I've been trying now for more then a week and I fixed the sms and bluetooth bugs from my multi touch... but since the new method of flashing roms I can't get any of my cooked roms to sync with activesync.... so if I can't get any help or directions soon I'll drop prophet totaly
I have a Kaiser and I'm giving my girlfriend a Touch Dual for christmas so I have no need for more Prophet roms...
so it's a cry for help or my roms are history
same problem to me.cook with the new nb,all provxml files are not executed when hard reset,so the security policy is strict and cannot install any cabs or activesync

Hey man, it can't be related to the new upgrade method , am using Crystal 5 upgraded with the new method and i just got my Prophet synched.
am using Outlook 2003, Activesync 4.5, XP with the latest patchs and i have only Arabizer installed in my PDA nothing else.

If it's not a reg problem or anything in the ROM , it's not a XIP problem ?

my guess is that is xip problem I will try using my old os.nb but then it will be regoniced as a wizard but if it works I know where the problem is and can maybe fix it
There are some cooks that succeeded, so I'm wondering why they can't help you out. I do understand however that now you don't use a Prophet yourself anymore, it is not so much fun anymore to cook for this device. People request, demand sometmes, but you don't benefit yourself.
But, on the other hand, it is no shame to release your ROM the traditional way, is it? You will make a lot of people happy with the fixed multi-language version of your latest receipt.

+1 and I can help you in French to finish what is not translated, I've created some ROM in French, I've all elements (not all like soft how are not original or compressed) I'm with you !
It is the xip or the new os.nb that are causing my problems with active sync..
so I can now make roms that working but will be reconiced as wizard by some apps but this means I can continu working on the roms... and hopefully I'll figure out how to remove the mini os to get the extra storage

Gullum.. Maybe you can ask hma4 or cloudyfa for that.. They've made it.. Maybe they can help you..

I am a novice guy in this rom's world, I can't help you in your problem, but me ang other prophet guys are happy with your last rom's especially with multi language, and this is not with some more Mbs in the devices that I change to another rom. I flash my prophet because the language rom and the less bugs.
So, the flashmaker's run in two ways. One for the last and more bug software in other and usefull, stable and minor bugs. I'm shure that last roms make happy more people.
For last I think the way for the perfect rom is to converge the knowlage of last day out roms.

so in short what is the deal: indentification as pm300 screws active sync up, and wizzard identifications works with active sync?
screw identification as pm300 then, i can do without some programs... like camera plus...
and i can do everything with a english language...
so screw the languages aswell as long as there are more stable, faster and useable roms i'm happy...
I have an 'o2 xda atom' base model,and nw i wanted to upgrade it to wm6 or wm6.1,also i came to know that there is no wm6 upgrade 4 my atom at o2's official website, can anyone tell me tat can it be made possible to hav wm6 on my phone! If yes then will it work perfectly as the processor is inferior(in terms of mega heartz MHz) than 'o2 atom Life' Also,plz tellme tat which rom is best for me and which eats less power! Plz remember tat my model is just 'o2 atom' the very 1st atom model...thankx in advance frnds

kindly read the wiki so you would know how to upgrade to WM6.
There is no official WM6 available from o2 so you know. Be thankful for xda-dev for bringing new life to our old machines.
But! Which rom should i prefer as there are so many roms available, also i came to know that there are too much risks involved during upgrading process or it may lead my phone 'dead' ....plz suggest me the appropriate rom for my machine....sir,am new to this forum am getting confused reading 'wiki for atom' i wud be thanking u if u give me the exact link of tat wiki,also the link of the rom which i should use....and plz letme knw about the risks. My is 'o2 atom' the very 1st model. These forums r really so interesting sir i really love my atom and i dont want my atom to go 'dead'....sir,plz help me. Bro, device turning DEAD wouldn't happen if you just read the instructions given by the ROM chef. Follow exactly and no problems would arise. About the Wiki, just hover over to the brown bar on top of this page. There is a link XDA-Wiki. Use that.
About the many ROM's available for ATOM. Be proud that ATOM has been given a new life by various cookers. Choosing a ROM would depend on wht you want. If you need a fast, clean ROM then choose one looking at the description. On the contrary you can go for heavily loaded ROM which look great but consume a lot of resources. Final call is yours.

there are many ROM's available in this link. If you want faster access and a clean ROM use a larger pagepool ROM.

read the thread that contains WM6 or WM6.1 you will know feedbacks of others who have tried them. choosing a ROM is a personal reference. My current ROM may be perfect for me but not for others. get it mate?
Friend's i have a query in my mind, actually i hav downloaded homers and one of the roms having larger pagepool, plz let me know that will these roms be having thesame look as orignal wm6 or wud be modified in terms of appearence. Will it be looking as same as the orignal wm6 rom.,sir in ur openion which rom wud be more appropriate for me among homers and larger pagepool one,plz tellme as i want a rom having no bugs and the most important aspect is that it should have rame appearence and user interface of the orignal wm6. Or if any other rom is gud plz suggest me. My device is 'o2 atom' very 1st base model

I was able to get a new 6.5 beta rom,it works very well(only some minor bugs) but is in chinese
Anyone able to cook or change the language to english?

I have extracted the rom and i replaced the chinese mui files with the english one.
I dont know where i can find Initflashes.dat and i need a cooking tutorial and a cooking tool for atom life

very slow boot up-shutdown
low memory free (11mb)
Chinese language
internet explorer seems to have files missing, apps requiring internet wont open
wifi does work
cant get the lock screen working
Not worth trying it out

Thanks for this ROM. Initflashfiles.dat can only be seen in dump after You'll enable viewing hidden and system files in Your file explorer.
I hope You're using Scoter Kitchen not the one that's in this Atom section.
Hey guys, don't try it, I've flashed this n it cased my rw6828 hanged in BL1.05 screen n can't flash another rom again, it show a message missing Eboot*.nb0 after 100% on the screen of my PC, I tried 2 days b4 I can flash it back to Ver2.03.03a_miniSD_byNHOCBANME which I think is the best n stable rom.

Note : I have been using this for last 2 days and i feel the battery drains fast so if u are a heavy user of the phone like me u might not be too happy with this ROM due to the fast drain of batt i had 100% morning and around 60%battery around 6PM & not too many calls for the day (this is just for ur info)

I used htc today as home instead of titanium and manila2d (these kind memory hogger home plugins are not for our device)
Really liked the 3d interface
Trying to remove honeycomb start menu (can anybody out thr help?)
Saw a utility in battery section to monitor the backup of the battery since last full charge (waiting for a full charge to see if it works)
Found the ROM a little bit slow as compared to sumiy's VanillaManilla

i have been using this from the morning had around 98% batter so did not charge today and now i have around 75% not much calls today so i feel that the battery is draining fast but then i have been changing from titanium to M2D a few times this could also be the reason for the battery drain
but all in all it seems to be good the battery indication is good it has % and a green bar indication and if i click on it it shows the meter
this has not happened in any rom except sumits
and on a personal note it has one of my favorite tones California i always loved this tone ever since i heard the song in the serial of the same name and i have copied and saved it on my SD
and yes the same problem as in sumits 6.5 of the sms opening when restarting is their

is possible install honey comb on Wm 6.5 for gene , beucase i see many movies from wm6.5 on another htc's using honey comb on menus.
and i updated my gene with wm6.5 and he dont have te comb's
There were initially a few 6.5 ROMs with honeycomb by ankit and krazy. Just search a bit
There is still a cab to make Honeycomb menu possible on WM6.5, I will post it later.
