does anyone know how to change the theme without loosing the 3d effects ?
i tried a few themes which are visually pleasing but lose the original 6.5 3d style menu options...any ideas??
If you use old WM 6.1 themes, they will ofcourse make the layout like old good WM 6.1. Use new extended themes specially created for WM 6.5 and you will get all the effects. I have seen somewhere on this forum, some themes for WM 6.5 but dont remember exactly. And the new builds of 6.5 comes with 5-6 themes too.

Thanks helgee it worked.Great idea to make your favorite programs at your today screen with titanium. I was searching for it from the first day i saw this plugin in 6.5,
can we change the default icon to respective icons of the applications that we want to put on our today?

Working fine and battery life is same as other WM 6.1 ROMs floating around.
I specially thank Abusalza and Chartruex for bringing us the flavor of new ROMs. Also thanks goes to each and every member of XDA for contributing positively.
My connection is very slow I am uploading but it will take time so be patient.
The download is in three parts, my internet connection problem.

Third Part:http://asapload.com/123486
Place all three parts in a folder select all and use extract here with 7zip program. It will ope one file then again use that file to open with 7zip and will get the complete folder with six files in it. Place all those six files in windows/temp folder of ur C: drive then start device update utility and select all. Then flash the ROM.
Once again I will clarify that it is for testing purpose and I will not be responsible for any damage.
Also let me know how is the ROM running and what are the bugs. Thanks and enjoy.

Well the new build is the one issued by Microsoft, like with Xperia 19949 and with Diamond 19588 came. These were dumped and made available for people like us by the great modes of XDA to develop ROMs for own pdas. Now u have to select a ROM yourself and not just the newer build will be the criteria, rather your usage and software u run in ur pda will let u know which ROM is the best suited for u. Hope that answers.
Still stuck with the uploading prob.

Hey Jaime sorry, I am new to this uploading stuff . But have removed the password now, I never wanted one in any case. When u open it , it will ask for password but leave it blank and press mirrors and u will get the file.

When upgraded my Atom Exec. I found problem in Bluetooth after upgraded my
bluetooth can remote control WM Player but can not listen sound from Headset
by A2DP. I downgraded back to ATOM_EXEC_20080417A6WWE_WM6.1_19209_AKU1.0.2_8MBPP .
My Utel UT-T15S is working normally. what happening in A2DP function of your firmware or my bluetooth is not compatible.

What to do first: (Setting up ThrottleLauncher)
1. After final flash synch all you contact etc. with outlook or restore
2. set up you email acount (but only if you use email)
3. install any soft you haven't installed with UC
4. start Throttleconfig and chooses TFlo3D if not chosen then press config
5. now go to weather tab and type in you town and country
6. now go to the email tab change Acticesync to the name of your acount
7. optional in General tab choose and arange what pages to show.
8. press save then exit on the default throttle config page choses reload plugin
this can also be done later but this will get you familuare with the config app

WiFi is not working as mentioned by u, but the intallation of the files cannot be done. The OEMUtil.dll cannot be copied to the Windows root, the File exists already and its not possible to overwrite.
any suggestions to get Wifi to work ?

download the total commander and copy the files to the windows catalog.. that works wifi works here

The diamond style isnt the optimum for me.
I would prefer a more wm7 stylish one.

That will be the best thing coz then i hope one of the cabs from this forum will work on it or atleast the official cab without the messenger will run atleast.
That ways we can have hotmail access and can use IM+ or Mundu IM for MSN messenger.

Found the solution for the application unlock here : http://www.mobilejaw.com/articles/2009/01/removing-the-application-lock-on-htc-s740-smartphone/
But that doesn't solve the problem when installing the Gregory_HTCHomeN.cab installation. Still getting an installation error (translated from dutch: Installation unsuccesfull, program can't be installed or a setting can't be processed because of not the correct systemauthorisation is available)

I think both do the same thing - I couldn't remember the registry settings when I needed to do it, so went the easy way.
Does the homescreen need any separate plugins - smartmonitor for example?
The Greogry_HTCHomeN.cab is a standalone plugin, is doesn't need anythinh else.
It seems to be running on the "vox" an those type of Smartphones with WM6.0 and WM6.1 Standard Editions.
Can't find a specific reason why it will not run on my (dutch) htc-s740.

Hi. I think its because of the totally new concept of the homescreen on the WM 6.1 standard edition devices. Its different to the WM 6 edition. In my opinion, any today plugin from a WM 6 device will not run on a WM 6.1 device.
P.S. why dont you like the original homescreen HTC plugin delivered with the Rose. I think, its great and has everything from your Gregory plugin. If you like to configure the plugin on the rose, use the homescreen configurator CHome http://smartphonenutsandbolts.wordpress.com/2008/05/17/chome-configurator-for-wm-61/ Works very well on my Rose.
The gregory_htchome doesn't seem to run on my dutch S740.
Too bad, but i just doesn't work. Don't know why.
Switch back to the Standard HTC Home pugin, and play a little more with the home screen configurator.

I also have a problem installing the normal HTC Home plugin on my Dutch S740 phone. I'm a newbie so please be gentle.
It gives an error when I want to install a random version of the HTC Home Plugin. Something that the installation file isn't suitable for my device. Where can I download the correct version of the HTC Home Plugin for my dutch version?

Well I'm now working with the Gregory version you supplied and it seems to work... I'm getting better at this .
Now I have to see how to tweak this plugin. Well I will continue my search...

Thanks for the plugin, it installs fine now.
Only thing not working is the WeatherApp ?
I saw a \windows\htc folder with 2 different files, should those be copied to the \windows folder ? The \htc Files are older than the original ones.
yes yes i know that ! they are much older, but there is no way out , these are very diverent versions of the weather-app , the original for the chome and the gregory for home plugin. you have to backup the original (if you want) and overwrite the files to get an working weather on gregorys-htc-home

Great concept !!!!! keep it up.i never used point UI(the latest one).so cant comment on it.
1 suggestion : do not cook icontact with roms.u'll face problems while updating or adding a new contact from outlook.(it wont get recognized in icontact) better provide the cabs to the users separately.

I didnt got any problem about icontact while testing.
If anybody gets problem in future,I will defeneitaly Remove ICONTACT.

No.
weather widget is not included.
I think weather widget is only there in pro version.
This version is Free version. so limited features.

Regarding icontact , u can use it, but if u add, remove any outlook contacts then delete 'allcontacts.dat' from the pgm\iContact folder. then use Icontact again.

Finally more and more people are cooking ROMs . I guess this is the most happening 'product' forum in entire xda .

1. new point UI interface is awesome
2. Scrolling is smooth
3. inclusion of nitrogen over audio manager was a good move
4. rom was working at pretty normal speed
5. what i dint like is POINT UI is eye candy but usefull till certain level but gud effort
6. Email & activesync works perfect
7. As of now a gr8 work buddy i dint find ny major bugs though i used it for sm tym only!
