nope, they have difference signatures

It sounds stupid but i went into 3-4 o2-Stores and not one of them had an actual working device. So i still don't know whether the splash had a text on it or not.
Can anyone here help me?

No other O2 Touch Pro DE user? I know there was a lot of requests for O2 DE splash screen...
I edited the title and added the word "german", so hopefully some more people will look at this thread.
probaply a bit late but the german o2 touch pro definetly has "xda diamond" signature on the splash screen

1. Can a Cingular 8525 be flashed with a Hermes rom?
2. Are there any extra steps to take if I want to flash the HTC version?
3. I'm closer to power user than a novice user, but I'm also of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school. With that in mind, are there any can't-live-without adjustments to be made (freeing up more memory the chiefest among them).
Your answers are perfectly fine as yes/no, if one word answers will do!

read Hermes Registry, scroll down until you see... "When applying a non-cingular ROM to an 8525 its default keyboard is different than the 8525"

If you are looking to have TouchFLO up and running on your 8525 read below
Please reference this link and install this schaps ROM. When you first install the ROM you will notice when you swipe your finger across the screen it only rotates the screen but you can modify FtouchFLO to open the cube.

I used TFloCubeCtrl to modify the cube...see the attachment.
I only tested the ROM on my 8525 all the credit goes to Schap for creating the ROM. I just wanted to inform you guys that it is working on the 8525

I have almost completely de-branded my Orange Dual excepty for the hideous Orange themed dialer skin which seems it's cooked into their ROM aarrrghhh!!!
So if anyone has the original HTC Branded Touch Dual Dialer skin please if you can dump it here, a zip file or a cab file either will do

the original one in touch dual is different from that one. (similar colors though)
I'm sure you must be busy with other things but any news on the dialer cab mkhattab? as you can see there's quite few of us here, just hate the hideous Orange dialer!

actually i want the original one becos i think its cool enough..
i have actually installed a cab file for a VERY NICE iphone dialer, which looks perfect..works well too...but it hangs if i talk for too long without touching the screen...(the fix is to just off the power while speaking)..but still sometimes u forget...and it hangs)..but very nice graphics though...the fish thing...
Yes I would like the Touch Dual Dialer Skin as well.
The orange one if FOUL it ruins the device! I've managed to get rid of all the other icons etc by restarting upon customization after a hard reset.
Ill split open the ROM when I have time this week and extract the relevant Touch Dual Files to make it cleaner

Yes. The only guy that's managed to do it is Duttythroy who has incorporated it into his latest Kaiser ROM
I have sent him a PM requesting the OEM or CAB files suggesting a Donation if he would prefer but he hasn't replied yet (understandably being Christmas Day).
I'm not sure if he will post the files as they aren't even in his Kaiser Cab Collection FTP yet (unless I am stupid and cannot see it).

I've got the same thing, I just assumed it's like this or am I wrong? Anybody with the original unbranded HTC touch dual ROM can you confirm this please!

Not really... It's just the dialer that doesn't change.
Just flash a different ROM.
This is what the dialer looks like on my Nike.
I havnt got the foggiest how to rip it from the ROM, I have all the .raw files if anyone wants 'em.
You'd have to do a ROM dump and then just copy out the RGU and Dialer files (images etc) but you may as well just flash the HTC ROM.

surely flashing the room all'll be ok...just wait for the 6.1 room
but what i cant understand its the different between the brand.
my italian one (portoghese and more other) was easy to debrand...the damn orange one no!!!why? when i do hard reset and before to perform a SR i saw the same information about the branded room...but after .... the orange room go up again!!!

if it would work on the athena then i would of posted it here a while ago. tried it bac when i get the first rom with it and it never works. it prob has to do with diamond having vibration and some other things.

do we? lol! don't tell me i have it for almost a month and i did not know a thing about it....it changes the screen orientation when you connect it to the keyboard but this is not a tilt sensor....

I asked for a CAB file of Teeter cuz I need it for a Diamond ROM without the game.
I didn't want to post a new thread for this purpose so I did a search and found this
thread, and pawel seems to have the game OEM since he tried it and he knows
what he is doing.

I was put theese files into /Program files directory in my MDA Compact IV (this unit don´t have Teeter game too).
I was renamed the folder PACKAGE_Diamond_Labyrinth to new Teeter (in Program files). And the three files from PACKAGE_Diamond_Labyrinth_0409 I was put into same folder (Program Files/Teeter) and it is ok now ;-)

im pretty sure orange changed even the toshiba menu so unless they were bought from yosh directly i dont think anyone has seen the real abikity of he menu.

i am also interested. On the stock winmo 6.1 it had 3d effects but in the 6.5 update toshiba removed effects becsuse they thought customers wont use it anymore.

Sorry i do not know where to get the ROM from i bought my device with 6.5 already pre-installed. All i know of these 3D effects are from another thread and at MWC's .It isnt on the Toshiba Website aswell. Sorry i cant help you there. Perhaps some others who bought the device before 6.5 may provide a dump of the rom?
yeah i thought there was a diffewrence
in the 6.1 the three stripes moves individually like opening three doors at the same times and then in the 6.5 they turned like three doors attached as one opening
cant help with the dump though

I feel upset...Toshiba's strips was considered worldwide as one of the worst apps in the ppc's history. Even Toshiba included the SPB Shell because most of users didn't use that horrible launcher...
Anyway, as said, one man's meat is another man's poison....
