Can anyone help me arabizing my O2 xda atom life? I got it from ebay, so it came with an english windows mobile 5. I upgraded to wm6, available on the seeo2 site, and I chose the arabic version, but this did not help, guess that version was only an upgrade version.
I don't want an arabic interface. I just wanna read arabic sms, contact names...etc, plus arabic support for arabic software (quran and so on).
Of course, free is always better! But I am disperate to do it, whatever it costs..

Hi,
If you upgrade your AtomLife with the Arabic Extended ROM you should get the Arabic ROM, just need to install the Arabization Software by choosing the O2 Installer and choose the needed programs from the list.
If this is not the case, and you didn't find the Arabizatioin software in the list, Download the Arabization Software from

Last week I bought O2 Xda II (IMEI:351938003270010) from Taiwan and this product include Rom Chinese Language which is difficult for me to understand. So would any one please tell me if it is possible to change this Rom language from Chinese to English Language and if that possible how can I do that?

the language can only be changed by changing to a rom of the desidered langauge
Thanks Rudegar, and I agree with you that the best way to change language it can be by changing the rom, but I heard there was some people upgraded their O2xd II by other Language like from German or France Language to English Language.
So, I am look forward to hearing good news about this subject.

1. hack the rom replace the hardcoded text in it to text of another language
2. capture text when display'd and translate it to the other language ?
the 1. would require the hack to know all texts in the rom and possibly all programs in the extented rom aswell
2 would also have to know all the texts to have translations ready and it would require extre cpu time making the device slower
are you sure they just dident upgrade their xda to a rom with a different language ?

And I am very happy to charring me this problem, and about your qustion, last week I tried with my friend to upgraded my O2 xda II by English Language (UK) rom upgrade, but did not worked and always gave us massage Error Code 120.
Regard to a 3th party software is not free and I will try to buy it as soon as possible.
and do you Know any other free program can help for changing language instead of 3th party software and do you know some one has an experience at the same problem?
I've done that job serveral times. Just get the ROM you want, use ER2003 to modify it then install.

I am looking at getting the HTC P3450 or HTC TyTn through my provider, E-Plus, but they only provide it with Germany OS. I see on this forum I could update the ROM with English AKU 3.3, but I just wanted to ask if this would also change Outlook, IE, Excel etc. (main applications) into english?
If not, then I will have to look elsewhere for a full english version.

Thanks, but this is not that i searching, i have installed the ezinput for greek. I'm looking for the rom , original rom in Greece i can take only by Ace Hellas, but me have byed in Albania my Touch Dual with English Rom.

i know this site is the official company in Greece for the Htc Mobiles, but i can't download from this site because the imei of my phone is not registered in Greece, i have purchased my touch dual in Italy from Tim. I installed the latest rom ver. 3.14 (downloaded from T-Mobile site) as my HD2 bought in the states and is a T-Mobile version that I am using in Israel.
I downloaded FingerKeyb-2.1-WVGA.cab which is the Hebrew for the HD2.
It was installed successfully.
However when switching to the Hebrew pad, i see "empty squares" instead of Hebrew letters.
Don’t know what to do now.
Any assistance will be very much appreciated.

I have htc mozart with os version 7.10
I heard that Microsoft will push 7.8 update which will include many new languages, one of these are Arabic, so I Waited and waited and waited but nothing came !
I checked my os version and it shows 7.10 >!? what about the 7.8 with arabic language support ?!?!
I really need the Arabic keyboard, It's ok if the device language is English but I want at least a built in Arabic keyboard that I can use without the need of third party silly Arabic keyboard software !!
