Because you are new I will go easy on you.
Basically ROMs are quite a personal thing. There are many available here and they all have their plus & minus. Suggest you do some reading about them and decide which one would work best for you. Do some test flashes and run them for a week until you decide which one you would prefer.
Mods will close this thread very quickly as many of them have been started and they are really of no value to the community.

read the stickys on flashing a ROM first......that'll give you the education you need to start your way down the rom flashing road.
Why are we having this discussion AGAIN?! Oh yeah, because someone with only 2 posts doesn't want to spend an hour reading but wants to get quick answers to questions that have no easy quick answers.

I have FUZE and this are my favorites, but please try to read, I know You are anxious to use Your PDA with a new ROM but believe Me its worth the reading!, Anyway welcome to the comunity! this is my personal advice:

You have a diamond pro? What are you doing in Raphael section
Mmm diamond pro, I guess he means htc touch pro, and htc touch pro is the raphael one
the O2 version of touch pro is really called diamond pro! but it is ofcourse a touch pro aka raphael

You know, that's probably a good idea . . . name the thread something like "[RES] How to find the best ROM", and have hilaireg's post as the first one. Maybe that would teach all the n00bs something.
Start from the top of the list....the "Wallaby" and flash everything to the "Raphael"
I'm pretty sure you'll find something you like along the way......
The next person who starts one of these "What's the best rom to flash" threads should be banned or thrown a virtual blanket party!

Go to your carrier's website and see if they have it. If they don't (which I believe that to be the case), then you have to go with someone's cooked rom.
no upgrade
There is currently no official stock upgrade to wm 6.5 for the alltel touch pro and i don't believe that there is going to be one now that we are verizon. with the touch pro 2 out they will be concentrating on that instead of the original touch pro.

LOL, yeah I am really stupid. I am a member of this forum for years and forgot to change my bookmark tfrom my old TOUCH CRUISE to the new TOUCH CRUISE 2 which I own. I even use a cooked ROM that is for the older model ( no heavy complaints so far.
BUT I want to send it in for repair and need the orig.ROM installed.
Where can I find it? I did search this forum but only in the POLARIS section is a shipped ROM offered.

Can we upgrade our Verizon HTC Touch Pro from WM 6.1 to WM 6.5? has anyone tried to do that?
Microsoft website states that only Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 is upgradeable to WM 6.5. Is there a work around?
Would appreciate any assistance or pointers, Thanks.

I have a VZW TP, have been running 6.5 since August. Seems to be more CDMA roms at ppcgeeks (they all seem to start here though!!!)
Forget about what M$ says... you can run WM6.5.x in your TP. There is a sticky on how to flash your device in this section (you can find a link to it in my signature). I would suggest that you go through the first few posts before attempting anything as you seem to have no knowledge on this area. I don't mean to pick on you, but if you are not careful, you will end up bricking your device.
So it's absolutely possible to run 6.5 on a Verizon Touch Pro? I JUST TODAY kind of broke my Diamond, and really wanted to run 6.5 on that. I think I might get a Touch Pro to replace it, since there not too expensive, and I liked the Diamond minus the super slow and goofy WinMo 6.1. Is this even worth it? also looks like the Ozone can do 6.5 as well but that phone looks kind of worse then what I had.
