My case or rather skin case arrived today and its great. It also came with a screeen guard so for £3.95 i'm chuffed. Took 10 days to get here from Hong Kong mind you.

I really need a case that is at least somewhat shock absorbant and a bit moisture resistant since I got a severly grabby fingered 11 month year old son that likes to pull on (sync) cables, drop everything gadgety and generally drool och cellphones in particular.

I have been checking some online-shops (inc. ebay) in the search of the keypad(plastic thingie, without circuits) with a wheel but with no luck - they are not sold separately from housing, nor many housings are sold without them.
Can anyone give me a clue if I can find that piece somewhere?
It seems there is a thin metalic layer. This one is very fragile: on my phone, this layer begins to peel off. Does anyone know how to change it?

that same **** happens to me, but no that serious, only the little "line" that its in the red and green icons. I guess that your using your fingernails, right?
Nope. But when cleaning my screen, I put a little bit of water on it, then rub it with a tissue. I think the tissue gets caught on the small holes and tear off the metallic layer... One of my colleague has the same problem.
Once it has begun, you cannot stop the layer unsticking.

Mine is even worse not even the metal layer has been scratched off but the keypad is also cracked in the middle and the scroll-wheel does not work
This keypad is really a crap. And the phone surface is not guaranteed by HTC (of course)!
I will receive an HD 2 in a few days. My operator could rebuy my Polaris for 18 € (for recycling it)

I am facing the same problem: the metallic-coated front panel is scratchy, and just last week it was broken from the upper middle section. If anyone could give advice on how to fix/replace it, it would be most appreciated.
Has anyone used the Wisefinger product and can share a review? I think this would work well with a shiny case like the SGP ultra or Speck. It can also do double duty as a stand. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this combo with the Note.

someone posted about this on another thread here today. still looks like a interesting idea. i don't want something extra hanging off the rear-end of my Note to add thickness to it. just makes it that much harder to put into my pocket.

I have one and its extremely akward and uncomfortable to use with the note. The swivel feature of the wise finger its too loose and i find that when reaching over to the other side of the phone one handed, the phone rotates 45 degrees and i have to correct it with the other hand. Ive tried placing it in multiple areas on the back of the phone and i have this problem all the time
It does work as a kickstand though. However, the added bulk and lack of functionality does.not justify every day use

While collecting local geo-data and sensing near-surface disturbances just below your public viewing area, you somehow were able to determine, unlike anyone post=hoc could, that ejecting the shiny new Samsung S6 past the mat and onto the nearby cement floor would be best for it, especially if done so screen down, as though continuing to rest upon your lap during a period of increased disturbances would be a big mistake though it had done so until then quite comfortably, much like a convenience store burrito an hour earlier was a big mistake that had rested in place quite comfortably until then.

Did you purchase with a credit card offering extended or no-fault warranty? If so, you might be in luck.
Can you retroactively purchase a service plan, and then make a claim say a week from now? If so, then you should be in good shape.
