I recently updated my 2gb transcend sd card to a 4gb same brand
and i had no problem at all then some days ago i updated the rom to the latest one by cloudyfa
but today when i woke up i see that the my documents folder on sd card is empty ! absolutely nothing in it
windows shows that 3gb of sd card is used but inside there is only 400mb of files
and the rest which was in my documents is gone
what is the reason and can i restore the files ?

oh something i rememberd : the 2gb flash had a 4kb cluster size and this one had 32kb cluster size as default.
but i dont know which size was better so i didnt change anything. is this the reason for data loss ?

Sometimes reseting give that kind of error.
Try to unplug SD Card.
Soft reset without the card
Plug the card
Soft reset with the card

If you don´t find your lost files after that, maybe you should have to use some file recovery soft and check your SD Card...

HEY i had this sd card in my phone for less then 3 months and my phone was freezing and all that stff but finnally today i master reset my phone and when i turn it on it told me to format phone i plug it in with my computer and tried to backup everything and when i open the sd card icon on my computer it said that i have to format it so i did it and it said me that "cant format this device" so i placed sd card into my phone and i finally was formatted and now after all this thing now there is no sd card on my device :i have it in but can read while it says me to format it : anybody can help ?????????????
Had the same problem with the phone not recognizing sd card (after trying to format card). However, after updating the ROM, put the card back in, and all was back to normal. You might try a hard reset, but with the card removed.

I allready tried with another SD card and also tried my SD card in another phone.
Can anyone suggest a solution ?

Try formatting SD card in pc and then use in phone.

Try dialing *#*#7378423#*#*, go to Service tests>External Memory (if you are on ICS already - I don't recall GB having this option). It should be able to detect your microSD card as "Inserted/Mounted".

The update is not released yet for my phone.
I think returning my phone to the store is my best option right now.

Also works on Gingerbread.
I dialed that number and folowed the steps and it says "memory card status : Not inserted".
Gues it's a hardware problem then?

my wt19i wont mount any sd card i connected the phone on the pc to take some photos and in the moment he did a restart and when start i get a noftitaciton blank sd card i did factory reset hard reset , flash the firmaware but he donte mount the card i took a new card and the new card wont to mount but the old sd card work fine in another phones i dont now what is the problem plsss help meee

my wt19i is on stock GB rom, i rooted it, installed Link2SD, created partition on my sd card, linked some apps to the sd card..
and then i decided to flash my phone to stock ICS.. it succeeded though.. but my phone can't recognize the sd card anymore..
i flashed it again to stock GB, formated the sd card, but it still the same..
I have the xactly same problem. Last night I tried to flash AOS 4.4.x to my WT19i with no good. So I reflashed with last working CM (CM9.1) with 4GB flash inserted. I reflashed, set the phone up for the first time, connected with facebook and installed couple of apps (I have not moved the apps to card - all were in the internal memory). But toady in the morning, I bought a new 8GB sd card and wanted to replace it. And here the problem starts.
When I inserted the card into the phone, it said that the card could be removed. When I look into settings>storage, I see "mount sd card" option. When I click it, it goes grey for a sec and then BOOM, "mount sd card". I tried returning back my old 4GB card, but I still see the "mount sd card" option. Simply, the phone stopped reading any sd card.
Even the recovery cant read the card, which I think is a major issue - I cannoit reflash system, since I cannot access sd acrd in recovery.
Yes, every card I tried IS working - tested on other two phones and three computers.
So I think, is it a hardware issue with the card interface in the phone?

I had swapped my external sd card to be the internal and it was working very well. But I decided to format my sd card with 16g using minitool partition wizard so i will be able to use the whole space because it had a 1g partition before. Now when i tried to insert back my sd card it wont mount anymore and also i tried a different sd card but the same problem..
please help me out on this one

- oh i forgot to say that i tried reflashing it to stock it didnt solved the problem...
- i also relocked the bootloader and flashed it using SEUS but the problem persists..
- i also tried unsdfy it didnt work

Hello...my SD card was running normally on my gs3...yet this morning I had this notification "no sd card" something like that ...I couldn't enter neither to my files nor to my songs and photos....its like no sd card there !!!! How do I fix it without losing my data also when I plugging it in my laptop I cant see the sd card ever !!!!! ... pls any help?
try take out the sc card shut down the phone set it back in an start the phone
