Not possible. Gonna be a bigger battery.
How is it not possible? I have an extended battery for my mogul that does not thicken it at all. It will happen soon
It is possible seido is supposedly working on one now check the site
I ordered one off of ebay.. I'll let you guys know how it worked out..
I guess at 2400mah it should give me about 80% more up time and aprox 9 hours of life..

Will be interesting to see how the back cover fits, or whether it does fit on the Sprint model.
ya i want to know how that back cover feels and looks, cause thats one big battery!
Here is original HTC extended battery 1800mA:
http://www.expansys-usa.com/p.aspx?i=172018
I dont believe either of the battery covers shown with the batteries above will work with the sprint version. Look at the right side of the cover, they both have a slot taken out of the side.
thats correct. Both will NOT work with the sprint version.
HA...
battery fits. it detects as unknown and the cover does not even come close to fitting and is missing a part.. its modelded that way as if its for another phone.. in no way shape or form will it even come close to fitting.. ill e-mail the guy and let u guys know whats up..

Looks like another Hong Kong knock off that doesn't work quite right on the CDMA phone?? Do you have anyone close by that has a GSM phone you could test the battery and cover on?
I have 4 of the regular replacement batteries from a different HK seller and the battery shows as unknown, is just a hair larger (OE cover still goes on ok) but the real kicker is that none of the batteries will charge while on the phone.... Only on the supplied charger that came with the batteries.
I'm wondering if this is a GSM vs. CDMA issue with the batteries of if they are just junk.

Sprint version is taller
From what I have read is that the sprint version of the HTC Pro is taller. I guess that this would make the battery cover longer.

That's why I just put my phone in my pocket with the screen against my leg, or in my coat or bag.
The pouch that comes with it is pretty decent I guess, nothing real special but if it had any sort of belt clip or hook or anything at all I would probably use it but it will work until I get the one I ordered:

Battery Thread
Ok so most of you know I have had the android for about 3 weeks. When I first got my hands on it I started using it right away and did not do a full charge for the first time use.
So I got 2 more the other day and decided to charge one of the new battery's for 12 hours and stick it into my phone.
I am very happy to say that the battery has lasted 30% longer then my first battery. I started using it today at 10am and still have 58% batter left. It is 5pm now
I have 3g switched on the screen turned down all the way. I surfed for about 30 minutes on 3G and did allot of text and about 20 minutes of talk.
I will give it another day and report back. But this is surely a huge plus.
Do you think is because u charge the battery longer for the first time? I heard that pre release G-1 were on Android 0.9 and the one coming out this week is already on 1.0? Is this different on your phones? does it make a difference when it comes to battery life?
My device was boxed and always ran 1.0 on it.
I am a firm believer in charging the battery all the way for first time use. And this has really proved my theory.
I currently have a wing. I currently keep my phone on fly mode while at work since I only use the calendar to remind me of appointments and meetings during the day. I turn on the phone at about 5pm and from that moment on I might be on the phone for 3 and 4 hours talking to my wife who is currently away. On weekend is worst I spend probably up to 6 and 7 hours. My wing is great when it comes to battery, I only charge my every night. how do you think G-1 will affect my life?

Me too, and with anything new I not only charge it all the way the first time, but I also run that first charge all the way down. Seems to help keep things in good condition. I recall reading something last year that with any new device it's best to wait until it's fully charged to use it and then on that first charge run the battery all the way down before recharging.
Thanks for the tip, as hard as it will be im just gonna let it charge up!!!
I just picked up a wireless charging pad from my VZW store.
I love it!
I can now just set my phone on the nightstand next to the bed and not have to worry about plugging it in.
Thank you HTC for finally making this built in, and not an option!

I really like this idea. I've currently got a dock for my Rezound, and while it is more convenient than a loose cable most of the time, its still fan be a bit of a pain sometimes.

Did you get the LG one? If so, supposedly the thing beeps super loudly every time the charger turns on according to the Amazon.com reviews.
You are supposed to be able to take it apart and remove the speaker from the board.
I just ordered 2 for $35 ea from there... hoping for the best.

Great. I'm curious if the beep happens every time the charger kicks on (I believe it shuts off automatically when the phone is fully charged) or if it's just one "beep" when the phone is set down on it.
Either way, I'll probably be disconnecting the speaker since I will use one bedside (don't want to wake the sig other) and one at work and don't want to bother my coworkers either.

i was on the fence yesterday about getting it, and picked it up today and i am so glad i did. i especially like how firm of a grip it has. i still think i may pick up the energizer one from amazon so i can have one at home and one at the office
I'm thinking of picking up the LG pad (and ripping the speaker out) to put on my desk. I can't think of anything more convenient that just putting the phone down and it charging up. I'll probably continue to use a charger at night for now. I'm not really crazy about the LG pad, and you know there'll be more options out there soon. I'd rather hold off and get one that's maybe more stylish, or slimmer (and no beep!) before I invest in a second pad.
I'd like to see a USB powered pad if possible, so I could toss it in my bag and take it to work with me (no free outlets at my desk so I currently charge my phone through the USB port).
I just ordered the nokia charger from verizons website, it is compatible with DNA.
Long Term Use
I have read that wireless charging causes the battery to get warmer than corded charging. I wonder since this is a non-replaceable battery will that effect the overall life of the battery. Is anyone else worried about long term use of a charging pad. I love the idea but wonder if it will cause issues later on.

What I'm worried about is the constant charging and discharging that will happen when we're forced to charge it over night, at work, and then in the car.

I didn't see it answered anywhere, but if you go with the wireless charger will you be able to keep a slim case on it? I don't want to put an otterbox on it or anything since it is already a pretty big phone, but I would like to put one of those slim form-fitting cases on it.

I hate to post an urgent thread, But maybe someone else can benefit too. I have a guy trying to sell me a Rezound cheap. BUT!! He said he lost the original battery and got a new one with back cover from Verizon. Now the phone does not recognize or power up with new battery but he said another battery he has for a different phone powers it up and it just shows the battery symbal with a line through it. So is this fixable with a new battery or did the dude fry the phone and trying to sell a paper weight?
the other battery is probably one from a tbolt. if it does power up with that other battery, then the phone probably is fine. you'll just want a new battery that's actually meant for the rezound. just my thoughts

Please tell us this of BOTH batteries;
Manufacturer (HTC, etc)
Voltage ( 3.6, 3.7 3.8, etc)
Color (Red, black, gray, etc)
Capacity (1600, 1800, 2100, etc)
There are bad batteries that look legit but end up being fake! And the size, voltage do not match from the actual manufacturer! Be careful.

I just recieved my LG G5 H850 and it doesn't charge. After plugging it in to the charger that it came with battery with 0% on it shows up, then changes into a battery with loading circle, eventually it shows battery with question mark and red stripe on it and next to that - battery with LG logo. What does it mean? I just recieved the phone and how come it considers the components unoriginal when they are fresh out of the box?

Where did you purchace it from a carrier or online. There have been many rumors of cheaply made clones. If its new take it back for waranty. They should exchange it..
I bought it abroad so I'd rather not send it for warranty because I'm afraid it's going to take ages to send me back a new one. Im thinking of buying a new battery, it's going to cost me like 10$ and maybe save me a lot of time, any other thoughts what might it be? Because it can be either a charger or battery, right? Since phone displays some battery error I'd take a guess at the first one
Have you tried charging it from the PC? If that works, the charger might be broken.

Hahah thats true swapping it does deteriorate the battery when swapping it on a constant use. My bottom module has come but It still not charging at all, I don't understand whats wrong with the phone I've checked for anything thats effecting the charging port especially the new one and found nothing. I had like 3% of battery left on my phone everything seems normal nothing is wrong with the phone except that its not charging at all.
