I was trying out themes for the old WM6 dialer and none of them worked. They were all pixelated with all of the colors and just downright screwed up. Uninstalling did nothing.
Anyone have a cab that will install the default WM6 dialer skin, or a WORKING black one for WM6/touch pro?
I don't want to enable the HTC dialer (I like the old one, and I have Verizon. I don't have the RAM issue though. I've got mine booting with only 30-39% RAM used up. )
So can anyone help me?
install diamond tweaks and select WM dialer in the list and you will be good to go.

can anyone tell me where I can find the default keyboard, theme and phone dialer (phone pad) and how I can copy these to use with other roms. I always liked the color keyboard which can be found in roms like pdaviet 4.003, but the one in v5b cross is fine too. I want the phone dialer like in 4.003 or v5b cross. Anyone who knows? Or where to find these apps in cabs?

Can anyone tell me where I can find VGA versions of the 10 key CommManager, HTC Home and any other HTC Apps?
Been searching for hours but not finding sod all. The supposedly VGA HTC Home app I found looks tiny but I've seen another version (@192Dpi) on the Athena that looks normal but can't find it!
Also, does anyone have a VGA version of the new HTC Default tsk? The black one?
I'm only really after the three things mentioned above but if you know of any other cabbed up VGA HTC apps, please post them as it may be useful for others!

As far as I know, the HTC home only displays properly on 96dpi in realvga mode. That's what I use and it looks proper (not tiny). I also believe that many have used the 10 key comm manager from the Kaiser forum. It isn't VGA but works well on our devices. You're also free to download PK's addon rar from the Dark Dual 3.0 ROM. It has a nice collection of apps there. This is easily overlooked while pouring through threads. Most of the apps will be within the first few posts of new ROM releases, if that helps any. Good luck
Have you looked over in the universal forums? Many HTC and other VGA Apps. The Htc Home vga cab has been posted in this forum and also the universal forums.

Watch for the vga cab that really does not look too well. It cuts off the msg notification tabs and really looks crappy. but looks ok in 96 dpi, but not good in other dpi. Also, someone posted one that looks ok, but can not be customized with the HHC customizer. There are several that work well.

Yeah that's the one I'm running on my P750 now but it's pretty small!

I'm not new to custom ROMs in general, I've had them on my PPC6700 and Mogul previously, but the Touch Pro seems to have ALOT of them. I have specifics on what I'm looking for. I don't even know if half this stuff exists on the Raph800, so bare with me.
- WM 6.5, but only if it's pretty much entirely bug free.
- Landscape Cleartype. I've heard Da_G's ROM supports it, do any others?
- Topaz HTC Start Menu for TF3D, and HTC Menu Enhancement
- Rhodium TF3D (weather fix, again looking for bug free)
- NO built in Opera, or 9.7 Beta
- Touch HD S2A
- HTC app skins (Phone, Calc, etc)
- Non-ridiculous boot screens (which I'm flexible on lol)
Any thoughts?
IDK of any rom that is 100% bug free. but to get what you want you would need to use a kitchen. who is your cell provider?
I feel the same way have a ppc6700 and have used the kitchens on that one but my touch pro I am lost on what to install and what not to I just want to go to wm 6.5 for sprint just like stock nothing fancy but can add later when I know what they do

I've installes pocketshield on my phone. I though it was not so useful and it drains my battery, so I decided to uninstall it.
The problem:
PocketShield replace the HTC Sense dialer-Slide to answer by the Windows mobile default one. I can't roll back to original dialer.
Could you tell me how can I do to restore it because WM dialer is so ugly and with no slide to answer

Try it with this dialer (from the EVO). It looks much better than the original dialer skin. Also it has the important functions. I hav had also problems with pocket shield.

thanks for your answer, but I don't think it's working on a french rom...I'm still looking for a solution.
after installation of Swiftdroid 2.0 4M, the dialer application does not have T9 support so the calling is bit harder, i tried to install glass dialer i found here, installed it with recovery (the newest clockwork that came with the installation), it says its successful but when i restart i have the old dialer. Is this glass dialer not compatible with swiftdroid or there is problem with the clockwork? or any suggestion for good T9 dialer?

Id like to have the dialer that was in Gt540 2.1 version if anyone could share it here ill be grateful, or if someone can tell me how to install the glass dialer, coz more of those custom applications are ether too colorful or slow, or just add t9 support to the one that is integrated in cm7 swiftdroid 2.0
I do too like 2.1 dialer and contacts search box, im testing quite of few , also i found a tutorial that explains how to modify themes and apps. I'll come up with something usefull i feel like working on that today.

Veronica, I'm waiting, I also prefer 2.1 dialer. BTW are you working on data2system M5?
whats system2app? im not that into those things need to catch up ,
And also if anyone knows can i have the the alarmclock frm 2.1 coz it had nice widget
