My Carrier is??? Help me please - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

Hi, excuse me my english, i am from Venezuela, i can flash my Titan with Titan Reloaded 1.42b2 it works fine , but i can't use Evdo data service, i can connect but i can't open a web or use MSN, before i tested others Roms and i can use my service data anyone know about this:
"Remember to add your Carrier CAB after loading!! (well if you have data service anyways)
Link to dcd1182 Carriers cab's.. Thanks dcd..
DCD Carriers CABs"
I try with Verizon and sprint cab, but only happens the same, i check my epsc configuration with another phone and my dates are ok, any suggestion??

Who do you pay for your service?

I Can Pay with cards , the company name is Movilnet

Anyone can help me? or any idea? i really need use the EVDO service again, ther are other bugs in this ROMS i can't send files by bluethoot and Beam Neither.

Well, unfortunately, I do not have a good answer for you. DCD has never (as far as I can read through the forums) gotten his hands on a ROM from Movilnet. Since he hasn't gotten a ROM from them, he has not had a way of making a carrier cab for them. The only chance you have now is to hope and pray someone here has a Movilnet carrier cab. If they do not, you might have to return to the place you bought the phone and have them flash it back to the prebuilt carrier ROM. Then you will be able to extract the needed information for the carrier before overwriting it with a custom ROM.
Good luck!

What ROM to use and how to customize 8525 for T-mobile USA

I have SuperCID unlocked cingular 8525 (HERM 100) with a standard shipped ROM. I am curious if somebody can advise on what is the most suitable ROM to use with 8525 to get all T-mobile USA features and settings for network and MMS?
If the ROM does not matter - is it possible to export all network and MMS settings from my other phone which is T-mobile Dash (HTC S610) to achieve that goal?
I know it's a matter of personal choice (which ROM to use)- but I was thinking if there are some proven ways to get it done right. Thanks.
The rom doesn't matter. I've used a number of them. I don't know about the export. But, here are easy to install cabs with all the t-mobile settings:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311446
In the beginning of that post by Lurch3559 (with cab settings), he is saying "Please ensure that you delete your old settings before installing the cab, It would also be a good idea to write them down."
Do you know where (under what tabs) on the phone should I delete those settings?
I have Tmobile and just have the WM6 Pro Build 17994.0.3.1 and OS 5.2.1437. I downloded the ROM for Cingular 3.57.502.1 and I am just modding and having fun for now. I have a couple iphone things, changed the splash screens, adding new cabs, and just messing around with it first.
After I mess around with my phone for a little I might look for a different ROM to try.
@juzzie: On the Hermes they are located Settings>Connections>Connections>My ISP
This might be the same for the Dash. If not, this Forum also has a section of threads for the Dash U could check.

new to this - THINK I've done the research and got it?

Hello, this is my first post her and my first experience in doing this.
I bought a 6800 off of eBay, It is the CDMA version w/ GPS, a Bell Mobility phone. I was under the impression that MTS (Manitoba Telecom Services) was still aligned with Bell, but it turns out that hasn't been the case in over 6 months, so now I may as well try and hack my phone. They don't use the same data lines anymore either.
I took it to MTS to get it activated. The calling and text messaging works just fine, but the data part does not work AT ALL. It gives me an error message "Can't connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings. If the problem continues, reset your mobile device according to your manufacturer's documentation and try again."
I've been doing some reading on the wiki and other posts here, and it's a lot to absorb for someone who is completely new to this. I THINK all I have to do at this point is unlock the phone, change the carrier to MTS, and enter the akey (which I could possibly get from MTS).
Does this sound about right? I realize I could put a custom ROM on and a new Radio ROM, but if I don't need them just yet I would rather see if this will work.

i feel a custom rom is the first thing to do to these phones.... sorry cant help with the other questions......
Can you call them and find out how their data connections work?
Like with me, for Sprint, I have to dial #777. You might just have to edit your connection settings
Can't speak directly to MTS, but on VZW, what I do is an esn change off the phone to my backup...flash the custom rom, then esn change back. This takes care of akey and provisioning.

Go into your connections folder. Settings-Connections-Connections.
Click Manage Existing Connections.
Then if you have Data Network there, click edit.
Name doesn't matter. Number should be #777. Username should be [email protected]. Pass should be vzw.
Click finish. Hold over the connection and hit connect. See what happens. If it says you have the wrong password try programming your phone via *228. Try option 1 or 2.
Tell me what happens.
Tyler
Verizon or sprint
Is this settings for verizon or sprint?
Haha. Good catch. I forgot you were on Sprint. Sorry, I don't know the correct settings for sprint. But you could still look in the connections section and see if everything that should be filled in, is.

Help
Ya i hope someone does Help anyone who can solve this problem
On the reload 1.3.4 under documents is scott rom pack and after installing it . You can install carrier under documents\scott rom pack\carriers.
All I have ever had to do is install carrier cab and open url. Running iota under phone services after install of carrier cab works also.
Maybe a bad flash?? Have you tried hard reset and reinstall carrier cab?
If you know your [email protected] then you don't have to install carrier cab. You can add connection #777 with user name and password that was set up on your original contract with sprint. Maybe you can call sprint for that, I don't know I never have had to.
Did you change anything under ##778# ?
Thanks alot matt
Also i noticed you had a different radio rom then me and i was wondering if thats better then 3.42.02 and also why is it that you have two roms one that
that reloaded beta and the 1.3.4 one

I have the newest radio version available. Really have not noticed too much difference. I would upgrade though.
I have two roms listed because I can hit the camera button and switch between roms. LOL not really I have two phones.
Oh haha but i just ran into a problem iota works and allows me to use data services, but then if i just leave my phone alone for awhile my data services wont work and i have to run iota again

Getting data on a Sprint to Alltel TP

Can any body help me with getting data to work, I got my brothers sprint Touch Pro activated and working on Alltel except for data connections. I`ve been going off of this tutorial http://www.smartphonejunkie.com/showthread.php?t=177433 since i can`t access the thread at ppc geeks.
I`ve gone by that thread there and also copied all the settings from my working Alltel Touch Pro in QPST and loaded them on to my brothers phone, and changed the setting to his phone numbers etc... I still can`t figure this out.
I would suggest trying the dcd alltel carrier cab...I don't know where the originals are but you can find them here http://www.smartphonejunkie.com/showthread.php?t=180585
The post was part of a Private group. What exactly does the cab do?

[Q] Titan 2 Stock/Generic ROM- Help Please.

After reading up on the Titan2 and experiencing the difficulty to get MMS working on a non at&t sim-card, I have come to the conclusion that it cannot be done, Is there a way to flash a stock unbranded ROM for the Titan2 to enable the connection set-up to work? Does a stock ROM even exist? Or could a Titan ROM work on the Titan2? I don't need 4G or LTE, Any help would be much appreciated
Attached About Screen.
Thanks in advance.
Received a reply from HTC UK today, Not good news, Looks like I will be getting rid of the Titan2, Damn shame as I preferred it to the Titan
Dear Andy,
Thank you for your email regarding your HTC Titan II.
My name is David and I am a Technical Support Agent for the HTC Written Team.
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing some difficulties setting up your MMS settings for the O2 network on your phone.
I understand that this phone was originally branded to the been branded to the At&T network. I believe the reason you are unable to change the MMS settings on your phone is because your phone was originally branded to the At&T network. Phones that are branded (locked) to specific networks usually have their operating system (Windows) slightly customised to that particular network. This would include the MMS settings as well. Because the phone is unlocked, you will be able to use any other other SIM card to make calls and send SMS messages. However, unlocking the phone does not neccessarily override the pre-installed MMS settings.
In that case Andy, it may not be possible to change the MMS settings on this phone.
Please contact HTC US for further support on this issue as HTC UK does not support this phone.
I do apologise for the inconvenience this may be causing you.
