Is there by chance anywhere an original O2 xdaII GERMAN ROM available?
I have bought an T-Mobile MDA II but am using mainly O2 as network.
I had an O2 xda I before and I'm missing certain O2 goodies, such as the Smart Menu and the Autoconfiguration and such.
I'm completely happy with the T-Mobile ROM in general, but maybe there's a chance of "mixing" these two roms together, just for the sake of the applications.
Anyone any ideas or links? Will be greatly appreciated!

I have the extended rom from my UK xda2, its in english but the auto config will let you choose German for setting up of the connections

o2 GER ExtendedRom
Opened my Ext Rom and copied all the files to my HDD. Hope that's the correct way to extract it...

It finally worked out quite well!
I found this site here: http://www.smartphone4u.de/xda2/tipps_tricks/extended_rom.html (attention - it's in german) and they explain the trick step-by-step.
In simple words:
I just got the T-Mobile German 1.60.07 update, started installation, changed the extended ROM File (ms_.nbf) with ER2003Edit, put all the O2 goodies (incl. T-Mobiles GPRS_monitor) in it, continued the update, hard reset - and viola: An german O2 xdaII with everything in it - and I LOVE it. Say what you like - O2 did a great job with customization!

At this moment I have the T-Mobile MDA Vario II (the Dutch version). If possible, I would like to change my T-Mobile rom to the original HTC Tytn ROM. Is this easily possible?
I don't care if the HTC Rom is in English, but when possible the dutch version is even better ;-).
Can anyone tell me where I can download a HTC Tytn rom and the software and / or manual to change the original T-Mobile Rom into the HTC Tytn rom?

Hungarian ROM in the UK
Bought my vario 2 on e-bay and it did not come with a CD I have called up T-mobile and they wont give me one. When I switch on my phone it says "test only not for sale"...I basically looking to reinstall the t-mobile uk rom hoping that it will removed this message but can not find it anywhere. Is this Hungarian ROM going to work on a uk phone ? Are the GPRS & 3G settings the same ?
I am clueless any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you got a preproduction hermes version with a super cid and 300mhz processor...just look in the hermes wifi in preproduction section...and you will get all of ur answer....

Very interesting. The very first T-Mobile Hungary ROM that has ever hit the internets.
(T-Mo Hu never releases ROMs... if you want an upgrade, you have to take it to the service and let them do it... they still sell their Wizards with AKU 1.1.1 ROMs)
Update works
Updated my Dutch T-Mobile MDA Vario II (2).
Took some time, first made Super CID and SIM lock free.
After upgrade the regional settings are indeed Hungarian but the ROM itself is English.

I've just updated my (I think is the right term) rom using
RUU_HERMES_HTC_WWE_1[1].35.255.2_1.35.255.102_1.08.00.10_SHIP.
Now the installation was fine but some of the original setting on the t-mobile rom are missing, like the quick launch 'running program' button on the screen, the 3g connection symbol as well as a few quick launch icon that use to be at the top of the main screen ' web & walk , contacts, notes. These have all disappeared, is there a way of getting the t-mobile vario 2 setting back or at least a way of configuring the keys to how it was with t-mobile. I think what i've currently got is the HTC original rom hence the HTC logo when I now turn the phone on.

I have an English HTC Touch Dual and i don't get the dutch dictionary working. Another person bought the dutch HTC version.
How can I grab his firmware/ ROM and upload it to mine?

any way of finding out which radio is used in australia and getting ahold of that, i am in america and have come to realise my network doesn't support 2100mhz for 3g but supports 850/1900 so i am hoping for a way to close 2100and opening 850

Hi,
If you want to flash your device with Dutch ROM you can find in this forum a DUMP of Dutch Original ROM.... or you can DUMP the ROM inside the device of your friend.

This isnt possible! The Niki use a very Limited RF Chip. It cant handle more Frequencys!
need dutch rom for repair reasons
please badly need t-mobile dutch rom device is not receiving signals since the begining
a week ago so i need to bring it back to t-mobile but did already tom,rom hardspl and sim unlocking need to go back to al origenal state please help

In typical HTC Style when you check their website it says it is for the Diamond. List as a Touch Pro ROM update for Diamond????
Also mentions a bug fix that I currently do not have on any of the office stock rom'ed Touch Pro's.
First HTC release devices that do not run with optimal performance. Now they can't even get document details of ROM releases correct (or so it would appear).
Maybe it is time to go back to Tin Cups and string

Not sure of your location but I would grab a stock english rom for where ever you are. Check the Touch Pro WIKI it lists all the current stock ROMS.
I'm looking for HTC Fuze (from ATT, USA) official ROM.
My tri-color screen says:

SPL-1.95.0000
At the forum I was able to find 1.90 references only. Where could I get 1.95 (if I could)? I'd like to have possibility to restore original ROM before I will try other ones.
Is it possible to dump the ROM from the phone?
And one really silly question - what SPL stands for?

Sorry dude, but your original request was for a stock rom. They are all pretty much the same so just pick one.
If you don't like it try another. ROM selection is usually a personal experience. What I like or want others may not. Just keep trying them until you find one you like. Be warned flashing ROMs can become addictive

When i download the italian rom (http://rapidshare.com/files/147381564/RaphaelReconstructed_ITA_1.90.rar) when i reach 100% it gave me a download error... I tryed in another pc and it keeps giving me the error... I think the file is corrupted... Can someone please reupload it? thanks

It was released. The first post of the thread you linked to has download links. Its a nice release for ATT users. You may have to deal with remapping your keyboard and PTT buttons, I'm not sure, since you don't have an actual Fuze. But the info is in the thread. Have fun! Make sure you HardSpl before you flash to protect your phone. (Since its not a Fuze)
