Weeks ans weeks that I'am waiting a solution to upgrade securly the ROM of a Qtek 2020 (bought end of 2003 in Brussels) :
ROM : 1.52.00FRA
Date ROM : 10/23/03
Version Radio : 1.05.12
Protocol Version : 1337.13
Version Ext ROM : 1.52.02
Since then, I have problems with the BT earset. Other fonctions (GPRS, telephone, outlook) are OK.
Today, I decided to download the file of EWDB (many Thanx !) but it doesn't work at this time (I'ave followed instructions "Réponse a Albatros5027 / Wed Jun 16, 2004 14:35").
:arrow: EWDB (and everyone) : do you have any solution ?
I have an SPV M1000 and updated the Rom 2003 -> WM2005 with AKU 3.5 24MB Pagepool and 40MB RAMDisk WWE. It works perfect. I've installed Tomtom 6 and solved the problem with the backlight.
BUT the SPV won't pair with my BT gps ; it finds the BT gps and when I fil in the `0000´ it won´t accept. Because of wm2005 I have more COMM ports but this won´t help!
Does anyone have a solution??

I have like problem after same upgrate. My SPV M1000 don't see GPS GlobalSat BT-338, but pairing with BT-800 Jabra very well.

My Phone is Advantage X7500 .I Tried to change (upgrade) my rom version (AP 4.0 Platinum) cause it's speed is very Low.
In Bootloader is see this Information :

And This is The Device Information :
ROM Version : AP 4.0 Platinum
ROM Date : 11/09/07
Radio Version : 1.58.00.00
Protocol Version : 32.91.7020.20H
And The Identity Tab In Device Information :
Model No : ATHE100
Why In The Bootloader wrote ATHE400 And In Device Information ATHE100?
Now I Downloaded Michy 6.0 ROM (windows Mobile 6.1) with SPL 3.5 and Tryed to Install But After 1% The Error [244] : INVALID MODEL ID Shown What do I do ?

Athe400 is the id for the athena x7510 which is a different hardware
You could try cmonexs solution to access the phone via mtty to change it back to the correct ID.
I am assuming you were totally correct in saying you have an athena x7500 with the microdrive.Check against the photo in the wiki.

Are you from Asia? I believe your current ROM is Asia-WWE
