I like dark themes, and I really like the Diamond v2 theme, but thought it needed something, so I removed the red and green to make it blue!
So, I thought I would share it to see if any one else likes it.

That was what I was trying for, just barely enough to see something there. it seems to look better on the handheld than on the desktop, almost holographic.
Like I said I like dark themes
I like the blue, but it's too dark for me.
I can brighten it up and make other color versions if someone would post the original .jpeg of the background. I can't remember where it is on my phone.
Ok, you guys inspired me to make a few of these. Here you go, I hope they are better. I brightened up the colors, and made several colors.
Aqua Diamond
Blue Diamond
Green Diamond
Purple Diamond
Limited to 4 images per post...
Red Diamond
Yellow Diamond
Look great... Thanks..

Yes this, and I apologize for the late response. I thought this thread went dead. Thank you for the info georgegreco86.

When I get home tonight I am going to play around with it. I liked it when I had a Gingerbread theme going on my phone but w/Splash of Color it clashes for me.
While we are at it, what are the frame images called? I might just go all creative here lol.

Let me know if you all want anything more.
Go to the kitchen and let me know what you want. Grab screen shot if you can and I will cook it for you.
For 351 stock Framework, there is nothing you need to do to it, you can just use it without editing and cook what you want. Or I can do it.
These are great, just that the carrier (I like to have displayed) and clock are in black font on a dark backround. Very difficult to see. White fonts would be awesome!

So I reflashed this and now the fonts are white! Looks awsome. Not sure why the fonts were black first time, but glad I reflashed. Thanks again alperin1!

Edit: May be because I used SMR 0.3.2 the second time. (Not 0.3.2.6, I was attempting a nandroid back-up with 0.3.2)
Hi there,
Terribly n00bish question, I am aware of this, but I couldn't find anything around.
How hard would it be to port the stock GB theme to the Arc? I love it to bits but the blue app background kinda ruins having any theme other than a blue one, and looks messier than the normal black background.
I know I'm being picky but it seems something that may go down well. Even better would be a port of the blue GB themes so you have the clean look of GB but consistency with the SE apps.
I'm pathetic at Android development so I will gladly help in any way I can, but as it is, I'm hopeless at it so doing it myself is a lost cause >.<

Did you only change that battery ?
Did you upload your framework-res.apk or another file ?
Also how did you flash it, or did you just replace the framework-res.apk in /system/app/
Questions i know, but dont really fancy a boot loop lol
Is it possible to use this to build up a stock theme or is it only certain mods that it can do?
Papa Dialer.
This one was created a long time ago but I brought it back from the grave. lol. I'd like to create a theme based on this color but I'm not sure when I'll have the time. I'll see what I can do. I may port this to a GB ROM but not anytime soon. Enjoy

Thanks man. I haven't a clue on how to change the number color. Any pointers?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
edit the styles.xml in values xhdpi and values hdpi. if its black (ff000000) then just change that to (ffffffff) white or any other color you want. this is for both the phone and htcdialer apks. there might also be a value port hdpi or xhdpi. check the styles.xml for the hex codes. You might also have to edit the shadow color.
Hi all,
I notice that most of the time there is a kind of white glow around text on the SIII's screen, that's quite annoyin when you have certain color backgrounds (anything not white or black actually). It's most noticable on the Dynamic and Standard setting.
Is there some kind of fix or soltion for this? I never noticed this on my Galaxy Nexus so it can't be the AMOLED screen...
I've noticed this subtle white banding on text under certain circumstances also. I don't think it's anything wrong with your display. It could be artifacts created from the contrast. Personally I don't find it too of putting and it sometimes helps with legibility. It could be something to do with the display trying to sharpen things.

im suffering this as well. I really hate it!
Hope he fixes it soon!
Yeah I'm getting more and more annoyed by the phenomenon. Especially since this didn't occur on the Galaxy Nexus, so it's a software thing for sure..
