Will you mail it to Finland? :>
Does it have belt clip?
Why do you sell such good case never opened?
Thanks.
pm me if you can mail it to me.
Already got this one.
Like it, only annoying thing is that when u pull out the phone sometimes the pen get stuck (and falls on the flood). After that the Volume keys will be pressed several times which let the phone make crazy sounds.... only a little problem, but overall a really nice case!
One of the best for now
Ascenca
Hi Is the case still for sale? if so i would be happy to take it off you, i am in the uk and just need to know how you would like payment.
I don't get it,
Is it hard to manufacturers and designers, to make a case with a hole for the sound (for ringtones...) ??
sorry , not available any more - sold

Anyone have any leads on sources of cases to fit the Wizard? The one that comes with the K-Jam look decent of first view, but since I'll probably want something nicer I figured I would get this thread started.

Well, an update on this, I picked up a Targus Small Camera case Model DCCS00 and while it is a bit loose front to back it fits nicely side to side. A bit bulky but functional and It is easy to insert/remove the device. Also it securely attaches to my belt so I don't have to worry about scraping it off on my office chair. It'll do until someone releases a 'made for' case.

any news with more cases to buy for the k-jam??
anyone?
I ordered and got this case for my wizard after it was recommended on another board. The guy said he found it at a mall in NY at a mobile phone accessory cart. I like it a lot. Fits perfect. The belt clip (although it isnt visible) has a built in swivel so you can wear it vertical / horizontal / or on an angle. I wear it at an angle and its so easy to place in pouch and pull out. I can also charge with the wizard in the case becuase it has a small opening in the bottom.

I just ordered an OEM blackberry 71xx slip case belt clip and Tre 6xx slip case from ebay.

Review: PDair booktype leather case
I did a review of the PDair booktype leather case here:

Cheers, Sabesh.
I wonder if the flip type PDAir case uses the same technique to keep the k-jam in place.
I prefer the not so bulky cases. using the case that came with Treo 600 atm and it fits perfectly. slightly tight but it fits in my jacket pocket a lot better than any other cases that I've tried.
I have decided to give BB 71xx pouch a try. I had to stretch it a bit in order to get my qtek a nice fitting.
http://natt108.net/qtek/
I am also in a process of streching my treo 600 slip case with a pair of socks and will post some pictures tonight when I get home.
Does anyone have an IPOd 2/3rd Gen slip case? Can you please try and see if it'll fits nicely with your Wizard?
Blackberry 71xx case
Just taken delivery of this case:
http://www.yourwirelesssource.com/shop/5/model/235388/accessory/245843/cat/31
(though from a uk supplier)
Fits nice and snug, and the slightly extra height of the case (about 5mm) can allow you to attach the handsfree kit to the bottom of the phone, son can be used without removing from the case (the voice dial button is also accessible, as is the power button).
A slight negative is that the sides/top corner still have the potential to be damaged on dropping, but I guess most type of slip cases leave some parts exposed.

For those using the WIZA100 variant of the Wizard...

Got this case this AM. It is for the dopod 838 or VPA Compact II. So far so good my only gripe is that the case doesn't allow access to the messaging and ie buttons [when closed] and it is kinda slippery [maybe use it in tandem with a neck strap or handstrap]

They have one for the WIZA200 models as well

Hi guys
Just received my ali PDair case - ordered Thurs night arrived this morning, outstanding service!! A great case too!!
Simon
I heard something about Aluminium cases and low gsm signal..
Are you having that kind of experience on your ppc ;
I currently have the Htc Wizard/ qtek 9100 and i am looking for a case.
Probably i'll go for the leather one.
no signal problems for me so far been using it for almost a week now... of course signal strength is also determined by your network coverage as well not only your device
Hi
Just checked on the signal stregth, one room in my house has a very weak GSM signal for Vodaphone and when using the PDair case it drops by 1 bar.
Must be shielding
Simon
Plastic screen cover
Does the aluminum case by PDair have a plastic screen cover to protect the screen like the Armor Case by Boxwave (www.boxwave.com)?
yep they have hard plastic screen
PDAir Case
Sabesh mentioned velcro in his review of the PDAir case. Does that mean there is some 'sticky pad attachment' to be done. The case says it closes with magnets, so I can't figure out where the velcro comes in unless it's to secure the handset. if that means sticking something on to the handset then I'm not so keen. i need to be able to get the handset out easily to fit in my car kit.
TIA, Davebo.

Why do you say Noreve is better than Piel Frama?
Does the pouch make HD more bulky?
Is the internal of the pouch made of soft fabric? Don't want it to scratch the sides of the HD, when we have to pull the HD in or out sometimes.

I also have the noreve pouch. All the holes align perfectly.
The internal is quite soft and smooth leather, and a good fit, needs a bit of a push to get it out, but i'm not afraid of any sand/dust getting inside of it. Also, it doesn't feel bulky at all, slightly padded for the front flap but doesn't really add bulk to it. Feels really good in my hands. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
edit: Just wish it would cover the left bottom corner, but still a very good case.

Some pics of the case. Sorry pics aren't so clear, handheld shots with room lighting but you should still be able to see the alignment and the design.

Noreve Pouch
I have just received my pouch. It is just what our HD deserves.
I Absolutely recommend it.
Questions about Noreve case
Hey people, I had some questions about the Noreve case:
1) I was about to get the Piel Frama case until I read that the holes don't align with the cameras, speakers, etc. Are you sure the front camera isn't obstucted by the Noreve case? And have you taken a pic with the main camera with the case on yet?...it seems like the pics would end up darker since the hole in the case isn't exactly flush against the camera. The same with the light sensor...does the case cause a shadow over the sensor causing it to think you're in the dark and dim the backlight?
2) What's the quality of the belt clip? I will have to use it everyday, is it something that can easily break? I know Noreve had a very cheap belt clip in the past and were supposed to change it, but is this one as good as the Piel Frama one?
3) I can't tell by the pics exactly...does any edge of the phone stick out beyond the case? It seems like if you drop it on the right corner, it could possibly hit the phone...
Thank ya.
My Noreve flip case should be here today or tomorrow. Piel Frama is nice, but at $110CAN, it's too pricy...and I've had Noreve before, they make very good quality cases. The flip is $45US and along with there new fangled METAL belt clip, cost was $77CAN to get it here.
I choose Noreve because I don't like the closing part of the Piel Frama because I cannot use the headset, the case doesn't have a hole for headphone jack.
My Noreve case was arrived today and I'm very happy with it. It fits perfectly.

are all the holes flushed with the device or is there gap causing a shadow? I'm asking because this could interfere with the light sensor and camera...

My english is not so good and because of this I upload some images in order to see it.
i'm sorry, i thought you had the flip case. thanks for posting the pics
decided on the Noreve
Well, after spending way too long in determining the best case out there for the HD, I decided on the black Noreve flip case. I decided against the Piel Frama case bc the holes didn't align with the phone properly and it had a plastic belt clip connector as opposed to the metal one on the Noreve (however, both belt clips are plastic).
I found a 15% discount code for noreveUSA that you can use online or over the phone: Holiday15. If for some reason that code doesn't work, there's a 10% discount code that I know works bc they gave it to me: Cardme.
For those who decide on the Piel Frama case, the cheapest I've found it to be was here. It says $59 but when you add it to your cart, it automatically gives you a discount so the total with shipping is about $54.
Hopefully this helps...I'll let yall know how I like the Noreve when it arrives
Piel Frama holes do fit
All,
I have the piel frama black leather flip case and the holes do align perfectly, granted I have the black case, I am quite happy with my case although at the bottom of the screen / call hang up back button there is a small curve showing the base bevel slightly... as you can see in all previous pictures of the black flip case.
maybe the tan case previously discussed was a one off??
Well after looking at both of these as I said at the start I went for the Noreve flip case since it was better quality and did not have the annoying button on the back for attaching to your belt.
Any other screenshots?
Are the ones you have magnetic or have a button clip?
Piel Frama screenshots

As U can see - it's perfect

Which button? Leather from the P.F. is better quality then the Noreve. I dont like the "plastic look" from the Noreve.
Does anybody know if there'll be a pouch for the diamond 2 like for the diamond? Or simply will the Diamond pouch fit the diamond 2?
the diamond 1 pouch does not fit the d2
Don't think there is an official pouch, pdair have quite a few different ones available tho.
G
If you look at the Tracy & Matt unboxing video, its shows an HTC Pouch in the box. However, everyone so far has said it doesn't come in the box. Conclusion? I think there is/will be one, but it will a separate purchase like the with the D1.
I've been looking at the Beyza pouch for the Samsung Pixon. The Pixon has identical size stats to the D2 (well its 1mm wider), so if its just a pouch you are after, that may fit the bill.
Pdair are now selling a vertical pouch without belt clip, just ordered one myself.

I was looking at that too. I just want something slim and simple to not add bulk so it can slip in a pocket. Can you let us know what you think when it arrives?

Not sure how long delivery will take but will do when I get it.
Horizontal Pouch, HTC Brand
I bought this one: http://www.negrielectronics.com/touch-diamond-leather-pouch-p-2424.html
It is a Velcro closure and the phone does not fit well. further, it does not have a hard side to protect the touch screen. I assume this is a general case by HTC. I bought this, but I will probably continue to use the case from my Trinity, the fit is the same but this at least has some protection on the sides.
In a word, Disappointed. I am not sure why they skipped the case, and then fail to offer a decent one at launch time.
http://www.noreve.com/index.php
Looks like Noreve are going to do one too. Expensive, but nice, classy cases. See upcoming products at bottom of web page.
Asia model comes with those pouch similiar to original Touch Pro.
http://www.eprice.com.tw/mobile/talk/?prod_id=3306&tid=4110889
Just be aware of these pouches
I did not get one with this or the TD1 ... with the TD1, the original one went on stock very quickly and I bought it for almost £10!
While the fitting was slim and snug, I couldn't help thinking that the tight fit had potentially caused light scratches on the rear (front I was not bothered as it had the protector on)
On the day I sold it, I did a very intensive clean on it and noticed there were indeed scratches that corrosponded with the pouch.
It only takes a small bit to be trapped in the pouch - you then slide the TD1 in and that bit goes down with it
I still don't know however what I want for my TD1, at the moment, I am using the original Ipod velour case that was bundled with I think the original 20gb ipods!

Yes, I prefer this pouch too. Unfortunately the HTC designation of that pouch is not mentioned on their website (i.e. the HTC PO S390 as for the D1), so a purchase seems to be tricky....
I just bought this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360151845729 since i want as thin as possible.
This isn't going to appeal to everyone since they aren't bargin basement cheap but I've just got one of these cases delivered this morning. I went for Nappa cowhide black B on the outside and red suede leather for the lining with no belt clip attached and hidden magnet closure. The case itself looks fantastic, stiching quality is excellent (not a loose piece of thread visible anywhere) and overall protection where its needed the most (on the screen) is hard to beat with the wrap over flap on the front. It took a couple of weeks from order to delivery, but for a case which is made to your own specification, right down to having your name embossed on the front, that isn't bad. If you want a quality product made to you want it, and personalised, give them a go, I'd definitely recommend them. They do a range of different styles so if a fold over horizontal pouch isn't to your liking have a look at the other options.
Nice, i just orderd one too
Nice cases, not cheap although they look very nice...
I have found my HTC Kaiser case that came with phone and I'll use that until something better comes along.

Got the case yesterday, it adds quite a bit of bulk so if you're looking for a really slim fit then look elsewhere, other than that it is of good quality and has a nice professional look about it so is ideal for work. It also offers lots of protection for the device.
G
@galvinize: is it possible to take the belt clip off? doesnt look like in promo pictures - but in yours.
edit: could you please take a picture with the front up - or is it just a sliding case?
I am about to buy a case for my HTC HD.
The one at BoxWave has taken my fancy, however, delivery cost is too high. The case I talk of is the Crystal case here.
The advantage of the boxwave case compared to other crystal cases (such as this one) is that the Boxwave case shows more of the front face (whilst it also protects the shiny paintwork which can scratch off) such that it is easier for the fingers to press buttons on the edges of the screen.
Question 1) Is there a BoxWave retailer in the UK?
Question 2) If not, is there some other similar clear case I can purchase (another brand) from the UK?
So today I'll be ordering a leather flip case for my X10.
It seems like it's down to the
"Noreve Traditional A Leather Case"
and
"Leather Case for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 - Book Type (Snap Button)(Black/Crocodile Pattern)"
Any recommendation as to which of these are better?
I haven't heard much about the PDairs in regards to X10's but browsing through this forum for other phones it seems like PDair has some mixed reviews.
And just by looking at it, I'm not entirely sure it'll secure the phone too well.
Spaghetti leather straps appear to hold it in place.
Sort of a G string for my X10. Possibly not what i'm looking for.
The noreve on the other hand appears to grip the phone very well. But it's a few extra dollars and i'm sure shipping will be pretty high considering I have to order from the UK. (I'm located in the USA)
I'm not sure if this matters enough to affect your recommendation but
I don't care about the belt clip quality as I will strictly use this as a case in my pocket. Not on a belt.
Bulk is not a problem. I just need maximum protection with a hard flap that will insure my screen won't get broken.
Accessibility is a plus since i'd prefer to never take it out of the case.
and having a hole for the camera is a plus.
I guess both of these cases somewhat match my needs but i'm not sure which is better nor if there is an even better choice out there.
Good people of XDA! Help me decide which case to get!
you'd better check on http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_tr...case+for+xperia+X10&_sacat=See-All-Categories (fairly cheap prices and free shipping)
I have a Norève (received as a gift) about a year ago and love it.
I need a robust case which includes a screen cover; all of my previous smartphones were retired because of broken screens.
The Norève is solid and grips the phone well. My X10 has survived my usual level of phone abuse with no nicks or scratches. There is an included belt clip, a metal one is available as an option.
There is a large variety of leather choices (mine is smooth and light blue). Each case is made-to-order in France, which sucks if you're in a rush but results in something that fits the phone perfectly.
I'm very happy with my Norève and will buy cases for future phones from then too. Slow to produce and deliver but worth the wait, IMO; no complaints at all.
