HEllo. My friend flashed NIKI100 with unofficial ROM without makeing USPL. Now the phone is in Bootloader mode. PLease can someone give me Official rom for this phone. THe only thing i know the phone has German language in it and on the backcover it is written Touch Dual Swisscom

I can;t find the one that fits my HTC. I tried to reflash with Orignial German Rom, but it refised, INvalid Vendor ID. Which country flash file should fit my phone, please help

As I cant go back from bootloader 1.06 and Cingular 1.31 Rom without dutch Qtek rom I kindly ask You to download rom from http://www.qtek.nl/ (valid Imei needed) as my imei surprisely dosnt work and put it onto ftp.xda-developers.com

I try a few weeks ago upgrade my Spv m600 to WM6, to put gullum touch rom, but the upgrading wasn't been sucessfuly.
waht happens was i upgrade the rom without CID unlock, a check later the model was a G4, and now my phone freeze on first screen. I try change the rom like wiki explain, put a NovenderID rom, the original orange uk rom was on ftp of xda, but nothing can solve my problem!
So a open this new thread, for ask if someone have the official Orange UK rom for prophet, without that rom i can't repair my phone!

How about the PVtemp rom? same result?
please have a look in my thread ( @ my signature )
You can take a look in 4shared, and search for
PROPHET_ORANGE_UK_ROM.zip
maybe you have to put your prophet in bootloader (search XDA if you don't know how) and flash in the old way
hope you cab fix it

Yha, i try PVtemp, but when instalation was complete and phone restart, that will freeze on first screen!
I will try the original rom from orange link given by humrod.

You can use every WWE ROM around the Niki Section! I recomened at the moment Mary 0.3.3 instead of tom_codon's Niki Project v2! But when tom finished his ROM, this would be the best ROM till the next big ROM project!

Just use the search function in Forum, all you need is here answered many times...
Read stickys and use Search will solve the most problems
Unlocking SID didn't work for me using SID Unlocker. Google for unlocking Niki to get a unlocking code (you need to pay for it, and you need a SIM from another provider to enter unlocking code).
But you don't need unlocking SID for flashing any ROMs! Also the phone is unlocked (ROM, not SID!) as long you have hardspl installed. It won't be overwritten by flashing a ROM.
Niki Project didn't work for me, best I tried was Gullum's. Fast and stable and it uses Manilla
SID Unlock works fine here. Already unlockes some Nikes with the tools provided here
I have to ship to assistance and can't get original splash with rom version.

Maybe someone could send you the necassary boot screen files. You can flash them manually on your Device.

No problem at all. Except this European WWE does not allow Chinese Display fonts. Don't know why yet. I didn't come across that problem before. I asked HTC, the tech guy named Philp refused to help quoting company policy that I either to log in HTC in Europe and he knew they couldn't help. He said he will not help Dopod phone either. These turkeys own Dopod and made phone for Dopod and Dopod charged nearly double for that brand name in China. Why they draw such stupid lines among themselves I really don't know.

That board here seems mighty, but somehow most people are so used to know a lot about what can be done, that it is a bit difficult to get into it, when you are new to all that.
The first one maybe an Italian ROM for Iolite.
The Second on is WWE Europe ROM for Iolite which is what I am using for about a month now.
Connect an USB cable from your PC to the phone and run the file. It will overwrite your phone with the WWE Europe ROM.

But in general, how big is the chance that I might end up with a brick and if so, is there a way to recover it?

Normally, it either flashes or comes back with an error message and no harm done. Just don't unplug the cable while things are going on. The program will check for success and if not it will show you how to do recovery.

WWE is English ROM.
It does not matter it is Europe, Asia or U.S.A. I guess WWE stands for World Wide English. The differences I found usually in the customization especially the "Connection Setup". Each country has different service providers. For example, you will find AT&T in U.S.A. ROM. Asia one will have HongKong operator, Malaysia...
Sometimes they overlap.
Difference are minor. But they do show with different ROM version numbers.

I have German ROM on my xda Guide (lolite).
Can I replace this rom by "HTC Iolite - 1.09.401.3 - WWE (Europe)" provided by udk without HardSPL?
Can I just connect my phone via Windows Mobile Device Center and run "RUU_Iolite_HTC_Europe_1.09.401.3_Radio_Sign_12.41 .30.16_0.41.30.12_Ship.exe" ROM provided by udk without installing Hard SPL first?
Anyone tried this soulution?
