I flashed my X7500 to AP 4.0 today and my Radio and Wifi don't seem to work..
i tried cmonex's techniques to make wifi work , but i get errors. also i do no have my original MAC address and i'll be using my NOKIA E90's ...
i do not know how to flash radio 1.57 [since i'm guessing that will make it work] , assistance much obliged!..
please help me get these to work!!...

as per topic, i can use my ppc as a pc but not at all as a phone, and i d/l'd WM2003SE under the himalaya section of buzzdev.net and yet still no go, i have tried various ways short of obtaining my old 2003 (non-se)
im going crazy, so many little error's i've gone through lately and gotten over most so far, but my radio rom and being unable to upgrade/ downgrade/ flash modify at all, i don't know why, i cant connect to the ppc via activesync so i can't use getverdata or whatever app it is... in simple words i need help with my radio rom, how can i def. edit it, cause iwth hima upgrade i can't seem to.get it working.. boh i dunno it's sending me crazy

i have an O2 XDAII, just the normal version, not XDA IIi, not XDAII mini or XDAIIs
i've fixed my OS to WM2005 BUT can't seem to fix and keep getting error 114 (radio rom upgrade error) which im currently trying to overcome.
Also, could it be something with my bootloader, i only run 1.02 or something (will change later if i'm wrong, but i dont think i am, currently trying another flash atm)
do i need a new bootloader, or should i not bother trying cause this probably wouldnt help fixing my problem?

Sounds like a major problem. I haven't tried restoring the bootloader from an SD card so I couldn't give you any direct advice. I'm sure someone with the expertise will be able to help you further.
Downgrading may help but I haven't done this before either.

Your Radio ROM chip is probably faulty.
Had the same problem (read here)

I recently upgraded my Cingular 8125 (G4 version) to WM6 Farias edition. I've also installed the radio rom version 02.61.11 but noticed that at times call do not come in and when voicemails are left i do not get a notification. Dont know if its due to the radio version i'm running so i decided to ask the rest of Cingular 8125 users to see if they have a radio rom that may be more stable.
I also noticed that GRPS disconnects when a call comes in and it re-connects when the call its released. I've heard of certain radio roms that actually stay connected while the phone its been used... anyone knows which one will that be?

The T-Mobile 2.19 radio is the one that most use to alleviate missed calls/voicemails. The newer ones have benefits to signal aquisition and signal strength over this and stock radios, but what good does that do you if the calls and voicemails dont come through
There are some on Cingular in the US that have radios above 2.19 working with no issues but they seem to be few and far between.
I have also not had any issues at all with the 2.61 radio with Faria's rom in my signature. How well it works with other roms I don't know as I haven't flashed my wizard since I flashed that combination on it. My wife uses it now and has had no call issues.

I downloaded the tmobile 02.19.11 radio and tried to flash my phone with it but got the following error message:
ERROR [300]: INVALID UPDATE TOOL
This update utility cannot be used for yoru PDA phone. Please get newer update utility.
I've gotten several replies from other Cingular 8125 users who like you have told me it'll fix my sms/voicemail problem.
I just tried installing Cingular_2.25.11_Radinly.zip and i got the same error message:

I'm loving WM6 but the fact that some calls dont come in and I have to continously keep checking my voicemails to see if new vm came in pretty much sucks.... I'm considering going back to the stock rom since i cant get neither radio version to work on my phone...

Have you tried running it from more than one computer? I have seen where this works for some people. Also try a soft reset of the phone and a reboot of the pc before attempting. If that doesn't work you can try booting straight to the bootloader then kicking off the install once you see USB in the corner. In any case you should be fine on WM6 if you can get the 2.19 radio to flash.
I just tried another PC here at work. I installed MS Activesinc 4.5 and tried flashing it with 2.19.11 but same error message.
I'll continue to try and post any progress (if any) LOL
I"m going to try reseting the phone and restarting the pc now.

Done deal!!!
Finally got it to Flash using the Tmobile UK 02.19.11 version.
I replaced the ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe with the one included in the WM6 Faria Step 4 folder.
Ran the update utility and it flashed the phone without a problem.
Time to test it but i've gotten several replies stating that it should be a lot more stable than the one i had.

I just upgraded to Irus full Rom and 1.57 radio. Many thanks to Irus - it seems to be a very fine ROM.
However, now I am not able to send a file to my Ipaq 2755. I can establish a partnership on both devices. When I try to send a file (like PIMBackup_20080810) the HTC screen says it is sending a file but the Ipaq never receives it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I upgraded my radio to 1.58 and the problem was solved.

So, I have a 8125 T-mobile MDA Wizard. It is unlocked. It is currently running CR96 TouchHD v6.5.0.3.3 RC5. I have tried flashing it with TNT.19199 version 2 (Fixed Version) OS 11.0.1.1 and WM 6.1 20273 HORNET 5.1A. However, when trying to flash my device with either of these roms, I recieve a message from the updater saying that itwon't work and that i need to use a new updater(?!??!) I am very confused. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have also flashed it with the Wizard Love rom before each flash. I am also having issues with my wifi. It will turn on, and detect my neighbors WEP enabled access points, however it will not detect mine even though I am 4 feet away from it. I have gone through the proxy settings, and still no luck. I read in another post about a corrupted wifi eeprom? is that a possibility? once again, any help would be greatly appreciated
*edit: also what is the deal with all of the different radio (roms?) software upgrades? is there really any point in messing with that?

If you’re getting a good signal there is no point in messing with the radio.
ok, then what about the update issue? I mean when I try and reflash it, it says that I need a new updater. Will using a shelltool fix this for me even though my device is CID unlocked?

i flash a stock rom and after one day the phone died.
I tried with another ROM,stucks at 0%,with the card method the same,if i try with hspl same,task 29 same,change radio same....
What should i do?

GSM Problem
i have a problem sinch i flashed the origional wm6.5 stock rom with an andriod rom for the first time, i went back to windows rom but GSM only Rdio does not work, when i choose 3G only, i have 3G Signal, but again a week signal, i do not know what to do, i flashed latest radio, still the same. At the same time Camera does not work. Camera HW is ok because it works under android. please help!
