I installed a new rom ,and I have three lines of pixels to the top of the screen. The problem is in any rom, and only be solved giving 30 or 40 resets.
Use the Hard SPLv9.

Try installing another rom. Could be that but if problem persists I believe its a hardware problem, much harder to fix.

Hello people, im having a sudden problem with my htc s740. Suddenly the phone crashed, and i rebooted it, but now its stuck on the orange screen :-s Last change i did was, i installed the BB connect program but found it complicated so removed it. My phone is unlocked and has the factory fitted rom. Any ideas whats wrong anh what i can do??

Recently I replaced my original touch screen on another one ordered at aliexpress. It worked absolutely ok before I spotted some phantom clicks. After that I tried to use FTS_Upgrade and old one firmware from the previous touch screen.
Only when I got a dead touch I figured out that it has a different chip: FT5336GQQ (see photo included).
So, now I'm able to use it only with the mouse connected via OTG-cable. Tried to use some other bin files, but no success. Touch screen is fully inactive.
I guess if I find the right bin file - I could solve that - or am I wrong?
Any ideas, guys, how to solve that problem? Please, HELP.

I installed the CyanogenMod 11 on.
Compatible with my phone.
But there is something wrong! The touchscreen does not detect anything!
The file names of build.prop lcd density was 120 .This time around 240 factories! If I find out it's wrong to do it. It remains a repair shop.
