i need a stupid nv file for my ks20. yesterday i tried to create a nv backup but the LGMDP_EURO didn't recognize the model of my phone. after than i tried the emergency mode and i clicked the wrong button: it flashed my phone with a brandmarked firmware from vodafone germany.
i found in this board the original unbranded firmware and flashed it on my phone, but i couldn't use it due the "unavailable otp block".
i also read that you have to erase the efs if you have this problem and so i did it.
i lost my imei number, maybe the bt- and wlan-address, too.
do you know a solution for this dilemma?
lol, no one who can help me and the bunch of people with the same problem?
except for the IMEI the other nv options should be the same at every ks20. and this IMEI entry could be replaced with the QPST tools by an invalid one.
why do i find so many crap about "how to ****flash ur bricklocked simphone" but no informations about reconstruction? that's cheap.
but yes: i'm the noob who erased the efs because some bigger noob meant to suggest me to do that...

If u need .nv2 file, pm me with ur imei no. and email address, i can generate one for you, but the last digit, which is calculated by your phone, would likely to be different and also i can only generate branded .nv2 since i only got branded .nv2 file. It could be work in unbranded phone but just u need to flash a branded rom or hybrid rom to use with it.
The last digit of IMEI is a checksum, so if the 14 first digit will be correct, then the last one will be correct as well.

but, there is mistake from my side when insert SIM card of our network
1- phone ast to write PIN
2- i write wrong PIN many times
3- there is one message when i try to write correct PIN which u set as following : " this phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked "

Looks like you screwed up, and if i am not mistaken you can no longer sim unlock that phone. It is locked to AT&T now. I hope I'm worng, but if there is no fix then you might as well sell it to someone in the US.
Is there a solution to the problem?

From what i understood in the posts i directed you too, you need another sim unlocked E970. Then you make an EFS backup of the second phone and replace the EFS files from your phone with the ones on the second phone. Downsides: Your phone will be a "clone" of the second phone since they will have the same imei, and you need to find another unlocked phone.
Where you can find it in the phone specifically what are the method of installation please

I bought an AT&T LG Optimus G E970(1) on Ebay and I though it was asking my SIM code, so I put it 4 times and it got a hard lock:
"This phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked"
I tried to find some kind of information about unlocking it but I was unsuccessful. I tryed flashing roms or restoring factory etc but nothing worked.
Even thinking was not really a hardware problem I though I can sell it for parts and buy another, because there was not any solution.
A kind of solution:
As I said I bought another E970(2) and I unlock it, in the process I make a backup of efs files and that gave me an idea.
I used the 3 files of my new unlock E970(2)
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/m9kefs1
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/m9kefs2
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/m9kefs3
on the E970(1) and it bypass the hard-lock (IDK how is it made, but is not matter) working as a new cellphone clone of E970(2).
The plan was to put E970(1) hard-locked efs on the E970(2), and since it's not hard-locked, unlock the imei and put it back on the E970(1) since if you put a unlock efs imei it bypass the hard-lock but I failed (by mistake I deleted the backups of E970(1) efs).
I don't know how to change the data of those archives or generate new ones (and I don't want to upload mine because I have now 2 clones) but I guess if someone could help with that.

You can make the EFS backup using freegee.
hi sorry to disturb everyone, before i proceed with my question, just want to say i have read other threads did more or less same an nothing happened... i was on i9300XXECM2 (KOR) 4.2.1 firmware, so i thought flash via odin 4.3 BTU firmware i did and it did not fix it, i can connect to internet and etc but cant make recieve text it says not registered on network, my apn settings are correct, ive done everything factory reset etc, the only thing i have not done is through root explorer on efs folder which has many other files and folders so would anyone be able to tell me what to do and how to fix it pleaseeee many thanks
If your serial number and imei are correct then try patched modem and kernel. Otherwise pay for a repair.
You don't give any information on how you broke it, so help is limited.

i dont know how it was broken just found out when i put my sim in it said not registered on network, because its a phone from one of my family members, so dont know what caused it, can you give me a link for the patched modem and kernel please if you dont mind, i dont know which oneto use and a link too thanks, all i know is that my previous family member got the sim blocked due to some problem so they blocked the sim, but they cant block the phone as i can still use it cant ii i just cant make calls or recieve them or even text.... help me
It sounds like your imei has been blacklisted, contact your network provider as there is no way to reverse this without their help.

Problems with global firmware (V10.3.1.0.PEIMIXM)
Hello, I had a brick installing V10.3.1.0.PEIMIXM. With miflash I could install another rom (9.5.16.0 OEICNFA 9.5 Stable)
but the problem is that IMEI numbers are zero, if I dial *#06# apears UNABLE TO GET IMEI.
I can´t unlock bootloader because I need a SIM CARD, otherwise it´s imposible.
I can´t root and use QFIL or others program to read/write qcn beacuse I´m not root, because I´m locked.
I tried with diferents roms (all of them china version) and the same result...NO IMEI number.
I do not what to do, any idea to recover IMEI numbers?

Do u still have affected mobile? Because it's been a long time since you opened the thread.
U can reinstate imei numbers with opening diag port. Using ussd code. And then instate imei numbers with one desktop app. I could do that but my mobile still doesn't show any network. That's the issue for me.
Btw, my case was same as you. Stock mobile. Bootloader locked, stock recovery, unroofed phone.

I'm with a big problem (or huge problem, ou gigantic problem)...Have a Honor 10 (COL-L29) with variant C636 (Asia Pacific) and region hw/spcseas. I tried flash a some images in device, and not make a backup from my exists oeminfo (yes, i'm stupid and noob user). I make flash a oeminfo from board software (my bootlogo now appears Huawei Ascend), and results: not have serial number (appears 0123456789ABCDEF), no region (appears unknown region), no imei (appears 0000000000000), NOTHING!!!! My bootloader is locked (i try entry in special fastboot mode by testpoint) and shows unlocked, but after reboot, lock again...
Please, help me!!! I'm searching for all internet (I wanna just recover my IMEIs and Serial Number). Device starts normally, but without informations mentioned above.

I'm thinking a change my device...but is not the intention now...
So, i see in internet (correct me if i was wrong), what a oeminfo file does have the imei information. See too in same applications (dc-unlocker/sigmakey) you can write your imei, HCU too (all applications paid).
My question is: IS there a possibility to insert a IMEI (MEID/SN) in oeminfo file (because i know is binary file)

On Kirin 970/980 IMEI in oeminfo
I know people what lost imei and cant do anything
I made fix a system in my device, now appears the settings (Processor, RAM correctly and storage). But the IMEI still 0000000000, SN 1234567890ABCDEF and no MEID.
And the grand finale.....appears a NCK Unlock in my display.....
Strange, no??

I have same problem with my col-l29 phone i don't have any backup. my problem is when is bootloader lock after unlock with mrt dongle i try flash its orignal version with its give error after flash show logo and off. when i try to power on only logo and off.
how you fix please help me.
