Looking for a specific ROM: - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

In the Raphael Wiki it seems that the following rom doesnt have a link:
1.90.401.1 1.02.25.19 52.33.25.17U
This is the one i have but if i can't find it, I dont DARE to flash it because i might brick it and wont be able to send it back for reparation.

I need it too...

Its there mate. OS Only. u can use the radio from other rom but make sure the version is as what u r looking for. U dont need that radio if u never upgrade / downgrade it.

What about the protocol???

the protocol is related to radio.

But what if i want to upgrade it from a cooked rom to a offical update, wont the radio matter or will the radio that came with the cooked rom be overwritten with a official update?

All except SPL (assuming Hard-SPL installed) will be updated by official ROM update package.

Tnx lads, let the flashing begin!!!

Thoes Anyone have the original splash screen where it says touchPRO??

Gosh! At least BOTHER to search the forum and READ the threads... It's no that difficult...
Good gracious!

I'm willing to help at first. But the last request is againts the xda policy (can i say like this? )

why not use 1.90.405.1? it's posted in the wiki, got the same radio, protocol AKU, OS, SPL....just the rom version is updated from .401 to .405
The splash scree you are looking for is there as well. (black background with white "Touch Pro")

Hi Guys
I am new to this forum and have a few quick question. I have purchased a i-mate jasjam. I currently have a different rom to the one on the i-mate site. Mine is as follow:
Rom: 1.31.305.2
Rom date: 09/08/06
Radio version: 1.20.31.10
Ext Rom: 1.31.305.103.
Now I want too downgrade to a different boot loader so I can unlock it. What is the best method to do this and will it work on my device. Also is there any way which I can back up the existing rom, and also should I use a different rom then the one I have as i-mate know nothing about the current rom on my jasjam?

1) Flash this ROM, it has CDL__001 (i-Mate jasjam WWE CID):
ftp://xda:[email protected]_1.20.305.3_1.20.305.104_1.07.03.10_ship.exe
2) Unlock:

Your existing rom is here, no need to back up first:
ftp://xda:[email protected]_1.31.305.2_1.31.305.103_1.20.31.10_ship.zip
You can flash ANY rom you want after you unlock:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Upgrades
thankyou very much for the fast response will try it tonite when i get home. Another quick question this will make my imate have bootlaoder 1.04. That is all i really need to do if i dont want to unlock my device is that correct cause i dont want to make it a brick then i cant get any warranty at all
After you flash the imate 1.20 rom you will have bootloader 1.04, then you can unlock safely
Ok i have tried and put another sim in my fone and it worked straight away with out having to unlock or do any thing. Is there any benefit for me to still downgrade to the different imate rom?
If it's already unlocked there will be not much benefit for you... only SuperCID if you plan to switch between different roms, but wait until the next version of the unlocker which will keep SuperCID after rom upgrades (current version 1 doesn't).
So: no need for you to do much... you're on the latest radio and your device is unlocked
I know it is so good. I can't believe that i have latest rom and it is not even unlocked. Thankyou for your help on this matter. Will this pda ba bale to support the new windows mobile when it comes out and will i be able to flash it into it?

I don't know if there will be any WinCE 6 ROMs for the Hermes in the future, but here at XDA-Developers we will put all our effort into running it if it is not "officially" supported by HTC
BTW, now we should better concentrate the efforts into running Linux on the Hermes and forget about WM6
LoL go the linux I use it at home it is better then Mixrosxxt but it is good for the pda?

Not booting yet on the Hermes, but it runs quite well on other devices like Universal and BlueAngel. cr2 is doing a great job with the Universal if you like linux you should see how it runs there!
I hope someone joins the Linux development for the Hermes soon and we can have at least a booting kernel with minimal hardware support as starting point

Ohhh cr2!!!! same Samsung CPU and patched haret!!! Must try that when I reach home, thanks for the pointer... will keep you updated
EDIT: Actually couldn't resist and tried it from work
Seems that patched gnuharet for the G500 is working fine on the Hermes, but kernel doesn't boot, it freezes at the red-eye penguin screen. I guess I'll have to tweak 'default.txt' a bit, but still have to investigate how... cr2: expect my questions on IRC soon

Flashing new Rom also changes Radio version. Will this do any harm?

This is probably a newbie question. When I flashed from the Cingular Rom 2.4.502.0 to both the QTEK 3.6.251.0 and then the 3.6.261.0 my Radio version changed from 4.1.13.22_02.45.30 to 4.1.13.28_02.67.30.
Can anyone tell me Why the difference, and does it matter? Will this harm my StarTrek?
It wont harm anything. It is just new version, probably some bug fixes etc...
where did u get the 61 from...
there is also a link to RUU_STAR100_4_1_.1.502.1_02.79.30_CWS_SHIP in the wiki

New radio ROM 1.38.00.11 (from trinity)

I've extracted the radio ROM from latest Trinity ROM and packaged here as a standalone NBH radio upgrade:
HERM_RADIO_1.38.00.11_Only_SSPL.rarThis radio has HTC_BOOT 0108 and GPS enabled.
Keep in mind that the safest procedure to upgrade your radio right now is:
Flash Hard-SPL v1.10.Oli on your phone
Flash the desired radio upgrade using the RUU package
Both steps have to be done with phone connected to computer through USB cable and activesync enabled, Des SSPL will be pushed into your phone when the RUU starts.
Remember that when flashing a radio only you don't need to hard-reset your phone, so no data will be lost.
Enjoy!
Excellent! Have you given this radio a work-out yet??
still flashing 92%
Edit: Flashed and working fine (see attached image), but still haven't seen any noticeable difference
What news with this radio ? most stable, battery ingrasse ?

Pof ,I understand 1.10.Oli will somehow protect us from bricking device by flashing a wrong radio. But since it is base on 1.04 ,so it will not support Radio BL 0108,so if I am now having 0108 here, and I flash this rodio 1.38,and I got a bad flash,I still can not repair my device. Is that right?
Radio-BL 0108 or something newer?
Hope the battery-duration will be better than in 1.35 Radio
@qvik123: If that happens you have two options to unbrick your device:
1) wait for a hard SPL based on 1.09 (which AFAIK Des will release soon), once you have it reflash the radio again.
2) You will still be able to flash an OS only because hardSPL will still keep the "fake" SuperCID on your device, so flash a OS image with KITL enabled and then use the KITL mehtod to unbrick your device with Platform Builder.
By any means, if **** happens do not overwrite 1.10.Oli with other bootloader.
Thanks Pof,you just answered the question which kept me thinking since Hard SPL released.Flashing this one,now by 30%.
flashed 1.01 oli, flashed 1.38.00.11 - no problem, BUT when I flashing/updating (or possibly bricking ) device, I like to know what exactly is a differences between versions, only one think I know about 1.38.00.11 is, that this version have GPS enabled. Thats all. Is any changelog, or list of changed/updated/improved features inside of roms? I know, that you just dump this rom from device, but it is really nice to know, if it is necessary. perhaps we should created one special thread with differences between versions, to better orientation (sorry if I miss this one, but I think at this time doesnt exist)... guys - thx for your work anyway
Thanks Pof I am going to upgrade.
ok a little lost on the process can I just download the 1.38 file and that will upgrade it or do i have to do something to the boot loader first? Sorry for the simple question.
yes, the question is really simple. but there is one more think you can do... read all this thread, and also this one. all necessary information is in there. and if you dont want to have 700$ paperweight, I really recommend to read all information about flashing procedures in wiki - here before you start. in any case of question or problem, do not hesitate to write some posts, but if anybody ask similar question like you, without some reading, which, yes, need a some time, then If somebody want to find any relevant and usefull information, must read about 60 % pointless posts... it is nothing personal, just for your info. forums is about people, and people keep forums alive.
you did not provide us any information about you current version of OS/ROM, BL version, for me it was easy, just extracted Hard-SPL.zip, runned ROMUpgradeUt.exe - after reset I have oli BL, then you can run HERM_RADIO_1.38.00.11_Only_SSPL.rar.... there is much much more knowledge about that, so try wiki first, it is only for you own good.

Yes definatly read the wiki etc... but also do as sinmae has done and load a HardSPL first, this is especially relevant when flashing radios.
@pof are you also running a HardSPL based bootloader??
...can somene put this ROM on Rapidshare or somewhere else, cause XDA FTP is not working

Unfortunately HTC keeps this information private, so there's no ChangeLog.
The radio was not dumped from a device, but extracted from 1.23.408.1 Italian Trinity ROM.

The download server was down now running!!!!!
Just upgraded to radio 1.38 from 1.35 and I am running xdalive first release WM6 on O2 3g. Since the upgrade I am pretty sure the phone signal is now stronger as I have tested it in areas around my home and outside that got no signal, especially near my pc. I can now make a call next to my pc with 3 bars on the signal meter! The signal does not drop so much, I will test further and report back any problems, but so far so good.
Please let me know how you get on.
Can somebody compare the battery duration between this Radio and 1.34?

I will let you know on that one as I had it fully charged for the radio upgrade. I will keep an eye on it and report back.
I was about to down grade my radio back to .1.27 or earlier beacause of my UTMS reception in Brisbane (AU) and also the battery life. So i will also let you all know how this goes.

O2 XDA Star Original ROM?

Hi, i have to send my device to o2 Germany Service. Can please somebody tell me what Radio, Protocol and ROM Versions are shown on the startscreen by the original device?
Thx.
p.s. tried to use search, but found nothing...
p.p.s. really need help...
On mine it used to be this radio: 1.58.21.23
I am not sure about the system, but there is a thread for original Roms around here with a german o2 dump ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=368284 ). That should be fine. Don't forget to get rid of the SPL too...
mblaster
sure, i've flashed original ROM and SPL, but this is what i've got on a bootscreen.
I dont think, it's ok...
You still seem to have radio version 1.71.09.01. Your phone should not work properly with that one (ok, obviously it doesn't anyway, but the service could notice that). This stock rom needs radio version < 1.65.x.y. So you need to do SPL again to flash the older radio.
Unfortunately I dont know the exact output on the bootscreen for a xda star that has never been flashed, but there may be variations in any case. I dont think the service will notice something if you have the right radio version, a stock rom and no "security unlocked" message in the bootscreen, perhaps someone can confirm this?

Hey guys,
thank you very much for the hint about the original German Windows Mobile 6.0 HTC Nike ROM.
I checked that one and it's working fine with HardSPL.
Nevertheless I wasn't satisfied yet so I was looking for an updated ROM and I was successful.
I found an original Windows Mobile 6.1 German ROM and that one is working fine as well.
Due to the fact I hate Rapidshare I have also uploaded the ROM to MegaUpload.
Here they are:

Downgrade SPL to 1.42

I have a Tmobile HD2 with SPL 2.10. I am trying to downgrade it to 1.42 so that way I can install HSPL and flash my Radio rom to the latest version.
How do I downgrade my SPL to 1.42 in order to install HSPL?
Basic info about my HD2:
ROM Version: 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE
ROM Date 4/28/10
Radio version: 2.10.50.26
Also, how do i figure out if my HD2 is 1024leo?
Ignore my question above. I answered it myself by viewing this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653614
I have another question. So it seems my HD2 is a 1024leo.
1) How do I know if this rom, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=595318, is compatible with my 1024leo?
2) If I ever want to roll back to the default non-custom rom, is this possible? If so so where do I download the original stock rom? And how do I make sure I am downloading the compatible one so I don't brick my phone?
yes you can rollback to stock rom just download it from http://www.htc.com
and you will know is it compatible with your phone because to download stock you have to neter your serial wich tells htc that you have a tmous

Where do I download the stock ROM?
Also, as for custom ROM how do I figure out which one is compatible with my HD2? I don't want to end up bricking it. I remember reading somewhere that since my HD2 is a 1024leo, I can't flash certain radio roms and custom roms. How do I know which ones I can't flash?

lmao, you can tell because the first sentence says "These roms are TMO-US compatible."
Your phone = 1024leo = tmous = TMO-US

you are in the wrong forum. This is the forum for the regular hd2, you need THIS tmous specific section. Go there and read, read some more, then read again. This time next week you will know all you need to know.
The most important thing for you to remember is NEVER NEVER NEVER flash ANY stock rom that is not for the tmous, and NEVER NEVER NEVER flash any radio that has a 51 in the version. Example 2.07.51.x radio will totally destroy your phone. (See the first few posts in the tmous radio thread.)
