[Q]Any screen protector not a Fingerprint Magnet? - Touch HD Accessories

Hi all,
Is there any good screen protector out there that doesn't collect fingerprints? Clear screen as well?
After lots of consideration I don't think I'll get the InvisibleShield nor Clear Coat screens. I just don't like their rubbery surface that makes the phone looks not classy anymore, especially the battery cover side.

I've opted for the Exim ones...I tried invisible sheild and whilst I can't deny it is a better all round protector it's an absolute "*****" to fit...exim is easy

I think Clear-Coat make the best protectors!

[Q] Recommend screen protector

Hi guys,
can you recommend any screen protector to our beloved BN Nook Tablet?
I find bare screen less slippery for finger (compared to my phone with Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic clear screen protector (or previously used Brando Clear screen protector)) and some protection would be nice of course as well.
I'm looking for a screen protector, that would be
- clear (not glare reducing, matte)
- easily applicable (like Brando and similar - i.e. no glue, no liquids, static adhesion preferred)
- covering the whole screen (not just touch area)
- good value for the money
I don't think I need the most durable protector that exists, as I believe tablet is less exposed than mobile phone, I carry it in case etc.
Thanks!
I would get Caseen Glareshatters. I know you said no glare reducers, but it's still worth taking a look at.
They're cheaper than B&N's screen protectors, easy to apply (adhesive), and most important, no more oily, crusty residue from your fingers.

Screen protector recommendation?

I am mainly concerned about fingerprints and smoothness of the operation. Clarity is an important factor also so appears matte finish isn't what I'm looking for since you have that moire over text and such. What would be the optimal screen protector?
Skinomi. Awesome and very easy to apply. They also have the best customer service support!
I actually messed up while applying my screen protector and they sent me a new kit within 2 business days.
Where to get it: Amazon, nuff said.
Thanks for the tip. I think I'm going to try something cheapo like this just so my mother can see if she can live with a matte finish for about a week.

If she finds she can I will find a good high product one.. if not I will go straight with Skinomi most likely than. But I think buying a cheap matte one so she can experience and anti-glare, anti-fingerprint (most critical is fingerprint reduction) than she can make an intelligent decision without blowing $15 just to find she does not like it.
I tried the Zagg and it was a disaster. Application was messy and I personally didn't like the grippy feel. I just got my BodyGuardz put on a couple days ago though and I love it. I bought the combo carbon fiber skin/HD anti-glare screen protector and it's fantastic. Nice feel and definitely cuts down on glare and fingerprints.
Also, if you find them on facebook and post "BodyGuardz Me!" on their wall, they'll send you a 30% off coupon code.
Skinomi
Skinomi wet-apply screen protectors are pretty easy to apply, however they are grippy (like the Zagg's) and 'soft' as in an your fingernail can easily and accidentally leave an indent on the screen protector. It feels almost too soft, where things that leave an indent on the screen protector would never even damage the Gorilla Glass underneath.
Good thing is because it is soft like rubber, most indents un-indent themselves after a while.
Screen Protector
got my screen protector for my Asus Eee Pad made by http://secondshells.com/screen-prot...n-protector-anti-glare-anti-finger-print.html I ordered the anti-glare screen protectors through SecondShells. I have used simply because the touch screen did not lose any sensitivity after I applied it.
The protector had a nice rectangular notch cutout for the camera and for the light sensor(I think that's what it is), I had purchased other protectors and they had these small circular holes, you had to be perfect to install it right, this larger opening made my life a lot easier. Overall very easy to apply, a peel and stick type of protector, with protective covers.. I am very happy. I also recommend getting a stylus like the nano fiber stylus I also ordered from SecondShells responds great with my tablet. http://secondshells.com/touch-stylu...n-with-nano-fabric-retractable-tip-black.html
The Skinomi is nice. Just installed it today. It doesn't reduce glare but the touch is nice. I only wish it were oleophobic...

I installed the Ghost Armor clear front an back on mine and love it. It is a little bit grippy, but no where near as bad as Zagg, which I can't stand!! Ordered mine direct from them for less than $35 shipped. Install is your standard wet install which is super easy in my opinion. Clarity is great and does NOT have the orange peel look like Zagg does. The full body kit comes with front, back, and even pieces to cover the sides. True full body protection!!! They offer many different colors for the back including carbon fiber. http://www.ghost-armor.com/Asus/743.html
I've never been able to get the wet app to work successfully. That's why I chose the dry application secondshells offers.

Best screen protector for Note 3?

Most of the screen protecors I have used have been garbage. I hate the peel ones becauase some small piece of dust always seems to get trapped under them. The ones where you use water to stick them are pretty cool, but I haven't found any that are amazing. What I'm looking for is a screen protector that isn't a fingerprint magnent, but also one that is easy to install. Any suggestions?

Have you tried note 3 tempered glass screen protector? They are amazing and easy to apply.
I have a tempered glass screen that I haven't put on yet. They sound good, but I'm worried about two things: the screen being a fingerprint and smudge magnet and if a case would be able to go over the phone with a tempered glass screen.
I have one that I haven't used yet because I am worried about a few things:
Will it attract fingerprints and smudges and will a case be able to fit the phone with that particular screen protector?
I can highly recommend the Nillkin 9H tempered screen protector. It costs around ₹800 here in my country (so should be around 12-13 USD/10 EURO) and it is an extreme value for money product. I really love mine.
Finger print magnet? I don't know! All the hard type screen protectors catch finger prints and smudges, I think, but I won't call it to the extent of being a magnet. With any tempered screen protector one thing a person should do, clean it whenever you get a chance.
If you're truly worried about fingerprints you may want to consider buying an oleophobic coating kit. It's a liquid/gel based coating that is fingerprint resistant. It's already applied to phones in the factory by default, but it wears off.
Most cases have no problem with tempered glass screen protectors.
Spigen is really good. I think they also have a fingerprint resistant one.

Ultimate Shield (UK) or alternative in UK!

So there seems to be many threads on screen protectors and little lost on the best ones. Some of them don't seem to ship to UK!
So found the Ultimate shield which has good reviews (if real) and reviews say it works with case.
https://www.ultimateshield.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s7-screen-protector/
Spigen don't sell their curved crystal in UK so thats out.
So whats everyone bought here in England?
I'm using a matte tech21 impact shield. I really like it but they are bloody expensive at around £16 a pop!
P.s I also have ultimate shield on the back of the phone. I had tried the screen protector too but it eventually started lifting at two of the corner with a spigen rugged armour case.

Drat! I was all set to get the Ultimate Shield for my S7 Edge until I read this. Mine lives in a Spigen Tough Armor case.
Do you take your phone out of the case, or does it live in there all the time? (My phones tend to live permanently in their cases, so I'm just wondering whether taking it in and out of the case is the cause of the protector lifting...)
Well I had the same school of thought as you initially, if I'd have got the screen protector on and in the case, it was never coming out! Lol unfortunately though, will the ultimate shield being edge to edge, there is just enough flex in the spigen rugged armour case (when its in your pocket for example) to lift up the edge of the protector slightly at the corners.

Hi, how does it feel like? Is it glass? or more like a filmy protector?
What about the touch sensitivity?

It's a multi layered film, but it is wet application. It isn't rubbery though like the original invisible Shields for example, it is quite rigid and not stretchy. It does have a very strange feel to it, almost a bit rough (you can hear your finger swiping on it if you're sat in silence), but I quickly got used to this. This odd texture does seem incredibly hard wearing and resistant to any scratches. I think it does reduce screen sensitivity very slightly but not to the extent that I would write it off and remove it, you just naturally adjust your technique when interacting with the screen.
One thing to note though, if you haven't used an anti glare protector before, make sure you do your research. This one is incredibly effective in terms of anti glare but does reduce the screen quality somewhat.

How many of you use your phone without a case or tempered glass

I was just curious that how many of you use your phone without any protection? I just started using like that and it feels really nice. The hyper-cut diamond finish gives a good grip to the hand.
I really like the feel of the phone in the hand, nicest I've had to hold, and is the only phone I ever use a case with...I just know if I leave it out the case there will be an expensive accident.
I use it without cover but with a glass screen protector
I don't use any glass or cover. I buy nice designed phones to feel the nice full metal unibody with a slim design.
If i would like to feel any cheap, fat plastic body i can buy a phone with a cheap plastic body.
I use xtremeskins UK sticker on top of back of my phone and plastic film screen protector as the one preinstalled has worn out. I have black carbon fibre version of the sticker with red accent on camera lens (which actually matches power button colour ) it looks cool and gives that extra grip.
Here is a link to website:

You can see for yourself how will your phone look like before you buy the actuall skin. The quality of a skin is amazing ,it's hardly add any bulk to the device and it does make it feel better in hand as well as add that extra wow factor when you pull out your phone from pocket.
I received my P10 on Thurs 07/12 and wanted to get a few opinions on whether i should remove the factory fitted screen protector prior to applying a glass screen protector or if i should just clean the factory fitted protector with the alcohol pads/swabs provided and stick the new glass screen protector on top?
Does the factory fitted protector reduce the clarity/sharpness of the screen in any way?
Would this be adequate:

Kind Regards
I'm using the original Huawei Flip cover and a full glass screen protector. As an electrician my hands aren't clean Everytime I grab my phone and sometimes I need to put some tools in the same pocket as the P10 is in.
But I hate the glass protector even it works very well. There's a black border around the whole protector and after a few month the protector doesn't fit perfectly anymore, it moved a bit to the left. The transparent part of the protector is a bit smaller than the screen and this is kind of annoying especially know it's moved.
I don't want to use a protector, but I think I need one. I don't want an ugly scratch on the screen.
Hi,
I removed the factory installed film in the screen and replaced it with a matte IQ Shield protector. It's great. It's not glass, but it has no reflections. Like most laptops.
