i tried to work it again but all rom i have it not work
just work 2% and error (294) : invalid vender id

try hard reset, if that doesn't work-
go to xda ftp site, download the rom which came with your device and flash it with sd card method. BTW you don't communicate much!
I am assuming you have never flashed your Gene. for SD card flashing, see Gene wiki.

1.have u done HSPL if not pls ready stiky by Krazy it in this same forum it has all details and req tools
2. if u have done HSPL then tell us the ROM u flashed pls remember their are roms for old and new gene first find out wat urs is their is also a stiky on the same by ramarsonw in this forum
try all the above give more details in ur next posting and yes their are many helpfull people like addicted2XDA and they will help but give more details

2. on ur phone but also press the camera button while onning the phone
u will get tricolor screen attached ur cable and flash new ROM from ur comp i hope u have rom and rom utility with u

Shaunak, is it worth it? The guy has most probably already messed up the ONBL, i dont think he has much chances without taking it to service center.

While flashing a cooked rom on my athena,my stupid pc crashed T.T;now,when i enter bootloader the device id is corrupted,there is not written athe100,but only some points;i can only read ipl and spl version.So,if i try to flash a new rom,the program cant detect the device id and it stop at 1%.There is a way to force flashing a new rom,with right id ?Help pls!
Btw the athena still boot wm6,but the first and second screen seems to be corrupted.

Have you removed your SD card before trying to flash? The 1% hang is typical with that.
yes,never had 1.The error that rom update utikity give me is:error[244]:invalid device id.I think i only need a update utility that can skip device id check...maybe someone had this problem?^

Uhm i dont have the original rom,only those i can find on this forum.Btw i think there are not big difference.The device i have should be an advantage x7500.I already tryed too flash a new rom with pc or using a sd card,but it wont work.There is a way to change my device id?For example using mtty?Or maybe there is a way to skip id check >.<?

Hi mates. i tried to flash my G4 wizard with tnt rom. the process got error at 99% and now its only displaying 3 colour screen. and when i connect usb, there is written usb on the bottom. and nothing else. i tried a lot to unlock. but all process are saying that the device is not connected.. so please help me with this.

If that is the original Rom, it shouldn't give that error, no worries.
Your device is G3 btw. easy to unlock.

You can use one of 2 tools here
Take the nk.nbf in the ship rom(open in winrar) then put to tool and update

SO I NEED Indonesia rom,my phone is ideonesia
from my experience i can say whatever ROM you use it will give you same error.
Because hard spl have erase the model identification from you phone and update utility can not check whether this utility is ment for this phone or not so it count it as identity mismatch and quit with error

hi buddy....hy gene stuck after booting....i hv upgraded my gene with SumitsProUsersROM_WM6.5_build21815_OldGene_Fixed.exe.....to upgrade i use temperory cid unlock i.e; jump spl....and now my cid is locked....i.e; securitylevel=FF....i got it from mtty....but 1 thing is good that i csn go to bootloader by pressing camera+reset.....plz help me what to do? my gene is not logging in......which rom i can use to get desktop again.....plz help me....thank you....

hi...i did rom u/g before many times...but this time i didnt take any b/up or gene hspl @ phone memory...the problem is during u/grade TO GENE ASIA,my usb connec. was lost & gene became dead...now details are as follows.
ONBL : 1.17.0000
SPL : 1.17.0000
OS : 1.17.0.0..
NOW I CANT DUMP GENE HSPL OR ANY HSPL OR RUU THROU ANY METHOD.(SD CARD OR DIRECT).
SO WT TO DO FOR DEAD ...GENE
start ur gene in bootloader mode and then try again
BTW were u using jumpSPL method?
jump SPL isn't working on dead gene...
It's incredible how people continue to flash a rom with IPL\SPL. The only thing you all will get is a bricked gene. Time to send to service centre or try your luck with JTAG.

It's complicated Addicted... We try to advise people so many times, this forum have a lot of info and almost every day a bricked gene appear.

can any give me details for jtag method...i cant u/stand how disassembled phone is connected to lpt socket & after that how we hav to press camera button as shown in instrctions..can any explain the method ...plss.plsss.

no..they didn't charge any single bucks...but i did tell them wt i did n how it happened..honestly...they answered my mails too n called me for few times until i sent it to s.c......best service fr HTC...... anyway end well then.......
