ok, i've searched high and low and i know the answer is somewhere out there. but for some reason i cant find a definitive answer on how to modify the size of the taskbar (and/or top menu bar). from what ive read its a registry setting. i do NOT want to remove the taskbar, but resize it by a few pixels. anyone? thank you!

Ok ok I now have another problem. When you remove the time / date it shifts the Gicon and the wireless icon to the right. It moves them so much only half the wirless levle icon is showing. I have search through the WIKI on registry hacks but I cannot find the hack for the position of these icons.
I am sorry if this has been asked before, but after searching for a while, I decided to seek help. Is there anyway to disable the Landscape Menu without disabling TF3D? I would like to disable this.
Thanks
I sure hope someone has an answer, because I'm interested in that too.

so, you just want a blank screen in landscape, or tf3d in portrait, and today in landscape? or something else? more info brings more helpful answers
Im interested in a landscape touchflo that looks just like the regular one...last time i tried to download one it just skinned everything...so can someone point me to a landscape touchflo identical to the regular?
me too please!
I definitely want to edit the softkeys in landscape mode, but I would also like to change some of the options to choose from, or just change the landscape setup completely. I've been searching and can't find ANYTHING at all about editing the landscape screen. Is it even possible?
BTW, what do we call that screen? Landscape launcher maybe?
I know you can set the sound to AUTOMATIC so its on vibrate for appointments in the calendar...but I can only seem to find that setting by going to the SETTINGS tab on the TF3D screen. I was trying to cleanup the tabs I don't use often (using the TF3D Advance Config program), and I think I can do away with the SETTINGS tab completely if I can find another way to set the sounds to AUTOMATIC. I have searched almost all of the icons in the START / SETTINGS area, but all I can find there are ways to change the ringer or change the type from ring to silent etc. Is there a way to set the ring type to AUTOMATIC without going through the TF3D settings tab?
Thanks!

Please dont start new threads for things such as this. Especially in the ROM development section.
apologize...
I apologize for posting here...I had been up for so long, I thought I was in another Raphael forum. I did search and found nothing even close to my question, which is why I started a new thread instead of adding a reply to an existing one. I will search a lot more since I have time and try to post an appropriate reply in another thread, in another forum. Sorry for the trouble. If you are able to delete this entire thread, go ahead and do so.
Thanks, and sorry again!
Hello, Xda-members. I have a:
Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100)
Android 4.1.2 (Xwls8) Odexed/Stock/Spain-release
I already successfully modified market app's & system app's, this is not my problem.
Note, I have Googled for hours and I also used search function and couldn't find a solution, so I ask my question here.
I'm sorry if my post is in the wrong thread, I'm new to XDA !
I want to change a behavier regarding the "Quick settings panel". I try to describe my problem in detail.
When I open the "Notification tray" from the "Notification bar" the "Quick settings" are automatically shown
in the middle of all available quick settings:
See image: *ww.abload.de/img/aros3c.png
When I stop touching the notification tray, then it automatically slides to the left side.
I believe this is supposed to show the user to notice that there are more quick settings hidden on the right side to scroll to.
This really annoys me and I already know they are there.
Ok, my question is: How do I disable this behavier ? How do I change it to immediately start on the left side ?

I have decompiled my SystemUI.apk (I already did other changes to it) but I can't find the spot where this function is defined...
So, anyone here who knows what I have to change in the Xml's
I hope this is not a foolish question... Help and hints are welcome !
Hi !
6 month later I have the exact same question !
Anyone knows if it's possible and how it's done?
Hello Guys,
due to my bad English i don't try to tell you why i made the following.
On my Moto G 4G i changed the Resolution to 720x1200 with the Command "wm size". Now the top and bottom bar is very small.
Could anyone tell me the command to change the size?

It goes of the screen res. Not adjustable by itself.
Meanwhile i found the App "Dimensions Editor" here on the Forum. And this App was of course able to Change the Status Bar and the "Button Bar" aswell.

They should not have been able to edit it. As the size is built into the framework and anything that can alter it may cause issues with other apps. Main reason people don't mess with the screen res is that the play store will not show the proper apps.

Well, i didn't know that. And i haven't tested it yet.
I try to write why i had to do this:
I bought this Moto G for just 30€.
But it has a Hardware Malfunction.
The Phone sends Touch Signals in the upper left and upper middle of the screen, about 30-50 Pixels from the top. Not all the time, but regularly.
I searched for a Solution (e.g "Dead Buttons" that i would Position at those 2 Points) but the Resolution Change was the only Thing that made Sense for me so far.
Btw is it possible to "drag" the Screen more to the Bottom?
Or does anyone have a genius Idea to let this Phone work like it should?
