OOh, nice work. I am enjoying 2.0 greatly and with a few bug fixes this will probably be my new ROM. Thanks again! I will try it out when I get off work.
I was wondering if this kitchen 2.1.0 is the best rom out there at the moment see I just recieved my touch pro and haven't unlocked it yet to install a custom rom. I keep hearing a lot of issues on certain forms people keep saying there gps doesn't work is that true if you update to a custom rom I know there are a ton of performance enhancments but what about any down sides sorry for the noob questions thank you.
manged to get it on, I tried just the clean alltel then I did the kitchen one because i wanted a few extras and it seems to run nicely but I don't have a comm manager anymore
I get "failed to read comm manager settings" so I was wondering what I needed to do. I purposefully checked it in the buildOS portion but it had the same behavior in the clean alltel version too.
Also my network is showing 3G for some reason despite being CDMA alltel?

Ahh I think I know what it is. I changed a few things with the Comm Manager and simply forgot to add a reg setting into some of the carriers. I'll post a reg fix for it when I get home from work. Sorry bout that.
Edit: Ok, first try and install the fix cab. If it still doesn't work, replace the rgu in the alltel carrier OEM with the one provided here, then reflash. Let me know your results.
If anyone on other carriers are affected by this, please let me know.
the cab did not fix it so on the kitchen ROM that I created where to I put this new file? or is it just for the clean alltel carrier ROM?
EDIT: It did fix it. I had some other items turned on that using the advanced config tool, trying to get it back, so I undid those changes and it's back
another quick question that's been bugging me.
on the touchflo3d buttons that open with the keyboard. anyway to map those to specific programs. I can't seem to do it. I've used some that map to soft keys but not to those? it does the small keys above the dpad but not the virtual buttons that come up on the landscape screen.
Can you point me to the xml or other file for those? and the little 3G thing is picky but annoying. something maybe for the next rom fix?

what do you recommend for a pagepool size. I chose YES to change it then realized I had NO IDEA what I was doing so I took the suggested 6.
I see numbers as high as 45.99
what works and what am I gaining?
optimal pagepool will depend on the make of the phone (which carrier you bought it from, not which you are necessarily using it on). If it is verizon, reports of 9 mb appear to be best. If sprint or alltell, something larger possibly around 20. The higher the page pool, the less ram, but faster the applications will load and run. Because the verizon phone has less ram, the optimal page pool is smaller.
Is this based of the new leaked diamond rom?
Is it possible to take an already cooked rom and use that as a base to add to and adjust?
thanks GC for this kitchen, its my first time flashing my touch pro since i moved over here from my titan in november and first flash went great, set my pagepool to 48mb, however i'm using sprint carrier and had the 3G icon, im reflashing with some different options and pie 6 to see what that is and ill try your posted fix cab and see if it works out, whats with the touchHD manilla and theme? can u tell me what some differences are of the comm managers?
cab didnt work for me to fix 3g, can u make a good rgu for SPCS?......any idea what the uploader is for in system settings? and how do i get rid of sprint music? and sorry if this is a noob question but how can i change my manilla theme after i've flashed? do i have to cook the theme every time?

one last thing, under themes i find the Generic one much better than the ugly sprint one im used to (i really like the touch HD but the weather tab is too tiny to read)...however with the generic theme running, my weather tab is all screwed up, it says IDS_* for every option, is there anyway to fix that? i love all the extra tabs like calender and comm settings and call history and so on, can u add some more themes in your next version?

Cannot Open Or Compose Messages
Hi All,
Having a problem where I cannot open or compose messages. When I click on a message (email from any account or SMS) using either TF3D or even just through the messaging app, it does not open. I cannot reply to existing messages or compose new messages either. It just sits on the main Inbox screen.
Any ideas?
my stock radio is a little dif than the one you have. i have the 1.03.16f is there a big difference between them

gc, saw you had been working on rom stuff lately. was wondering what a user can do to update your gc java pack with opera mini to be able to update it to opera mini 4.2 from your version of 4.1. This is based on your thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402980

Thanks for all the hard work you put into making a Kitchen for us. It’s absolutely wonderful. I do have one question though. I noticed I get an error when clicking on the touch flo Sprint TV link. I have it installed but it can't find the app. If I go to my programs I can launch it there no problem. Any ideas?

i have the same problem as alverez with sprint touch pro
has anyone had any problems with this ROM on a touch pro for Verizon? on some other ROMs i havent had any problems, so far hadnt had any luck with either googlemaps or tomtom 7. also, quickgps always gives me a connection failed when i try to download even though the download goes to 100%.

RSW's Fuze ROM
This ROM started out from the shipped Fuze ROM. I've ported the system files and kernel from a shipped Diamond CE 5.2.20764 ROM. My goal was to keep this ROM light and fast. I've removed the bloat, updated some packages, applied various tweaks, and added some additional apps. This ROM is UC compatible. See the changelog below for details.

The kitchen allows you to build your own flavor of the ROM. I have provided just the tools necessary to create a ROM and a script to automate the process. Extract the files and double-click "RSW Fuze Kitchen.cmd".
If you are looking for advanced functionality you can move the OEM, SYS, and ROM folders into a full kitchen. I personally use Calkulin's Kitchen. Download Calkulin's HTC Kitchen (v1.4) in the second post. Kitchen's like these include tools to extract ROMs, convert cabs into OEM folders, etc.

I am downloading as I write this. I will give you feedback when I get it installed.
I've released version 1.2, which includes updated drivers, systems files, and kernel that I ported from a BlackStone CE 5.2.20757 ROM. See the changelog above for more details.
WOW! Great rom, quickest I've found so far and seems to be stable. I've been running since last night without problems. Only two issues/suggestions I have, 1) Remove the default ATT contacts and 2) on some soft resets I got a message about logon for medianet. Very minor deals, since easy to delete ATT contacts and haven't had any problems connecting to medianet, just that popup before tf3d gets started on soft reset. I'm very happy so far with this rom though, I think I'll stick with this one for awhile
Thanks for the feedback. Glad to here it has been stable. I choose 20757 as it is the Windows Mobile 6.1.4 release version. By extracting it from the BlackStone ROM I was insured of unmodified files. The higher versions seem to be candidates for 6.1.5 from insiders.
I'll pull the default contacts. I use PIM backup to restore my contacts so it didn't come to mind. I have yet to see the media net logon prompt. A screen shot might be useful for helping to determine where this is coming from. If you find a fix I'll be glad to include it.

Installed this tonight. VERY good job. Smooth and stable. 1question; by default you have the right softkey in manila mapped to contacts. By chance could you tell me the way to map it to the default "programs" tab in tf3d?
Thanks for quick response, here's a screenshot of what I get on softreset before tf3d gets started up. I can either hit cancel to remove it or tf3d will get rid of it when it starts up. Doesn't seem to cause any problems. The only thing I've changed in medianet settings is changing to isp instead of wap, otherwise its default settings.

You can use either tf3d configurator or with a reg editor. Reg location is HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila. There you will see the values HomeRSKText and HomeRSKPath. Since Programs is default for manila, you don't have to have anything in them. So just make these string values empty and restart tf3d.

gotcha. Knew where to go, was unsure of leaving it empty. Thanks alot

This makes sense now. The password for isp is different from wap. Here's the information to fill in from the operator files in the AT&T ROM.
AT&T ISP

And in case you revert back to MEdia Net.

I just tested this out. If you set HomeRSKText and HomeRSKPath to "" (without the quotes) and soft reset it will revert to Programs.

Not sure why, I actually changed it using tf3d configurator app, the only thing I see different in my reg though is that I don't have the HomeRSKArguments anymore. Maybe try deleting that and see?

Are you sure there is not a space in one of them? If not I would clear out the LSK keys as well. Soft reset and you should get the default Phone and Programs soft keys. Then try reassigning your left key.

Hard-reset, as soon as it hit the today screen the first time, went in and cleared out the values. No luck. Lol this is nuts

Let's try this. I made a cab that will reset the registry values for the right soft key. Run this then soft rest via the start menu. I tested it and it worked on mine.

I didn't see it listed in your change logs. Does this ROM have MS Voice Command?
I've literally tried ever other ROM out their but this one. Every single one of them have issues, glitches, or flat out major bugs. I'm downloading now. I have a MSVC cab, but it seems to not work completely and properly with certain builds.

Concept
I was attempting to create the most complete out of the box ROM for myself and it turned out pretty well so I decided I'd share, even if only to add to the great array of choice already available to Fuze users. I had to update the build due to the time bomb in the 21009 build and decided to use this as a base. I will most likely maintain this build unless a new ATT ROM is ever released along with a 21018 build. This ROM is made to my preference so I will be releasing an OEM/ROM/SYS as well so everyone customize to their own liking. I will be updating this ROM so expect bugs, this release is to test everything as far as functionality goes so I can troubleshoot everything while I finish up the artwork to finalize the ROM.

And then that build turned out to be time bombed. So I put this together for anyone who just wants to continue to use the rom while I finish up stripping and completing it. So I started over again at 1.0 since the other version is no longer usable. Enjoy.
Instructions
Hard-SPL obviously, Flash, Hard Reset before using. Please keep this thread as clean as possible. Please edit your first "downloading/trying now/cant wait' posts when you have used the rom and post your thoughts/experiences any issues you encountered or ideas you may have. When posting an issue please post specific instructions to recreate the bug and any other information that may be helpful in finding the solution. IE: installed software, what was running, any settings pertaining to the issue and any updates or changes you've made yourself.

Flashed, Hard Reset, and went through basic setup last night, only issue so far is that Diamond Tweak bombs immediately on launch. Will continue testing. Other that that small bug so far, I'm digging this rom ALOT.

Just downloaded and tested Diamondtweak 0.5.3 with no issues. Try that version see if you can reproduce the issue and if so post your setup so I can try and recreate the problem.
This is easily one of the best looking ROMs I've seen, just a recommendation I would add the black dialer and black slide to answer cabs to make it totally sleek!
Any reason why you decided to use a Blackstone port instead of the new 5.05 build?

Once all bugs are found and eliminated I will release different flavors as a kitchen but for right now appearance is secondary as far as priorities go. I stuck with this build because it showed me the best performance so far. If there is a demand then I will gladly release a version using the official build but Ill be waiting until the build is actually official rather than leaked and perhaps wait for an ATT release. but for now when I get a chance I will post black skinning cabs that will work on this rom.

Oops, It was Diamond TF3D config. I get the standard "An Unexpected error has occurred..." message.
Other than that slight issue, This rom is the ONLY one that I've found that does NOT have a bug in the BLuetooth stack (as referenced here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=472874). You've got yourself a follower with this rom. Fast, stable, and pretty, it's got my vote!

Well this rom doesnt have that issue, but if youd like to fix that issue with that rom someone posted the fixes here

Theres just no shortcut, go into your windows directory and create a shortcut and move it to start menu.

where is the application? how can i open it?

The account manager and uploader allow uploading from HTC album to youtube and facebook. So in order to use them open album select the picture/video you want to upload click the RSK Menu and select 'Upload to facebook/youtube'.
The youtube application is not in this ROM you can install it as a cab. If you want to have it on your tf3d internet tab Ill post a cab for that. And for having facebook as a tab not possible afaik but if you'd like for it to be a shortcut on your internet tab, just make it a favorite in opera.

It will work on a tp with hard spl. However alot of the stuff is tweaked for ATT you will have some issues.

As per your signature looks like you are already started using the new radio. I have a question. I have hardspl installed and using NATF4.4 rom and my phone is ATT FUZE. Does the new test rom includes both Radio and ROM or only Radio? Even if it's just radio or both can I just flash it with out any other security unlock other than hardspl? I am mainly interested in Radio to see if GPS lag is fixed or not.

It is includes both. Trying to extract the Radio now (but it is new to me, So I am sure plenty of people will beat me)...Will post it in the Radio thread once it is done. Yes you can flash it to the Fuze if you have Hard Spl instaled..

Sounds great. I hope this new radio fixes the gps lag issue. ATT Tilt was much better when compared to gps. Other than gps lag issue I like the FUZE very much.

I have tested and verified that this is definitely a release version and has no timebomb to be patched. Voice command was not included with this SYS so please find your own. Used the one from the Leaked ATT ROM version 5.08
Why are you always using this crap rapidshare.com with all the limitations? Use rapidshare.DE instead as there are no such limits. Or use megaupload or what ever.

Only if you have a Touch Pro or Fuze, just un-RAR the SYS and ROM folders into your kitchen then cook to perfection. Only users of other devices need to port but if you have a Fuse or Touch Pro I have done this for you already.

Updated XIP and ROM to 21042
Found a 21042 MSXIPKernel and compared it to others and I believe it to be genuine but if you find that is not post a link to a genuine one.

I dumped and compared them and agree they are genuine. Keep up the good work
Im gonna check the files when i have time as my app seems to think the build version is dodgy, not saying its fake but the DSMs have either changed structure or the version has been patched, will let you know

Just an FYI - This SYS came from a official shipped Topaz ROM posted in the Topaz forum. If it seems patchy, I notice that HTC tends to patch up the shipping versions with last minute patches. I would be more suspicious if all the DSMs were all the same version.

Yeah I always get the notice that the version is patched from all HTC shipped roms I kinda agree I always dig deeper if they are all the same build and aku. The reg dsm and files all match the official source.

Yep totally same version #s across the ROM do scream "ervius DSM-Patcher" to me
Am suspecting the DSM structure to have changed tbh since an official ROM would contain the correct patterns, i cant remember if my app actually does a check for the contents of the comparison to be an actual version # or just binary data.
I'll be doing an update of the app if there is indeed a structure change.

Awesome. I always look forard to a mrvanx release
I dont know if this is fake or not but I do know that the shipped 21042 is acting differently than the leaked. In the shipped my comm manager wizards did not function properly as they did in the leaked. The OEM folder and all folders inside were the same. With the shipped version I had to do lots of editing to the rgu file in the OEMdrivers folder to get the comm manager wizards working properly.
I am pretty sure things did change from the "shipped" to "leaked". Also some DLL files have been updated with newer versions and different functions...

Have you ever thought that maybe the Topaz manilla components may be different from the Rhodium manilla components? Wasn't the leaked Rhodium rom version 21040? Just a thought I have not tested the new manilla components on this sys yet and I haven't had any problems with this build. You might wan't to go back to the 21041 MSXIPKernel that came from the Shipped ROM that was paired with this SYS and maybe that would fix the problems that you were having?
The only way to make sure a ROM is authentic is to dump it from a working unit right out of the box so when someone scraps up some cash to get a brand new Topaz I would hope they would post a dump for us to play with. You never know I may be the same as the one I posted.

I was referring to the Rhodium Comm Manager, Topaz Wizards and how they were acting with the leaked 21402 and the final from Topaz. Not the manila.
FT Time (file time?)
OK guys I think the 21042 MSXIPKernel is either a fake or beta? After looking more closely at the FT Time on the .TXT files like MSPART.DLL and found that most if not all of these files, the 21041 MSXIPKernel has a later FT Time than the 21042 build. I pulled this MSXIPKernel from some well known 21042 roms ( I'm not naming names ) and found that they were all the same and have an older FT Time. Because of this I have concern that this MSXIPKernel is not a good one to use because somehow it is older, maybe even hacked from a older build to look like a newer one. Feel free to investigate this and prove me wrong but this discovery has caused me to become skeptical enough about this MSXIPKernel to not use it anymore.
I am a perfectionist and always searching for purity. If you care about the purity of your ROM and you are using a 21042 XIP, compare it to a 21041 XIP and see for yourself. I will be updating the first post later back to the 21041 XIP after I do some more testing.

XIP and ROM 21041 posted!
Hi All,
This weekend I carefully ported the 21041 XIP that came from the leaked Official Topaz RUU and just posted it to the first post. Like I said I don't trust the source(s) of the 21042 XIP that a lot of people are using so I decided to use the one that will be in the Diamond 2 that was just released. If you are a familiar with the process of porting a XIP, you may dump the one I just posted and see all the changes that were made. Just your typical removal of unneeded modules and updating the DRMs to reflect the removed files in the MSXIPKernel and OEMXIPKernel (version numbers were unchanged!). The drivers are the ATT leaked 5.08. I set the page pool to 20MB since this is what the Topaz now uses. Apparently the R&D at HTC found that 20MB was optimal for this chipset so who am I to argue. I must say that this XIP is fast! Please let me know if you encounter any weird issues as I have not seen any yet.
BTW.. if you use this let me know how your battery life is with this XIP

Just a quick moment to explain the "Toggle" apps in the start menu.
Several utils which can be used to change the apps at startup which are included inside the ROM

To disable the touch vibrate feature (TouchResponce) use the applet in settings.
Run the Toggle Landscape app to force landscape mode, this will clear if you open and close the hardware keyboard.
FUZE USERS: Run the Toggle Layout app in tools which will setup the hardware button entries for the fuze, run again to setup for the Touch Pro.
This ROM is a RELEASE CANDIDATE so dont expect it to be free of bugs, but also dont expect it to be unstable
This is the final elite ROM for the Raphael based on WM6.1, future ROM releases will be based on WM6.5 under the eliteROM II name

Known Issues:
Note: We will try to keep this up to date, but there may be instances where a known bug hasnt been placed here due to us not having time etc....
PIN entry pad doesnt appear at startup: Manila hides this once it is launched for some reason, we are working on a script to show it again, for now annoyingly press the "send" key which should make it re-appear.
Adding a new contact in the TF3D contacts app freezes the device: Not sure what the deal is, may be a fix in the latest xbm manila II....it is being looked into.
Manila II messaging app doesnt show entire messages: again this might be a bug in the xbm manila II package, looking into it.
UC doesnt run: fixed, makse sure you have the latest ROM.
VoIP drivers not present (causes VoIP Setup to crash and no today item): fixed, make sure you have the latest ROM

Hey guys, excellent work. Really liked RC3 and downloading RC4 now. Only one small request. Can you change the green highlights? I really like the ROMs dark feel, but the green highlights in the comm manager and other areas kinda throw it off. Or is there a way in the Raph that I can change it? Great work again guys. Anxious for a 6.5 version.

Just downloaded & flashed, and everything's looking great. One problem though, is that it sometimes hangs unusually long on the HTC splash screen on startup. Not sure why that is, but I thought I'd point it out
EDIT: Also, the bundled version of TF3D Config seems to be incompatible, it crashes with a "NotSupportedException" error when I try to start it.
Having flashed a lot of ROMs on my various HTC devices, I have to say this one took the longest to flash from RUU. I am hoping thats a good thing! Just hard reset and booting up so i hope to give some positive feedback. Thanks to all...
Thanks! This was my first Elite ROM. I've run a few others on my Fuze but for one reason or another always go back to the stock ROM, usually due to TouchFlo performance -- virtually every ROM I've tried lagged badly compared to stock. Figured I'd try something different this time. So far, I like it, with the following caveats:

I can confirm this as well.
A much bigger issue for me: no MSVC? Will there be a MSVC version, or am I overlooking it? MSVC is a must-have for me, so this would be a show-stopper, unfortunately.

I agree, as the cabbed versions never quite work right for me it seems. I am still going to test for a few days, so no worries and thanks again to the contributors of this ROM, as we owe them for more than just cooking!

I normally make a point of not going on a rant about non critical things on this forum, in fact I've very rarely ever posted but I've got some stuff that I just feel needs to be said.
For many years I've been lurking on the xda-developers forums, since I bought my first htc magician all those years ago I've been using custom ROMs from this site (and occasionally cooking my own) and I can say with absolute honesty that I've never looked forward to a release so much. Thank you elite team for the splendid work you've done on this and the last 3 builds. They have been of exceptional quality. As usual, my Raph flashed flawlessly with your latest offering and everything continues to 'just work'.
The only flaw I can spot is your work on the elite project may actually prevent me from bothering from upgrading to a Touch Pro 2.

Concur that TF3D doesn't open. I was disappointed that Pocket e-Sword still has display problems :-(
I notice that the alphabet doesn't fully display on the right when showing all contacts, but you can still easily jump to a letter.

hmm dont seem to notice the unusually long hang on htc splash on startup and since tf3d config isnt supposed to be compatible with tf3d2 i guess he forgot to get rid of it?

Gonna do a quick update to the ROM (yes full nbh update), since SDAutoRun isnt called.
MSVC was removed as there is still a grey area as to wether it is warez or not.....in the mod forum we cant make a decision so ive removed it to be sure, plenty of cabs floating around the web anyways
