which 6.1/gps rom offers the most RAM free on reset. im using dcd 2.2.6 but its only giving me 17.5 off reset which is pretty low.
ppcgeeks is down or else id check myself, jsut looking for some feedback till its back up. no2chem's have more? (can get into ppcgeeks ftj to get the roms but no details on them there)
all the 6.1 roms are pretty much the same, the 6.0/gps ones have about 20mb on boot
DCD Clean ROM 1.6.10 = 28mb free on boot 25-26 free average through the day. Older, but you know I dont need GPS and Rev A. I have all the files you might need for Sprint to flash it.

I have googled xda and ppcgeeks and I dont see any ROMs that are 6.0 based, anyone know a name/rom version that was wm6.0 and gps+rev a?

unfortunately dcd has removed his 2.0.x based roms and replaced them with his 2.1.x based rom.

If you're concerned about RAM, you should use a 6.1 ROM. 6.1 manages RAM way better than 6.0 does.

nexvisions gives me about 20mb free...if i remove all the startup programs beside poutlook.exe and vista batt thing
and that rom includes lots of daily use apps like xm/mobitv/opera/etc check it out

it is no longer available on the forums as dcd replaced it with the 2.1.x ROM.
I am more concerned with the memory leak than anything else.

It works! and its in a cab! Works in opera, youtube, google videos, some basic flash games!
For it to work:
*Opera and flash need to be installed in the SAME place (main memory or SD card)
*Be using the newest Opera Build, 1938 ( Upgrade cab here)
*Have WM6.1 Core 20000+ (Some 19000+ builds work, and some WM6 work, but it seems to be a bit unreliable - WM5 will not work atm)
*Do NOT Use the official beta, it DOES NOT WORK
*Remove all other version of flash first, it will not work if they are installed/cooked into your rom
Other:
*If you want to uninstal it, its called Anryl My Mobile Application
*This does not seem to work with IE
*This will NOT work with opera Mini
*This does not seem to work on netfront
*The Null keyboard cab attached is to deal with the problem with the virtual keyboard poping up when you click on a flash vid, its a bit messy but works for the time being.
*Wont work with WM standard untill there is a version of opera 9.5 for it. (unless there is?)
*Seems in some cases you need to hard reset before it will work, try both cabs first though.

works great with udk diamond r8 on polaris using Opera 9.5 Build 1938, youtube takes a while to load but plays the movie smoothly
It doesn't work here. I get a white plane on the place where flash is used.
It is trying though, holding the plane brings up a flashlite pop up.

Does NOT work an Polaris with standard WM 6.0 and Opera! Websites like youtube / youp*rn / redt*be do not work for me, it always says to download newest version of Adobe Flash!

not working for me, i have a sprint touch 6.1 running opera 1938
looks like that the flash was made woth some specific settings that makes it work on the hermes
hope to se a fix so it can be used on all PPC's

I'm currently running the DCD 3.3.4 ROM (which runs great, I finally have this device where I want it) and now all i need is the V5 camera. I believe it's from the vogue. Is it just a cab file I can install? I was running SCrossler's R4R ROM and I noticed a difference in image quality with that camera software. I did a quick search but i didn't find what I was looking for.

V5 is a touch version of the camera it is way cooler but does not support the flash

I played with that camera in the loaded R4R rom and i liked it better. The flash isn't useful as anything except a flash light anyway. I just need to figure out where to get the software and how to install it. If it's just a cab I can handle that.

I know your answer is out there, and it is trying to find you. I remember more than one thread discussing the two camera versions. One talented individual was able to make installs of the two so that one camera version could be placed over the top of the other when the first one is installed as part of the ROM. Not an easy process.
If you don't find it searching here in the XDA-Developers - Titan - Upgrade forum, try searching over at ppcgeeks.com.

it was made for the touch so i would be going to that forum and asking in there.... If you use version 3.26 of DCD kitchen it is in there and you can build your roms how you like

Considerations: The Lite version its really clean giving you the opportunity customize your phone installing whatever you want. Do not expect pretty diallers, Dshow, FSP, .... Maybe with your help we can define installation packs.
Memory Stats after install: Storage in use is 2.74Mb and the Program in use is ~30.5Mb (Need update... i will post photos as soon as possible)
Known Issue:

It seems to be an issue with WM6.5 Flash packages, IE crashes too when there's a flash video on a web page...
I tried to use "old" 21051 packages : browsers don't crash anymore but no animation playing...

Do you mean you see weird icons in Explorer ? (or Total Commander) If so, just replace gwes.exe by 23001 one and everything will be fixed

Hi reverse, this ROM does not have any keyboard installed. You can install the one you need.

Yes actually I found that post one or two weeks ago and sounded really interesting... I tried to put it on my ROM but no luck I was stuck in the boot screen, so I decided to concentrate to have a stable base first. Maybe I'll give it a try again with more time.

I ment I see some strange icons in file explorer, didn't install Total Commander.
About the rom just have one question, when I take a look at settings/system/about it shows CE OS 5.2.23004 (Build 23004.5.3.0) and when i go to settings/system/device information it shows ROM Version: WM6.5-23001 WWE.
Just wondering ?

Just to say I only quote the solution found somewhere in Da_G's kitchen or PPCGeeks, can't remember exactly
What kind of memory optimisation do you use ? fsreplxfilt ? PagePool ? I've got about 46 free MB after a soft reset and about 41MB after a day of "normal" use (calls, SMSs, Opera...).

I've started to do a clean base with unwanted services and programs so each one of us can install whatever they want... But anyway this still on test phase (with good results till now ). There are many HTC stuff that I think we do not need if you want an WM6.5 core base.
The page pool I'm using 6Mb for now. More should improve everything but in other hand the number of soft reset may be bigger
fsreplxfilt I think I have 32768.
Just flashed the latest version. Seems really fast! Faster than the other WM6.5 lite versions here..
Just wondering, why does the Messaging app auto appears in the Taskbar after a reboot? I've never seen this before on other WM6.5 ROMs.
After reading this guide about ROM cooking I decided that it shouldn't be too hard to do some modifications to Bikertibi's 28014 ROM.
This is what I changed:
- Added Tetris and BubbleBreaker games.
- Replaced green Fingerkeyboard with a blue one.
- Removed "Bikertibi ROM Series" watermark from homescreen.
- Added custom boot splash with Bikertibi watermark.
- Disabled vibrate when "OK" or "Start" buttons are pressed.
Most of the changes are only personal preferences, but from I've read the reply's on Bikertibi's ROMs and 99% of them talk about the same problems or annoyances, so I decided to try to make one with less annoyances...

There are some test builds of Windows Mobile 7, but WM7 is never going to be released on this hardware. The Prophet doesn't meet even the lowest system requirements. The best we can think of is Android for this Phone.

Yes, I know. Development of this project has halted in an early stage. I realised all things this ROM has, are also possible with some custom CABs.
Therefore, I'm currently making a universal CAB with a lot of fixes and options you can select.
