Did you try the GPS with this ROM? Any updates to the GPS position lag?
Hmmm, OEM looks like 1.90.405.1 .....
i followed the instructions exactly as described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427507 and used 1.90 rom as base but the rom i dumped was 1.95.720.20. So i dunno how it could be 1.90. If anyone else wants to reconstruct it i will post the dumps too.

This the official rom version 1.90.405.1. I think there was a problem when he dumped the rom, I think he used option "a" instead of option "b" which caused the kitchen to dump the original rom not part01 and and part02 raw files.
We ned the Raw files to redump them.

After the official release of the Dopod ROM today, I think our wait is at last over.
Obviously I am reffering to the long overdue WM5 upgrade.
If the Dopod(HTC) version is anything to go by we could have:

Say, I thought it would be possible to flash the Prophet ROM onto my device after running JumpSPL,didnt work. Which tool can I use to clearly map out the differences between the two?

first of all i would like u to tell me what does an JumpSPL do...and how do we do it...secondly ANY Rom has to be of the same device...else it wont work.......an we know the difference by seeing the Rom Version,Date....etc
It skips the check for SPL and allows you to flash unsigned nbh files. The ones out there seem to be device-specific,except the one posted in the Bootflash thread. The Gene,prior to its release,was said to be nothing more than a facelifted Prophet.

This is just a 3.5MB exe file that adds arabic support to the device.
I will be testing it on ROMeOS 1.13 now.
EDIT: This is not installing on ROMeOS complaining about the GUID doesn't match the device ID.
EDIT2: Only devices from specific countries that need arabic support are eligible to download.

yeah, I also entered my s/n and it told me my dev wasnt supported.
Im gonna check this out to see if it adds some bidi support - which i need for Hebrew. The company, mobidiv also has hebrew support, but im not sure how to get it.
I was able to download that Arabic support because my HTC TP is bought in UAE. The ROM version will NOT change, mine is still 1.90.456.3 WWE, ROM Date 08/20/08, Radio version 1.02.25.19 and protocol version 52.33.25.17W.
The only difference is that now in device info ExtROM version 1.26.488.9 is now listed. Arabic is supported well I guess, even though I cannot read it!

That's for the people who bought their phone on the Internet, getting a phone with a serial number for Canada, while they live in Germany. So they cannot load the German WM6.5 update from the HTC site, they can only get the English version.
My Diamond2 has a serial number for EasternEurope, but I need a SouthEastAsia ROM version.
It's as simple as that.

I had this as well. I just stayed patient and got the ROM's later.
If you read the threads and use the search function, you will as well find a download source at HTCPedia. Just get a member (for free) and download the ROM's.

They have all the same ROM version number, protocoll number and radio version, so I guess they are all the same (and all from the same source)

As I have RUU_Topaz_S2_HTC_WWE_2.53.405.5_Radio_Signed_Topa z _61.44etc.25.35_4.49.25.91_Shipinstalled from the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=629652 so I will not experiment on other links at this moment and wait for HTC site to provide the download, if any .
