All ringtones, media files, and other miscellaneous files have been removed to recover storage space and useable memory. Tweaks have been applied to power usage, TF3D, storage card transfers, video drivers, registry settings to boost speed, ease of use, payload reduced, sectors moved, and many more parts tweaked to get the most out of the device.

ROM Notes
This ROM is built on OS Build 20771 with many modifications. There are two editions, HTC & ATT. The difference between the two are AT&T Edtions have the AT&T Dialer, PTT and Video Share while the HTC Editions have the HTC Dialer and Video Call.
No Radio comes with the ROM and I suggest you use AT&T 1.12.25.19 radio for best performance which can be found here.
ROM is fully UC compatible. I suggest you read about UC here. I have also created a Pre-Install Cab for users that will install SDConfig.txt and a few programs on your storage that will be loaded during customization process. Check below for more info

Make sure your battery is 50% charged or more
Power off & Remove SIM Card
Power back on and sync with PC
Flash ROM
Hard Reset where it ask you to align screen
After ROM is installed and all customization is done power off
DO NOT CANCEL CUSTOMIZATION! Very important since changes are made during the final setup.
Inster SIM back in
Boot up
Run Connection Setup found in Settings/Connections
If you have trouble with data connections then run Disable Proxy in Programs/Network Center/Proxy Manager

Q: How/What do I need to install this ROM?
A: Please read the install instructions and all related guides before you install.
Q: Why is my antivirus warning me about a possible trojan/worm/virus?
A: It is a known problem with the CustomRUU.exe file. There is no trojan/worm/virus and your AV programs is just giving a fals positive. Search around these boards to confirm the problem.
Q: Why is Opera and Google Maps not cooked into ROM.
A: Not everyone uses the same version of those programs so it is up to the user to install what version they like. I have provided links to the latest versions of each in the following posts.
Q: I have problems with so and so?
A: Please take the time to read or search the thread to see if someone else was/is having the same problem to see if there is a solution before posting a question about your problem.
Q: I would like to report a bug.
A: Read and search through the thread to see if the problem has been already reported. If not then post about the problem. I will add it the bug list and look for a possible solution.
Q: My keyboard is not working correctly.
A: Go to Programs/Tools and run ProFuze. A great little app developed by trinode and it can be found here
Q: Some programs are no longer working the scroll wheel or would like to add program to use scroll wheel.
A: Run Advance Config Tool, goto Menu-->More Settings-->Smart Touch and add program to list.
Q: Which Edition is best for me?
A: Depends on what your use is like. If you are an AT&T user and use video share then get the AT&T edition.
Q: I like to use different flavors of TF3D or customize TF3D to my liking.
A: Download the No Manila (TF3D) version and apply the TF3D you like.
Q: Can you cook in this version of TF3D?
A: No that is why I created the No Manila version.
Q: Can you cook in this program or that program.
A: No, you may download my kitchen and add what you like.
Q: I have no data connection. Connects to data but no apps will get data from internet.
A: Goto Programs-->Network Center-->Proxy Manager and run Disable Proxy.
Q: You claim GPS is fixed but I still not get a signal.
A: If you are not on the AT&T network please go to this thread and see what changes you need to make in the registry. If you figure out the correct settings please post them in this thread along with what country you are in and who is your wireless provider.
Q: My phone is not GSM based device can I flash with this ROM?
A: No, this ROM is just for GSM Touch Pro devices.

At0mAng Pre-Install Cab
This will setup all UC related files on your SD card. It contains SDConfig.txt, Advanced Config, Soft Reset, Total Commander, ClearTemp and SPB Screenshot. If you already use UC then you may not need this. If you do use it then backup your current SDConfig.txt file and your Cabs folder.
Only install to Storage Card before you flash ROM.
Navigation Package
Use Google Maps and Live Search within the RAR file. It will install each program with it's icon in the corresponding folder.
Live Search
Updated version than the one in Navigation Package. Will update Nav Package later. VGA Version of Live Search. Use this for icons to be placed in correct folders with updated icons.
Windows Live
Latest version of Windows Live. Use this for icons to be placed in correct folders with updated icons.
Opera
Latest HTC Opera. Modified with different Icon Shortcut and cache to be placed on storage card.
GPS
The CABs below will add registry settings that will beef up GPS performance. Only use the one for your carrier.

No my head has been in the kitchen...got a link to it? I guess it can wait for the next release. That should be when Xboxmod and crew release the new TP2 Manila.
If I am not around to fix the links when the ROMs are done uploading then you can check the ROM folder in my 4shared. Other download options will come later...about 25 minutes left on the upload.

The feedback on the app in that thread didn't seem very positive - you can't even select the quality in that app, like you can in the one already in the ROM. That might be more of a downgrade than an upgrade . . . but to each his/her own, I guess

I have been using your various versions of ROM for more than 2-3 weeks now. I really like your work. (I like your taste, 3 icons per row, the folders, list of programs you cook in etc,.). I even downloaded your kitchen and was trying to cook something myself but failed. ( I was trying to create package from CAB files and include them in the ROM. But at the end of the cooking i get error message called user hiv does not match or something... i tried for 3-4 hours and gave up. I couldnt add even one of my packages to the kitchen)..

Thanks for this, I've been itching to flash to a new ROM. This one fits the bill and the Rhodium edition is amazing to look at. Already got my usual apps and BlackBerry Connect and SEVEN running. No problems here!
Best ROM ever, stable and fast, everything works great except some well known TP2 manila bugs.
Virus scanner comes up with a generic trojan when I try to unzip the file...
I've flashed several different ROMS from different people and never come across this before... Is this a devious ploy? or perhaps just a coincidence or known problem?

It's a devious ploy to take control of everyone's Touch Pro and unite them to battle the iphone... (eyeroll)

ROM Notes
There are 3 different ROMs with 6 choices for each.
HTC and AT&T Versions with TF3D2, TF3D and No TF3D
All ROMs contain latest XIP 21042 from Shipped Topaz ROM
Builds are:

1. Are there any noticeable differences among the three builds? I really have no personal preference other than the fact that I'll be choosing an att + full manila edition. One criterion that may make my decision is RAM usage. I'd assume the three builds do not have identical usage, although the difference is likely to be near negligible.
2. I want to disable t9, but this also disables fn+space (symbolpad) for the physical keyboard. I've been looking for a solution, but couldn't find one. Any idea?
3. Isn't 20771 based on the leaked att ROM instead of "latest htc"? Not that it's important, but just to make sure.

Only difference is the OS Build. Some people prefer the official ROMs so I whipped them up. Memory usage is about the same. All tweaks are applied to all ROMs. No ideas...I noticed that too with my Disalbe T9 cab...hard to find a solution when your device has no keybaord Yes you are correct, 20771 is the latest AT&T. My mistake in haste...

the last test build from the other thread worked perfectly, battery icon definitely fixed. GPS with aGPS settings work great and get a very quick fix in google maps. great rom, is there any major differences between that one and this one?

Installing the cab will change the tap action on the clock to call history and alarm clock. There are other cabs floating around, but the alarm clock title is wrong, so I corrected it.
This cab acts as a temporary fix for the bug where the timezone changes when the clock is tapped.
Thought it might save you some headache if you'd link this post under bug list

Will add it to the bug list. If you know of any other fixes let me know. It's hard to keep up with everything and build ROMs.

Just some cleaning of duplicate files in kitchen and I believe the wizards in the comm manager are fixed. Not sure if they were fixed in the last beta.

Nothing that involved ... just replaced the gwes with one that would let me use the Rhodium menu enhancement, and threw together a Fuzeberry OEM so I wouldn't need to install the cab separately after the flash. Maybe added one or two other OEM packages too ... was a few weeks ago and don't remember entirely ...
... Besides, if you give peopel any more choices, their heads may explode trying to pick from all the goodness

I have the same problem with the 20771 htc rom !!
This is a port of the excellent Da_G Fuze (GSM) Kitchen. It has been fully modified to work on all CDMA Touch Pro's. I personally have a Sprint Touch Pro.
Da_G has been gracious enough to consider this the "CDMA Version" of his very popular kitchen. Without his help over the past two weeks, I would have never been able to get the new Bepe (Ervius) style kitchen working. I also received a lot of initial help from MightyMike. Instructions for Pre-Built ROM Flashing (Via PC)
Step 1. Be sure your phone is Hard SPL unlocked and ready for a ROM. (Check the link at the bottom of this post).
Step 2. Extract your desired ROM to a clean folder.
Step 3. Connect your phone to PC via USB (Make sure ActiveSync/Mobile Device Center goes connected).
Step 4. Run Custom_RUU.exe in the folder you extracted the rar to.
Step 5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 6. Wait for entire Windows Mobile customization process to complete and phone to soft-reset.
Step 7. Hard Reset. (Start->Settings->System->Clear Memory)
Step 8. Wait for entire Windows Mobile customization process to complete and phone to soft-reset.
Step 9. Job done!
Instructions for new style kitchen (build 21501 and above)
Step 1. Extract to a clean folder
Step 2. Run erviuskitchen.exe
Step 3. Click "load rom"
Step 4. Choose "dB_ROM-21501"
Step 5. Scroll down to section labelled "HERMAN-Device: HERMAN_External_Packages" in blue text
Step 6. Double click packages here to enable or disable them (first column reads True for enabled, False for disabled) (Leave alone for Defaults)
Step 7. Do the same for section under that labelled "SHARED-Devices: WindowsPhone_Components" as step 6 (Leave alone for Defaults)
Step 8. (Optional) Click "Save ROM" and choose a filename, to save your package choices for loading in the future
Step 9. Click "Create ROM"
Step 10. ROM is available in .nbh form in kitchen folder \HERMAN_RELEASE, you can either flash it with the included RUU.exe or rename to RAPHIMG.NBH and place on fat32 formatted SD card, for SD flash
General Notes for ROM and Kitchen
Always hard reset after initial flash. (I always wait till Autorun/SDAutorun complete and device soft resets)
Soft reset after hard reset doesn't hurt anything. (Comes from my old Titan days)
Don't worry about all the "Overwriting..." in the kitchen build process. It's normal and expected.
DO NOT use XIP 21502 in Kitchen. It's broken. I know what it is, but there is no change from the 21501 XIP, so just use it.
Report all bugs, etc here. Da_G and I have worked hard to make this as bug free as possible, but, Shhhtuff happens.
Don't blame me if you brick your device. It's not my, or the kitchens, fault. You recognize the potential problems that can arise from flashing your own ROMs on your phone. Da_G and I will take no responsibility. "Use at your own risk."
All that being said, I have had no issues during flash processes. I use this as my daily phone and have no ill side effects.

How To Create EXT Packages for New Style Kitchen:
Download the EXT_Package_Tools.zip below and extract the two exe files inside to the <TOOLS> folder of the Kitchen.
If you have a cab, run Cab2OEM.exe on it first. Otherwise, goto step 3.
Run EXT_Packages_Rebuilder.exe on the OEM Package directory.
Place the resulting folder in the <EXT\Herman\Common\*> Directory it belongs in.
Example:
Open two explorer windows. Have one window open to the <TOOLS> directory of the Kitchen. Have the other window opened to the directory containing your CAB or Original OEM Package.
Now, if its a CAB, drag the CAB file and drop it on top of Cab2OEM.exe. This will open a command prompt and close it. You should now have a folder in the Explorer window containing the CAB file.
Make sure the folder contains all the files, including the *.rgu file, etc. Now Take that entire folder and drop it on top of EXT_Packages_Builder.exe (Drag the Folder, not the files inside, but the ROOT folder). This should restructure the Folder created in step 2 to have a <files> folder inside of it that contains all the files for the Package, including any .provxmls. There will also be an <app.dat> and <app.reg> file (if applicable). The <app.dat> is the old "initflashfiles.txt". The <app.reg> is the old "*.rgu".
Now check the reg file and make sure it looks setup properly. Cab2OEM.exe likes to bork registry files sometimes. So I would look over this carefully. After you're sure its good, move the folder to the appropriate area in <EXT\Herman\COMMON>. Load up your fav ROM pref from my Kitchen. Scroll down to your package and make sure its "TRUE". Cook and be done.
EXT Package Folder Structure:
<Root Folder> - Name of Package
--<files> - Folder that contains all files that will be installed to \Windows
--<app.dat> - The old <initflashfiles.dat>, contains instructions to copy files, etc.
--<app.reg> - Contains all registry entries for the Package.

I have been debating adding XBoxMod's TF3D2 for a while now. I have seen it cause some issues in other kitchens, so have been very skeptical of adding it until more stability is shown.
However, I wouldn't mind throwing it in my test kitchen and firing off a test build to see how it runs for a day or two. Getting off TF3D and onto TF3D2 (Rhodium!!) would be my next logical step, and very much worth it.
The reason it took so long for me to release this is my own perfectionism. I can't stand to release something that isn't nearly flawless. I have had it "almost finished" for about a week. Then I would notice another issue and have to fix that. Then another, and another. Most were very minor (sounds would not list properly in settings, mortscript wouldn't delete from autorun, provxml's would backfire, etc). I finally set a goal of having it released by this weekend, regardless of status. Luckily I feel this is in great shape as most of the issues I have found are resolved.

These are the packages that I cook by default into my ROM. The main thing with this kitchen is that it seems to crash when you try overwriting a module with a file, in TF3D2 there is a taskmanager.exe that tries to replace the original module which is why the kitchen dies when cooking, in my version I have just removed the exe and all works fine

Uh... you can't just flash a Sprint ROM to an AT&T phone. Doesn't work like that. One is GSM, other is CDMA.

Good work, pal! Now, considering the amount of misinformation floating around in the whole Raphael section, you may want to link to my first post in this section (This Sticky). This contains all the needed stuff to HardSPL and flash the roms. I know that you are familiar with PPCGeeks, but a lot of poeple aren't, so giving them instructions on how to do it will probably save a few people from either bricking their devices or simply from posting questions such as "how do I put this in my phone?"
Again, good work and it is great to finally see some Chefs in the Herman section !

Thank you for trying it! But, trust me, you are NOT the guinea pig. I have my wife and my touch pro's I try it all on first. Then I have a couple friends that also have them. Between the 4 to 5 of us, we thoroughly test it all. I have been developing this initial release for quite some time now. See below...

About Opera:
The built in opera has auto rotation disabled. To enable auto Gsensor rotation in Opera, install the cab in Start>SystemTools.
Flash is installed and working in this Opera version, however you need to enable plugins in Opera settings.

Here's a few things about the new Visual Kitchen:
- This is a dual device kitchen. Make sure to select the correct configuration for your device.
- This kitchen is pretty new for me, and I am still somewhat of a visual kitchen noob. As always, I will do my best to answer questions, but I'm learning this kitchen as I go, so bear with me.
- This kitchen makes porting new builds from other devices relatively easy -- more on this in time..
- The kitchen has duplicates overwrite feature, so you won't get BuildOS duplicate errors, but what this also means is that if you do have duplicates, the first in the chain will get overwritten by the last. There's an option to alert of duplicates, but you gotta look.
- This kitchen handles OEMs differently than older kitchens, so you can either put your OEM's in the appropriate OEM folder (you can delete option.xml), but you can't disable any packages in OEM folders in the kitchen. If you want to be able to disable packages, you need to convert them to EXT packages. What you do is take your old style OEMs and put them all in one folder, and drag the entire folder onto EXT_PAckages_rebuilder.exe in the kitchen, and it will convert for you. Then you put the new OEM in the appropriate Device sub folder of the EXT folder -- ie: EXT/RAPH800/23001/RAPH800_External_Packages. If your package contains modules, you need to move the module into the files folder of that package.
- To select or deselect EXT or SYS packages, just double click it in the kitchen, once you've got the kitchen running. Packages in the OEM folder can't be deselected, so if you want to remove any of them, you need to remove the package manually.
- To run the kitchen, double click erviuskitchen.exe and the kitchen will open. Then choose load rom in the upper left, and choose the latest groveROM build. This will automatically load the stock settings for my ROM.
- To build ROM, click create ROM in the upper left. Watch the bottom of the screen for progress. Once done, your new RUU_signed.nbm (the rom) will appear in the RELEASE_RAPH800 folder.
- By default, the ROMs are build with a 6MB pagepool, so be sure to change it to your desired PP with the PP changer -- I perfer 24MB. Then flash the rom with the Custom_RUU.exe as normal. Or you can change in in the rom build by clicking the "other" button in the upper left before cooking.
- I don't care what you do with my kitchen. You can use any OEM's or files you find, but please give me the proper credit if you post a public ROM with elements of my work, or repost any files. Thanks.

Im still working with getting used to the VC. I keep having issues with a Rhodium package that ive used in the past that wont load( but thats probably the indian and not the arrow). But also Ive Used Rstoyguys OEM for sounds for awhile now, but ive noticed that in the last month or so the power on/off sounds dont work. Groove do you know of anything that would be over riding them from your sys/oem etc ? glad to see your back up

It prolly has something to do with the order in which your oems are processed. You prolly have a reg setting that is getting overwritten. Export your rgu for the manila package, and convert it to a cab with cereg editor, then cab install the reg settings into a rom that has the manila cooked in. The other possibility is that a file or something is getting overwritten. Watch the process for overwrite warnings.
Also, how are you adding the oem -- as OEM or EXT? Where are you putting the package exactly? How did you convert it.

My ROMS are designed to be fast, stable & have decent battery life while retaining the OEM look and feel. It is mostly a clean ROM built for you to customize how you like. All ringtones, media files, and other miscellaneous files have been removed to recover storage space and useable memory. Major tweaks have been applied to every part of the ROM.
What's Inside:
All ROMs contain apps & drivers from the Touch Pro, Touch Pro2 (Rhodium), Diamond2 (Topaz) and Tachi devices. Software included in all ROMs are base HTC & Microsoft apps including Java, MP3 Trimmer, MS Office, YouTube, Comm Manager, Streaming Media, Camera, MS Office and a few other base apps & drivers.
Most software such as GoogleMaps, Opera, Bing, Facebook, Windows Live and other miscellaneous apps & utilities are not created with the ROMs. They are however include in the Pre Install Pack which you will read more about in the next few posts. I highly suggest you take the time to read about UC and/or other ways to customize your install at the final stage of customization.
All software used in ROMs are the latest versions of what works best together. In most cases the software is the latest version and when not it is to ensure a more stable ROM...or it just doesn't work.
AT&T Edition of ROMs are identical to HTC ROMs except the AT&T Edition has Push To Talk, AT&T Fuze Dialer and Video Share to allow Vide Share calls on AT&T Network.
All Enhanced features (Large Menus, Enhanced Notification, HTC Start Menu and Auto Rotate) are turned off by default. To turn on each feature go to Programs/Tools/TF3D2 Tweak and you will find options to turn each feature on/off.
The ROM was built this way to provide a clean & stable base ROM for you to customize how you like.

ROM Notes
No Radio comes with the ROM and I suggest you use what radio is best for you. You can find the radio thread here.
ROM is fully UC compatible. I suggest you read about UC here. You will find a configured Pre-Install Pack for you below that contains the basics for UC.
With the Comm Manager. If you press Internet Sharing it will bring up the WiFi Router. If you press on/off it brings up Internet Sharing with USB or Bluetooth. A small bug but I will call it a feature

Q: How/What do I need to install this ROM?
A: Please read the install instructions and all related guides before you install.
Q: Why is my antivirus warning me about a possible trojan/worm/virus?
A: It is a known problem with the CustomRUU.exe file. There is no trojan/worm/virus and your AV programs is just giving a fals positive. Search around these boards to confirm the problem.
Q: Why is Opera, Google Maps or other programs not cooked into ROM.
A: Not everyone uses the same version of those programs so it is up to the user to install what version they like. I have provided links to the latest versions of each in the following posts.
Q: I have problems with so and so?
A: Please take the time to read or search the thread to see if someone else was/is having the same problem to see if there is a solution before posting a question about your problem.
Q: I would like to report a bug.
A: Read and search through the thread to see if the problem has been already reported. If not then post about the problem. I will add it the bug list and look for a possible solution.
Q: My keyboard is not working correctly.
A: Go to Programs/Tools/Keyboard Tweaks and you will find a few tweaks to adjust keyboard settings.

Q: Which Edition is best for me?
A: Depends on what your use is like. If you are an AT&T user and use video share then get the AT&T edition.

A: No that is why I created the No Manila version.

A: No, this ROM is just for GSM Touch Pro devices.

Pre Install Pack
The Pre Install Pack contains programs that have been modified so the icons and shortcut locations are placed in the correct folders to keep the theme of the ROM. Download Pre Install Pack, extract SDConfig.txt to the root of your SD card and extract all CAB files to a folder named Cabs on your SD card. If you already have a SDConfig.txt file then you should know how to modify it to use the programs I suggest.

5.6 ROM
On screen keyboard (EzInput) sometimes get stucks in numbers layout (123) and can not be changed to letter layout (ABC).
Solution : Download this file and extract files to windows folder on phone. Then go to Programs/Tools/Keyboard Tweaks/ and run Enable XT9. Reboot and your keyboard problem will be fixed.

doubt there will be anything big it seems like all my problems came from the screen rotations... now that it's disabled it should be good and fast!

edit 2: sms isnt working. shows that it sent, but texts are never received. probably my fault, didnt remove sim before flashing. hard-resetting and trying again.

After enabling "Start Menu On" under TF3D2 Tweaks.. pressing the Start button from Home tab will open up the programs shortcut screen, but the left and right soft keys remain "Phone" and "Camera". How to make them show "All Programs" and "Remove" like when you are at the Programs tab?
I found a bug in the ROM...sorry. If you change the OnScreen Keyboard to ABC it will not change. The EZInput KB is stuck on numbers only and I am not sure how to switch it. I have never had this problem before in my ROMs so have to back track to see why it broke.
If anyone has a fix please share it.

The disable XT9 stuff normally breaks the keypad entry, if that's what you're talking about. I have been able to get it to work with the RRE ROM though...but it seemed to be a shot in the dark when it worked and didn't work. Perhaps he has a kitchen available you could reference?

It has always worked with my methods of disabling XT9. Well, it worked how I like it. So far I figured out that cooking in the disable xt9 settings is one of the reasons causing it. The other problem might a new setting I used to disable xt9.

Found a Bug, I guess, Using the Full Qwerty, I switched it to numbers and tapping on the ABC will not bring it back. I installed all the addons you had in that Program Folder.
Any ideas?

Looking for a fix now...I cooked in the settings to disable xt9 along with a setting that I have not used before and that's why it caused that. I recooked with out those settings and everything is fine. Before I made a new ROM I tried to set all the reg entries back to their normal state but that did not work. Not sure why but it didn't. I am creating new ROMs now. If an easy fix can not be found before I am done then I just will repost the newer ROMs.

i didnt do anything out of the addon folder and my keyboard is doing fine, maybe start there At0m.
Only issue im having is mapping ptt button, tried the default way, and with ae button plus. About to give it a go with the cab posted from Pump

Another Bug, after you pair your Bluetooth Headsets, they show they are connected but will not work. Click on the button on the bluetooth headset and nothing.

I added PTT Mod to the ROM so you can map it right from buttons.
Everything is fixed with the keyboard.

Manila v2.0 have been leaked from HTC. The great thing with this version is that it comes from HTC Mega, a.k.a Touch2 which have native QVGA screen resolution so there is no need for porting or resizing of applications.
Big thanks goes to Da_G who made available to all of us build 19171723 and conflipper for latest build 19191432. Raw HTC Mega build 19171723 packages are here and build 19191432 packages are here.
NOTE:
Originally Da_G posted Mega packages for cookers so they can cook into Roms. I just made a quick cab so anyone can benefit and try out before your favorite cookers will release new Roms. Making cabs still takes some time so I'll add other Mega cabs later.
It is released as is, so it may or may not work on your device.
WHATS NEW IN THIS VERSION?
new home tab with flipping clock and weather widget [only in build 19191432 from 23-09-09]
it has new folderview (bugless finally), works flawlesly, also All settings soft key now is working properly with WM6.5.

Manila customizer theme manager won't work properly since home tab is totally revamped by HTC
to set Opera as default browser in Manila you need to change the following registry settings:

As I already told this version of Manila is very tightly integrated into HTC Mega package and it is almost impossible to have clean standalone version. Nevertheless it is possible to run it with minimum requirements without problems, so don't expect to work every single function and module. Also this version is designed for WM6.5 and it may not work flawlessly with WM6.1.

Here is Manila with optimized graphics and skinned to black theme. Graphics size was reduced down from 11Mb to 3.2Mb (Gain of7Mb!!!). Big thanks to S.V.I who did this titanium job of editing over 700 files. Launcher tab is disabled by default as WM6.5 have its own good launcher.
I also resized Phones Canvas and reduced size down from 1.7Mb to 466Kb (Gain of 1.3Mb). Just so you know to gain more performance some of the graphics is stored in \Windows\ManilaGFX folder.

Didn't Work
Did not work on my ELFin. Installed it and on the Today screen prompts "Tap to launch TouchFlo, i do, it starts launching and goes back to the "Tap to...."

Yes, bottom bar is colored, but sliding tab is transparent.
For those having problems installing be sure that you have all basic applications from HTC + some others like:
- HTC Album
- HTC Audio Manager
- YouTube
- GoogleMaps

@cruiserrr - to make cab file you will need cab maker. I'm using WinCE Cab Manager which is not free, but you can find freewares too. Usage is quite simple, just add files, registry entries and press make cab, thats it.

Yeah, I am familiar with cabwizsp, and wince cab manager. But I do not know what to do with the oem package. How do I edit/export the OEM package into the files, reg entries, etc? Once splitted I take everything in there, to make the cab?

If we choose the OEMPackage Manila2D for example:
Start a new cab on WinCECM, insert all files on the cab except a file with extension .rgu.
When it's done, File>Import>REG File, and choose the .rgu file.
If you have a dll on the OEM package, use that for recompile a DLL : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2293746&postcount=8
