Hello,
I cannot get my bluetooth headset to start voice dial by single clicking the button on the headset. Does anyone else have a bluetooth headset where this works? I am using a Plantronics Voyager 520 Bluetooth Headset.
Edit: found it. I was pressing call button short on the headset. This headset needs a long press on the call button to activate voice dial...

I have i-mate PDA2k and Plantronics 510 http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat1150057/cat5420035/prod5360004 bluetooth headset that is really cool.
The problem is that I can't find any way to make PDA listen to headsets microphone and to play sounds through it :-( When I press and hold the button on the headset I hear <beep> and the icon on PDA changes from headset to something like headset making sound. In the headset I hear very quiet noise. Thats all. All sound are still playing through the PDA and headsets microphone is ignored :-( I also tried Cyberon, Vito Voice2go and Voice dialer - no success with headset.
Is there any way to make it work?
PS Latest official firmware on PDA2k (1.40, not WM5) and latest bluetooth drivers (3900)
I have an SX66 and a bt800. Whenever they are connected it takes one ring for the headset to ring, and then 2 more rings for it to pick up when i press answer on the headset. Anyone else have any problems like this
hello, i use an new os xda mini s. i will use it with bluetooth-gps and tom tom navigator 5 in my car. can i also use an bt-headset at the same time to place a phonecall?
greets,
mikka
Sure, I do this all the time with my K-Jam, the external speaker will stop during a phone call. If you use BT toggle to direct gps voice prompts thorough your bt headset the call will still ring through and put the audio from the gps on hold until the call ends. I've hooked up an fm transmitter to the headphone jack and played gps voice prompts through the car stereo and they continue even if a call comes through the bt headset. Hope this answers your question.
Short press the MFR button (Multi Function Button with the Motorola Logo), speak name, and the phone will dial the call
did it work for any one ?
Wireless Stereo and Hands Free are both enabled . is ther any other requirement ?
it doesnt have a microphone so no, although it can activate calls on the phone.
what i used to do was pick the call up and talk into the phone, i just got the Nokia BH-501 headset which has a built in mic but i miss my extra hang up and connect call buttons from the HT820.
i can use it as a handsfree headset and can answer incoming calls , so it does have a mic
Its juz that i cant give voice command over bluetooth 4 some reason
yeah i know i noticed that as well except i dont think its the headset that does that just the phone that sees the command and puts the voice recon app into action.
the HT820's are good but not mic good.
Hi
I have got the Tytn II and the sony ericsson HBH-DS970. the bluetooth streams music and all the noises from the phone, ie. text message and error beeps but it will not stream the phone ringing or the phone calls.
any ideas?
thanks
Try clearing all pairing on the headset:
1. Switch off headset
2. Switch on again and keep holding down the power button until you hear a beep in the headset.
3. Hold the answer button while at the same time switching off the headset.
Switch on the headset again and pair it with your phone.
If this doesn't work then you could try posting your question in the Kaiser forums.
you are a legend mate, i am now in full wireless bliss!
