Good point, but even if you post it there, it'll get locked because there is no best ROM. Check them all out and decide which you like best.

How to do you install radios? What do I use?
I currently have RedPill V3. Anything I should look out for?

dang dude. you had to ask for a file that is easy to search and then after you get answer, you ask how do i do it? these guys do a lot of work for free and the least you could do is use search and research instead of asking questions that are really will you hold me by the hand and do the job for me too?

Seeing as how the two have their own individual sections in this forum, I would say no. If things were compatible, I doubt there would be two separate development sections in the forum. I certainly would not try flashing a CDMA rom to your GSM phone.

thx for the info, will stick to GSM section then, but CDMA development section seems to have more roms than GSM section

I accidentally flashed a GSM ROM to my CDMA Nexus S the day I was trading it back in to Sprint (returning back to stock so I could get my 3d.)
That was a royal pain in the ass to fix. The phone would boot up just fine, just the radio didn't work.
OP: Definitely stick to the GSM section.

porting it over shouldnt be too difficult.. since the hardware is the same.. you would just need to go through the file systems and replace anything cdma with gsm.. that would be your biggest hurdle.. i am porting a sensation rom and having to take out a bunch of gsm crap..
hey guys im getting my hands on a rezound that will have s off already.. and i would like to try out some roms... are there any out for testing yet?..
Rezound Development is the place you want to look.
Pretty much anything that has a [ROM] prefix is what you wanna look at.
READ before you flash anything, and the search tool is your best friend.

Make sure you get recovery flashed on there, and do a Nandroid backup! Good luck and happy flashing

lol so far i dont have any roms i can load on there for the rezound.. i tried the epic but no cigar.. no root busy box installed at all... i was thinking about loading a thunderbolt rom... what you guys think?
It won't work unless it is ported for the Rezound. Libs are different.
There are a couple of stock ones with root in the dev forum. I don't plan on posting any until I get to test it myself.
Good afternoon gentlemen.
I recently picked up a GS3 here in Thailand. Man I like this phone. I rooted it, have clockwork mod and Titanium backup. Been familiarizing myself with these and some other settings. Cant put it down lol.
I live 6 mos in Thailand and 6 mos in USA. I plan to bring this phone to America and use it there in summer. Any tips on that would be appreciated.
Model # is GT-I9300
Android Ver. 4.1.1
Kernel Ver. 3.0.31-288630
Been thinking of flashing a rom or two also. Are there ones that would work here in Thailand as well as the U.S.?
Will my version of Jellybean work in the us if I do nothing?
Thanks in advance.
Jim
Yeah, depends on the carrier. Check what US carrier supports your phone's frequencies, and you should be fine. T-Mobile should work
And don't create duplicate threads.
dude lighten up
I already took your suggestion and reported my post.

Read my response.
All ROMs will work in US, at least they should. You can always flash a different modem if you face any issues.
Question
Got it

All of them.
I WAS NOT INFORMED.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present: The first custom rom (not created by me...yet) on At&ts network.
I just received my Htc One yesterday- here is a something cool.
I will be updating this thread for a little. I claim no responsibility in creating this rom, I simply ported it. In fact, thank the guy over in the Htc One version.
Working well so far. Ill be updating this thread.
So far the issues are (but will be fixed quickly):
-WiFi
-4G Icon
-Maybe more to come
i think someone already confirmed that you can flash the international rom. No porting needed?
And did you ask mike if you can port?
I have install the international Rom in my att HTC one and everything works. I don't think you need to port anything.
