Hi there is there anyone who tryed the Manila2d on a non wwe rom, it workes fine for me exept that i dont get any text , just pictures. Someone who know how to do to fix it?
Even when i put in the langue pack it will not work, just blank fields.
I have a Swedish Official HTC Rom and want Manilla2d to work PLZ.
Try to change the numbers in file names to xx409xx

Orginally I had Orange PL ROM, which was working really slow in my NIKI, so I decided to upgrade my NIKI with Niki Project ROM version 1.0 from Tom Codon (thanks Tom)!
I have some questions :
1. Maybe I will want to back to service my NIKI, because I have a problem with my display screen. I have orginal ORANGE ROM, so the update should have the same points like update to NIKI PROJECT ROM ?
HardSPL ?
2. Second thing is that in TOM's Rom I have problems with SMSes.
I always used vibrate alarms in my phones, now when I receiving SMS messages the vibrations doesn't works. Any idea ?
3. Like I wrote previously , I have a NIKI from Polish Orange, so I can't access to HTC download zone ;( , but maybe someone have an access and be able to download and share orginal HTC polish and english ROM ?

Many bug and problems , i tried fail ,and dont try to install 3d manila, i have a big problem , my niki unreconize the pc, can flash with cable, i go to home to try with bluetooth.
Manila2D on Original HTC WM 6.1 Rom (german) is running.
Have it installed yesterday on my device.
Works OK on my WM6.1
Some bugs, but all the basic features work.
on my official 6.1 WWE works great
Seems like media player doesn't work..
Who i find Manilla 2D?

softkeys not showing
I also installed the new ROM (dutch version) and m2d, but my softkeys are not showing anymore. Anyone else has this problem?
I installed manilla 2d on my touch dual with official upgrade it worked but slowed the scrolling down loads.
Worked fine and fast on WM6 orange UK stock rom

I should be able to translate it in english if it works for Nike.

I have no SYS folder - only nbh file. I think I need rom Extractor or something like that to extract rom - but i don't know from where can I download it

My fears were confirmed : the ROM is protected, so I can't efficiently extract it.
I will try that ROM to see if it would be interesting to port 21189 SYS/XIP, but I'll try to do it by myself.
Edit : just flashed it : the phone hang at WM splash screen, juste after the sound that indicate you have to calibrate your screen. I've tried to hard reset but no way to make it work... I will try to use its XIP, that's the only part that has been extracted from the NBH...
I have the same problem - but after softreset it works. So just softreset phone and calibrate without any problem

Also stuck on boot screen, hardware reset not working, then I put battery out and in and phone works. System is great and fast but it is chinese.

Flashed twice, hard reset once, soft reset 3 or 4 times...
I'm using 1.65.29.22 Radio, my device is totally unlocked. I flash my device since jan 08, that's the first time it happens to me (only my bad ROMs make me such things).
I know that 6.5 works with 1.65.28.25 radio and 1.15 spl, quite slowly but it works... so I don't think it's a problem radio... I've tried the 21159. the 21189 is better?
It seems the new build is much more stable and fast then the older...
But in chinese i won't test it

Give some more details. You try to install with a cab file? You try to copy them to windows dir? And is there any fail message?

I use .cab file(s) in storage card to install.
I have different versions but none of them worked.
I use the same .cab file(s) for Trinity, Cruise, Touch 3G and none of theme of have any problem. Once installed, all my Chinese SMS people sent me shown correctly.
But for Touch Cruise (09), all it showed are squares.
There may be (hopefully) there is a solution by editing the registry.
I don't have the original CHS ROM, now I stuck with a severely crippled machine because I can't see my Chinese friend's SMS send to me.
Does anyone has a CHS ROM? There is a CHT ROM in the forum I noticed.
Problem solved.
I was so get used to the Microsoft Chinese fonts MSYH for too long. It was that fonts didn't worked.
I found a version of Simsun fonts that works in Iolite.

You can try Asukal (free) or CE Star (commercial)...
I was running WWE 1.66 and had no problem with the SMS messaging when using Greek characters. However, after upgrading my HD2 to WWE 3.14 (which is a lot faster and much more stable than 1.66), when Greek characters are typed in SMS they are shown messed up. The message is sent correctly formatted (if typed correctly) but the screen shows the characters messed up. Anyone has come across this problem? Any solution?
P.S. Keyboard used on both ROMs is HTC HD2 Greek Keyboard.
