Welcome to my ROM thread!
This ROM is the "2.0 series" of my ROM line, and it's designed to have the latest and greatest applications and improvements. Because of this it may not always be as stable or bugfree, as a stock ROM. However, I can assure you, it's much... MUCH faster than any stock ROM on your device.
The ROM is being continuously developed and bug fixed and there's almost daily releases. I've decided to name each release by the date when it was released. For example, 41209 would have been released on April 12th, 2009. I should also mention it's UC compatible and more info about that can be found here.
The ROM is currently based on the 21042 OS core, with all the new goodies from the newly announced Topaz device (the Diamond2).
It's got the new new Manila interface, new HTC enhanced finger menus, new notifications system, album, FM radio and MP3 trimmer, connection setup etc.
If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utillities (after you flash the ROM) to select the proper keyboard layout to use. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout by default.
- This ROM is a Ferrari, therefore it drinks a lot of gas and burns a lot of rubber (RAM)... so be prepared to charge it more often!

But i must ask 4 for some issues...
1. By your pics (the Quotes pic), it seems that you did not update to XBMOD v1d MANILA FIX.
Any Idea, why?
2. Did you fix the DST issue (shift by 1 hr) ?
3. Dis you fix SMS issue, sending threw the Manila, that send only "???" sign instead words?

About the ROM:
This is a hbyrid ROM from qsqa and aruppenthal's respected ROM based off of 20764. Also contains stuff made by tnyynt for video performance. Please do NOT flash this ROM on a CDMA device (ONLY GSM) and make sure you have HARDSPL.

Radio
This is a very subjective matter and as with all my ROMs (unless requested), I don't cook in a radio. Radio 1.10.25.25 however is highly recommend (especially in Southern California)

What's Included: I have packaged the .nbh and custom RUU (obviously) along with a pagepool changer. I have done the hex editing for ALL three versions so you may change to whichever changepool you'd like at your will. I have set the default pagepool at 18mb.
If you like the ROMs and appreciate the hours of work, donations are welcomed/appreciated. I would say help me out for a Fuze, but i can't spend anything for another two months (when i can verify the account with my own bank account) and by then, i'll be looking at the next new device
Since I do not have a Fuze to test the ROMs, mrfongy (doesn't have the whole thing set up but donate to: [email protected]) and mcmexican were just outstanding dedicated testers, so if you donate to them, i'd be just as delighted.

Yes I like em. Btw, easily changable. Just install a new theme cab.
Also, if anybody would like, i'd be more than happy to upload my kitchen with everything for people to mess with.
I flashed the TF3D version on my Fuze this AM. Looks really very nice but accessing Start/Settings/System from the Home screen occasionally freezes my Fuze. After a soft-reset everything is back to normal but the problem reappeared several times when I tried to get into the system settings.
I have been using this rom since this morning. I like it. I will give more feedback later. I love how it has a lot of the cabs that I install, already on it.
A few things I have experiences.
1. Windows Device Center (Vista) keeps dropping the connection
2. Some sounds not working (Alarm, sounds when you hit the VolUp and VolDwn keys)
3. No RegEditor in the ROM (for like the keyboard tweak)
4. Cannot get the soft keyboard to change from the "Standard" keyboard

Yeah, I am getting the same thing. I believe it has to do with the icon for the uploader on the personal tab. Everytime I go to settings the icon is scrambled and my phone locks up.
Quick question what's the purpose of the page pool changer... why would I change the default... sorry I'm still a wee big of newb

I'm curious, is 6.5 (in this ROM version) fast and stable yet? I'm still running one of Michy's awesome 6.1 ROMs, don't have the time to play with 6.5 unless it's comparable.

Icons that look fuzzy/pixelated are listed below (they just mainly do not look smooth like the other icons next to them that are very smooth)
In Connections: Connection Speed, Comm Manager, Network Settings, Wireless Lan.
In Personal: Menu Settings, Organize Start Menu.
In System: .Net Configuration, Backlight, Comm Manager, Device Information, Format MicroDrive, KeyLock, Keyboard, Languages Switch, Microphone AGC, Quick GPS, SUB Display, ROM Information, SMS Mode, Task Manager (HTC), USB To PC, WOW HD Settings.
In Start Manu, Programs: All in VJ Candella, Addins, Bluetooth Explorer, Comm Manager, GSen & GSen Toggle, ICSControl, PIM Backup, Pocket RAR, Pocket Screen, Remote Desktop, Search, SyncroTime, TCPMP, Total Commander, Tray Launch, WMWifiRouter.
Something else i noticed, some of the apps I have installed look this way as well perhaps some device identifier not correctly telling the apps that it should be VGA res.
This is by no means a show stopper nor does it affect uasbility or performance, just appearance. You are known for roms of the highest quality and I just wanted you to know.

Please keep in mind that these are leaked internal MS builds that are beta and ported to use on devices they were not compiled for by our awesome rom cooking community here so each new release is a step closer to the fully released & mainstream WM6.1 roms but they are still in "Shakedown" stages. I am very happy to be able to run them even with some quirks, thats why we are here yes?

Clean Vanilla Version
Would it be possible to create a Vanilla Version of this awesome ROM?
So far Michy you are the only one I see still giving faith to those wanting more from their Athena, it's much appreciated. Many of the additional programs that included in this Beta I don't use and the space is becoming very limited.
Thank you soo much for you effort in carrying the tradition of the rest of the ROM with our beloved Athena.
PS: My athena isnt my primary device and is being setup as a CarPC while my Raphael is my main phone. Windows 6.5's interface makes for a great CarPC Interface. Thank you!
Michy, thank you. I just flashed it on my device and it its running smooth (except the menu's).
sometings I've found so far.
*when I use the camera the devices performance is cut by about 1/4th even after i close the camera app. I can only get back up to speed when soft reset.
*is it possible to change the dialer? this one is really slow.

Just the Welcome Message keeps on coming. RemoveWelcome.cab works wonders on that tho. Just the "Install Tweaks" keeps on coming every reboot.

I forgott to add my XML to this CAB so this bug is totally removed in the upcoming 2.0 (will have the AutoRun feature as well)! The next ROM will come by tomorrow, so don't play any longer with the actual release but any Bug reports would be nice!

Well, it's hard to make a decision for my Prophet. I like the theme from the Titanium rom, but i also like some of your stuff, which is cooked in your rom. And of course, a German rom isn't such a bad thing for a German!
1. But, will it be possible to change the theme? Without icons and so on, the standard windows style looks a bit borring.
2. Is there any way, to use a bigger keypad like that from the HTC Touch Diamand (or roms from the Elf/in)? I'm searching some days for these. A finger friendly one would be amazing!
3. Is there a way to choose applications like TomTom 6 or Solitaire on WM6.5 home screen?
4. What can you say about the performence from M2D on Windows Mobile 6.5? By know, it looks way easier to work with, but there are although things I like on Microsofts new system.

Will be fixed on next update tomorrow! I'll add a link to download the first version of my kitchen for that ROM, too! It's not filled up with many apps but a good start I, think! More addons for the kitchen will be released separately or in another way I haven't thought about! ^^

Yes, it's possible! But be sure that you're activating a true WM6.5 theme, the themes from WM6.1 and below aren't changing the whole interface with the new Look'n'Feel of WM6.5! If you're using such an old theme, you will see the old style everywhere!

For sure, as the previous answer said: search for HTC EzInput QVGA! Or try QVGA version of FingerKeyboard (which I personally prefer )!

Haven't tried M2D on it but the perfomance is way better than I ever thought! It's much faster in most ways then my Diamond with it's double-sized RAM and 528 Mhz CPU!

Okay guys, ROM is updated (the Clalculator bug, you know) and the kitchen is on the way, too! Have to add some extra programs and bugfix other packages!
Problem with Bluetooth Connection
Hello,
I've just flash my Neo with your Clean Green ROM. So far I love It .
I've only one Problem I can't Fix by now.
I start Bluetooth with the CommManger, go to "Einstellungen" "Neues Gerät hinzufügen"
then the Error Message "Bluetooth Hardwarefehler" shows up.
Any hint how to fix that ?

Which Radio-ROM so you use? I'm running with 2.69.21 and have suscessfully added my Diamond via BT to my Prophet!
HTC Bluetooth Explorer is sometimes a really great application!
BTW: I've added a Addon CAB in the first post for those who want WPA2/AES encryption!

No need to hard-reset after flashing!! This is optimized for all radios!
How ROM will self-configure -> AutoConfig -> Soft-Reset -> Bootup -> Load Manila for first time (DO NOT START USING THE ROM NOW LEAVE IT ALONE) -> Network Auto-Config will load and complete -> Soft-Reset -> Bootup -> Manila will load, wait 30 sec to 1 minute 30 seconds BEFORE USING THE ROM!!!

No link yet, will be released tomorrow. I am using the latest Raphael radio (1.14.25.35) and it will be directly supported within the ROM.

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to it as I am in your neck of the woods and I am really struggling with dropped calls and signal strength. I am using the 25.35 radio, but seem to drop call s much too frequently.
Ya, im using the same radio, i have dropped calls more than usual now, and i dont like it, its annoying

Hmmm maybe this is the cause of my issues as well? Thanks for the tip! I will take out that dll and the ROM will be optimized for all Radios!

well i assume you would be using manila and it covers most of the basic stuff in wm ....
so the fancy RAM hungry stuff in wm 6.5 wont be that useful (you will hardly need it)
so i chose to stick to 6.1 cause its rock solid
and moreover i love to see 120+mb free RAM at the end of the day

6.5 is mcuh much better
6.1 v. 6.5 and bug fixes....
Personally I don't think that the hardware we have available can run 6.5 efficiently, but 6.1 is very solid. This rom runs very fast and graphically is quite impressive. So far I have noticed that the keyboard won't change to AT&T/Fuze even with the keyboard selector or Advanced Config. Gonna hard reset and verify and will repost my findings. Great job and keep up the good work.
Fuze keyboard wont work
Yes... after a hard reset and with the HTC Fuze keyboard cab installation it still will not type with the Fuze/ATT keyboard with the Tachi version. I'll try the other version and see if that one works...

Keyboard issues...
Bummer... tried both versions and neither one will let me switch to the Fuze/AT&T KB. Even the many .cab files out there would not correct the problem. I Installed NRG just to be sure there wasn't a hardware fault and it works fine. This is a great project, however and I hope this KB issue gets worked out... Cheers!

This is a known bug.
The chef is working on it.
Something to do with Win6.1 i guess.

I have been using it for one entire day no bugs no crash nothing wrong
at the end of the day the ram consumption was between 36%-38%
Chef I have one request for you DONT CHANGE YOUR NEXT ROM FOR 6.5 OR EVEN LESS FOR 6.6!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! stick to the 6.1 roms they are solid rock and less ram suckers!!!!
