I have a problem with MSN Messenger om my HTC S740.
When I try to sign in I get a message that there is something wrong with
the connection ..
Very strange because email, browsing etc is working ok .. I dont use a proxy ... suggestions ?
Could you be more specific about the error you get?

I have the same problem on my S740. Can sign on once to live messenger,if i log-off i can't login anymore and i get an error that the service is unavailible or the conection is lost.
Closing the program doesn't help. I can only sign in again when i restart the device.
my internet setting (proxy,gprs,etc) are correctly installed. Internet Explorer and other internet applicatons (activesync, etc.) work normal.

I tried looking on the forum but cant seem to find out why facebook and apps cant access the net.
it says make sure your connected to the internet, but the internet works fine i can browse websites with no hassles.
known problem is facebook, kevtris score update neither work i cant seem to find any others at this present time, emails too now!!
im running touch pro with energy rom

ok emails says cannot syncronize then notification box comes up at the top saying cannot connect with current connection settings :S I have used the connection setup thing to tmobile uk but still no luck
ok i found the problem, its the proxy connection settings, the connection wizard puts in a proxy ip address for tmobile. untick the proxy server box and viola sorted.
Worth bearing in mind if you are using a unlocked touch pro on tmobile pay and go.

Hey there,
I'm new to this forum, and to this phone for that matter, but I think/guess your problem is not actually related to the actual android Market application but to your actual network connection (internet connection).
You must have an Internet connection set up on your phone, that means either Wireless Network, either Mobile Network (from your network operator).
First, check that you have a proper Internet connection set up (you can try with Browser app to connect to Google.com or something), and than try again the android Market.
Oh, and I also think that you must have a Google account in order to access the Market application.

Two things you should check , first that you have good internet connection try opening the internet explorer , second you should have a google account this can be set by the wizard first time you run the google market

my internet connection is smooth.... i tried login into google usin the browser and it comes....but only the android market , gtalk nd gmail apps don work....
Are you not able to open, log in and sync ur Gmail application in the phone?
If you are not able to do it , then just do a factory reset.

I cant recieve my emails via gmail app its just loading but nothing happen. At the end im getting an errormessage telling me "No connection".
After all i tried the standard emailclient delivered with Android but when i try to config i get an "connection with server failed" at first i thought may its a bug with the autoconfig of the mailclient so i entered the imap adress and port by my self but the same as with the autosetup
anyone knows how to solve the problem?
Try on standart mailclient the manual settings..
give the pop server ! on my phone it works with pop server !!

I tried manual. Finaly i recognized that there are several other apps are not working too. For example the facebook, the go!chat and the android market... anyone knows how ro fix
Try another rom, like trip´s miui...
r u sure u have internet connection? i advise u to check ur apn setting for internet connection
Yes (Browser works perfectly) , but its really strange because if i connect my x10 via wlan with my router everything works really fine.
Do you have an idea how to fix?

I get a problem with my device whenever the phone is trying to connect to Facebook chat in the messaging hub, even though my phone is connected to a good-signal Wifi and the Facebook accounts are updated normally in the people hub and working in every other place with no sign in problems.
The error code is 500

Hello to everybody.
I`m connected to the network using a company proxy.
I was able to surf the net by the browser but the apps didn`t work. So I began to use proxy droid..i set it but Google play store
doesn't work (Server error, i tried to clean data, cache etc. but nothing changed), Facebook app works only for notifications and messages but I can`t see the homepage and the walls, whatsapp works properly and twitter doesn`t work. How to fix it?
I tried also with Set DNS but nothing changed.
Than you for your help.
