consider, however, that the radio part will only work if you plug in the standard headset since the phone uses it as an antenna. you can still put it on loudspeaker, but it will not start when the headset isn't plugged in.

I had the same problem but I could not figure it out how to fix it. With some roms I used it didn't work, with some it worked...maybe you should try a different rom? Please correct me if I'm going wrong with that
yes you are right... with shadow 1.0 vista works... but with korand doesnt work....
i really want that work on korand....
I would love to know the answer to this question, perhaps we should ask varanusvincent as he build the one that does work (although based on another one).
it was good if someone can help us... this is good for the battary live... because i use the pda to listen music every day...

Coffie rom also works...so maybe we can ask gullum or cloudyfa....
I think there are some settings that have been deleted in Korand's ROM.
If I compare it there are a few diiferent..
But I am not sure..
Better if you ask Cloudyfa for it.

one more thing does it shows silence tab on left soft key while a call is incoming or not cause thats necessary for me sometimes.

Has anybody tried it yet? on my phone, it will crash EVERY single time im either trying to make a phone call or trying to pick up an incoming one. just trying to find out if anybody else encounters this. on a related note: i lost the cab for the (in my case working) version 2.2.0.45. if somebody could please send it to me so i can at least use it again? i tried skype's forum, but the people there are useless

Skype is just working perfectly for me. I don't know what version it is but downloaded it yesterday from skype directly (2.5 beta).

I actually am aware of the difference between the two versions
yeah, i think it was german, but then i dont really remember since i downgraded very soon after that so i can still use it. sound still coming from the back speaker in that version?

Are you using an original english rom? from what i have read so far, this problem only occurs when skype is installed on roms with an os language other than english.

General problem with WM devices. Try fring, they somehow managed to reroute the sound from the back to the front speaker. works quite well actually.

Thanks! It works well, the only disadvantage is that you cannot change the volume of the ringtone.
Skype with S740
Skype does work very well on S740 (using Skype 2.5) but i'm forced to use the HEATSET!!!
But got a new problem after installing Real Dice Poker:The Skype notificationflag doesn't show anymore on my homescreen titlebar
I already tried to Hard Reset my S740 but even that did not help.
(Flag does show after entering "Recent Programs" in titlebar)
Any ideas what i should do to get back that systemicon on my homescreen?

Later i noticed that bluetooth was not working properly..files was not recieving from other mobile..but i can able to send the anyfile..only incoming beams was not working..
Can anybody help me plz...
