I love this phone and just flashed it over to metro pcs....but I need to know if i flash a custom rom will it ruin the metro pcs settings?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
And if you have any tips let me know....
You should be fine flashing a new ROM - I just flash a stock sprint rom to a custom on my vogue which is on metropcs - I cancelled the carrier customizations (soft reset before the customizations start) - anyway, the custom rom is great -

It's hard to find much information about flashing a Qwest 6800. Since it is on the Sprint network, could I just flash my phone with the Sprint directions and the Sprint ROM or do changes have to be made to it first?
Thanks for your help.

if you want a custom rom, i think qwest provider is a choice in my kitchen, if not ill add it.
That would be great. I'm a bit worried to flash my ROM, but I really want GPS.
I would also like to mention that I stalk you on the internet.
I have a sprint evo 3d which was flashed to reliance cdma.
I am on hboot 1.50 and rooted with htc unlock method.
Now i want to try different kernels/Roms. But somebody told me that if i flash a new rom it will affect my mms/3g settings. So i want to back up all those settings required for mms and 3g to work on reliance. Is there any way to backup? if yes then how to do and how to restore. Can those mms/3g settings be restored on custom roms?.Will flashing different cdma roms affect my carrier (chances of returning to sprint) ?
Google is your friend.

Isnt there anyway to backup those settings?
I am not going to find any rom for my carrier as it was a sprint phone which was flashed to reliance.
Where are the 3g and mms settings located in a rom?
I want those urgently. I cannot wait to flash a new ROM.
Will changing rom affects my carrier? because i have a sprint phone flashed to reliance so will it stop working on reliance after flashing a custom CDMA Rom?
Can i use this method to backup my nvram and mms/3g settings?

If yes can someone in short help me on how to backup on CDMA evo 3d?
Will my prl's for reliance and other programming get backed up too?
Can i restore this after flashing new ROM?
Hi,
I got the G3 from Sprint as a Carrier unlocked device with right to left languages to chose from settings.
Meanwhile, I flashed a custom rom (Prime GSM).
Now, I want to return to Rom stock and i would like to know:
1) right to left languages would stays?
2) What about the MSL unlocking code, Is it stays?
Thank you!
Hey guys I bought this Verizon G3 for a friend he wants to give it to his family in Europe.
I downgraded to 23C so far and want to install TWRP etc. On T-Mobile G3 it's much easier as just rooting and using TWRP manager and flashing whatever I want.
Anyways after I flash TWRP I can use any rom I want ? or the rom has to be specific for bootloader for example? on T-Mobile G3 I could flash pretty much any rom but one stock where I needed to flash modem+bootloader, then it worked fine.
Also if it safe to unlock the LTE bands? since the phone would be used in Europe that would be very nice to have European LTE bands.
Thanks!
Hello everyone,
I have tried to look for an answer to my question with no luck. I have an unlocked t-mobile galaxy S5 unrooted with stock ROM and I am with At&t. I need to use wifi calling and therefore I was wondering if I can root then flash a stock AT&T ROM on my device, and what tools I should use. I mean are ROMs cross compatible. I would really appreciate your advice on this.
Thanks
It's a shame no one has an answer for this.
I'm looking for information on this, as well.
I have a SM-G900T (bootloader unlocked). I'm wondering if I can get it to be "stock" (without the yellow Knox warning on boot) and not have the T-Mobile startup animation or apps.
