i'm still stuck here. If u need help or testing PM me or reply in this thread.
SO whats the final verdict here? I cannot flash becasue of my sd card?
I just flashed yesterday with my SD card. Not sure the brand of the microSD as my phone isn't right next to me.
so pissed I have an Adata 8 gig class 6 and I cannot flash through my card it won't recognize my raphimg.nbh ... Its driving me looney. Wish something could be done i don't want to get a new card.
Did all of you format your card using FAT32?
Hmm. Could it be that the rom flash only works with microsd cards and not microSDHC cards?
I have the sandisk 8gb sdhc class 6 and that works great, flasht already 20-25 times with it. so sdhc no problems

Successful
I've had no problem. I'm using a 256mb Sandisk formatted Fat32. Image name is RAPHIMG.nbh
Mine is microSD and is FAT32 formated, but it's not working. My other card is microSDHC and is also FAT32 formated, but it's not working too.
Hi Everyone,
I have recently purchased a secondhand HTC Legend,
and a new Kingston 16GB Class 4 Micro SDHC Card.
Android 2.2 Froyo is Installed
(Blayo's Froyo Rom)
(I have a 256MB MicroSD & 4GB Micro SDHC Card that I have tested and they work fine.)
When I write to the SD Card, such as take a picture or download an app from the market, the phone says "SD Card Unexpectedly Removed".
I have tried:
Reformatting the SD Card on Windows and on the Phone via Clockworkmod recovery. (My Phone is Rooted)
Scanning the SD Card via Windows Error Checking
chkdsk via command prompt
Scanning for errors via Drive Restore Pro
Buying a new Sandisk 16GB Class 4 Micro SDHC Card - Same Error.
Is there anything else that I can do?
Any advice that can be given is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
dont be a fool it seems that its the rom's fault it might not support the file system of your sd cards.Dont keep buying new ones....just go back to your stock rom
Thank you for your reply.
I flashed the stock Froyo rom, but the problem still persisted.
After some more research I found that downgrading to 2.1 can resolve the issue, so I tried it and it did.
My only question now: Is there anyway to make this work in the stock Froyo rom?
