Glad to hear it, I've been waiting for a full port for some time... are you plannign on resizing the graphics to adjust to the TP's resolution? While all of the ports thus far are commendable, the weather tabe especially has suffered from crushing of graphics. I don't minfd lending a hand if you need help with the imaging side of it, send me a PM if you want a hand (although I am sure you are more then capable!)

well it's already being ported to vga from duttythroys blackstone rom so you might have to wait until the devs who is working on this has managed to do so..

freaking Rhodium has lots of goodies to implement I don't think Dutty will share it The new manila also has a different engine than with Blackstone and Quartz.

well im not a pro but eventhough he doesn't share it, the manila files are still manageable to be ripped from the rom he shared.. well anyway i was at this thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470164
xboxmod got his hands on the manila files through dutty (or thnx to dutty).. well blackstone and Quartz were managed to be ported to vga and well eventhough the new manila has a new engine makes it all more fun for devs to port it. well this means they might have to rescale some of the visual stuff and so forth as they've done with the original HD manila to make it work for TD and TP,...

yeah I got that already and I see lots of new apps from HTC-- it's a new challenge though to even launch the manila.exe file. It seems the pop-up keyboard method doesn't work anymore.

well all the more challange to make it work... well i'm sure the devs who are working on it will find a possible way to make it work.. the new manila has much more new features, meaning not only visual but in the scripts too.. well i'm not rushing anyone as i do know how long time and how difficult such work can be and i'm greatfull for everyone who is working on it..

but how come the bottom bar doesn't show...in portrait i understand why...but in landscape it should show and home notifications too...

yes i ahve been using it, very useful, but no need for it to be in a kitchen as it re-locates modules and as of yet we cannot create modules and the ones there would be already relocated by me

Off topic, but I do not care for Alonso, either... Hamilton is a breath of fresh air and F1 needed it. Too bad about our boy Scott Speed, though... I would have liked to see him in a more competitive ride.

Well the perfect rom won't come i think.. You can only cook a perfect rom by youself if you want it perfect as everyone is different and use their PDA's for different things, and therefore needs different software.. But it should be possible to get really close.. Iam using Prophet Shadow and i think it is allmost a perfect rom for me.. But to be perfect it would need Korand's roms speed and some apps that i use..

The problem is that diferent users needs diferent things, the perfect ROM shouldn't include a program in ROM that you know you'll never use. The only perfect ROM is a kitchen ROM.

I don't agree at all. The perfect rom would be just one that was bug-free.
I keep balancing between different roms because they all seem to have one fundamental flaw which isn't found in the others. The Touch series was pretty slow, sometimes unstable (for me) but functional, Crystal had unstable wifi and certificates problems, Shadow has a problem with the buttons in media player and k0ster's superfast rom has had bluetooth issues (these may now be fixed) and has now lost part of Office.
It would be wonderful if the great rom cookers could get rid of the bugs between them and then we could choose between different versions according to what they looked like or the included apps. Today its like picking the one which doesnt break functions too much.
Before you start on me - I know full well that people cook roms in their own time and I'm more than grateful for their efforts. I just don't get why they're still all broken.
The Perfect Rom will appear when the planets align, when the sky goes red and death drops from above!!!!
But seriously you can only make your perfect ROM yourself everyone has different expectations. Me personally, I like the Crystal v5.0 it seems stable only had one problem (that was solvable) so other than that you can’t go wrong.

Let me say that Da9L, WhiteWizard and jspacemarine have the opinion that the perfect rom is a rom with the apps that we need pre-installed.
Why ? Do we have that on i386 SO's ?
NO, i like to tweak and install the apps in my way, but with cabs in ppc.
Now littld have a better aproximation to the problem in my opinion.
A clean and 100% bug-free Rom, that is my point. Not a Rom with apps pre-installed, because i have brains and can install the apps my self.
The reference should be an official Rom, and when achieved, we start from there.
But that is me, and with that in mind, can you believe ?

That's not what iam saying.. Iam saying that the perfect rom dosn't exist because everyone is different .. As an example my perfect rom would be with all the software i use pre installed and bug free.. But that would probably not be a perfect rom for you.. Which means that the perfect rom dosn't exist..
BUT a bug free rom would be the most perfect rom you could get, that would be perfect for everyone..

But I-mate, qtek and others decided to not upgrade prophet to wm6, when we all know that he have nice specs. Market strategy or they know that wm6 would never fit on prophet like Vista does not fit on a pentium I.
The question is more like,
Do you think prophet can be 100% WM6 compatible. Not requesting a costumized rom.
Perfect or not perfect is just about need of something..
Perfect Rom for someone is not same as the others..

i dont think they are making a rom for the phophet i heard that it is a discontinued product, the software anyway (not 100% on that though so don't quote me)
The perfect rom is the one I have on my Kaiser it's the same rom that I flashed first time when I flashed Kaiser with my own rom and it has staied since just made a few updates with the new camera that opens Album by default and then added this app ThrottleLauncher

JstarLuvsTina, if a ROM with Manilla 2D cooked into it speeds up my Pro the way it has transformed my old Elf, I'm happy to try a bit of 'backwards' ; ) With Onyx's 4.2 ROM my Elf is actually faster in certain ways than the standard ROM is on my Pro : (
What is geotagging/footprints??
Basically a new feature that will be on the upcoming "Touch Cruise" which allows you to take a picture/audio/etc. and sets it to where you are at. Some public tracking programs such as "bliin.com" allow you to do this by taking a picture and uploading it so others may see your photos and where they were taken at.

the footprint feature may only be for m2d....plus m2d is lightning fast...lightning...lol
and if u want to know what footprint is....just do a little searching around in the wm news sites ual find it .
i personally like m2d better than 3d.....but thats just me

turns out that the pagepool size was way wrong for the Titan devices
max should be 8MB .. default is 6MB and 4MB has proven to work
great during my testing as well .. but the damm thing was set to 12MB!!
WM6.5 beta has a 12MB PagePool I reduce it to the default 6MB for Titan's..
if you still need more RAM you can reduce it to 4MB everything still seems to work
well even at 4MB pagepool until is included..
With this new setting we NOW have 20.5+MB RAM Free with Titamnum
turn OFF, and with Titanium turn ON 17.8MB Free .. (I will try and get that up to 20+ as well)
NOTE: because of all this FREE memory I built Beta 4 with Titanium turn ON
you can however turn it back off and gain 3.5MB back .. and with a 4MB pagepool
up to 22.5-23MB Free ..I have included the pagepool 2.2.1 in the RUU .. have fun..

That was fast, yeah love to test. CR2? Maybe I cld check the post that mirrored CR1, otherwise it's just nowhere.

hej looks good funny thing is that on o home screen a see squares no words
and is little slow with opennig start or app using hardware buttons
any way good job an i hope this beta ver. is gonna be better an better looks like this is windows mobile 7........
I like the today screen. That has the hexagons like the original Windows 7 screen shots. This is the one I was waiting for, but way too buggy right now.
There is no CR2.

damn, you sure are impatient! ive seen the other posts that you have done on THIS thread and you do know that you are being pushy off of something that:
1) IT IS FREE!!!
2) you know it is at a BETA VERSION!
3) is being developed by people that have THEIR NORMAL LIVES (FAMILY, jobs, etc., etc.)!
See the thing is, I dont see you helping to make any progress, so why demand on something you are not working on? And i know it was a joke on this thread, but on other threads it wasnt!!!!

Well, I do not know how to paint and painting is quite expensive to me, so i covered my Blue Angel with a layer of color paper (some kind of paper, I do not know what it is called in English).
Not really as perfect as painting but it is still good and cheap (just a little bit more than $1 in my country if you have to pay someone to do it for you) and fast (around 5 minutes or less).

I did install some cabs i found on this forum (edited one that change the startmenu) and made one cab to change the titanium screen.
I can cook it for anyone who need it because the cabs i used are quite easy to be used for cooking . However, since I did it for my own purpose, I did a full backup to save time (I still have to make a backup if I flash a cooked ROM as I have many things on this device)

I do and it looks great with the paper coat that you put on the BA. My BA looks like it was hit by a bus at this point in time . If I had to call mine anything, it would be a BUBA (Beat Up Blue Angel)

On the top left of the page you will see User CP. Click on it and check the side pannel. Play with it a bit and you will get it eventually.

I saw some of your other "work" on the videos. Planning on releasing any of that anytime soon? I would love to write a couple of articles for these (giving you exposure in the process )

did you use scotchlite to wrap it up? that's really neat..
