Welcome to my ROM thread!
This ROM is the "3.0 series" of my ROM line, and it's designed to have the latest and greatest applications and improvements. Because of this it may not always be as stable or bugfree, as a stock ROM. However, I can assure you, it's much... MUCH faster than any stock ROM on your device.
The ROM is being continuously developed and bug fixed and there's almost daily releases. I've decided to name each release by the date when it was released. For example, 50109 would have been released on May 1st, 2009. I should also mention it's UC compatible and more info about that can be found here.
The ROM is currently based on the 21215 OS core, with all the new goodies from the newly announced Topaz device (the Diamond2).
It's got the new new Manila interface, new HTC enhanced finger menus (which can only be accessed using certain themes), new notifications system, album, FM radio and MP3 trimmer, connection setup etc.
If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utillities (after you flash the ROM) to select the proper keyboard layout to use. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout by default.
- This ROM is a Ferrari, therefore it drinks a lot of gas and burns a lot of rubber (RAM)... so be prepared to charge it more often!

Known bugs
The lock screen interferes with the HTC Dialer application. It's best not to use it for now. If you have to, you will have to deal with weird behaviour from the dialer!
If you want to use the microsoft dialer instead, open up Advanced Config under Tweaks (in the Start Menu) and disable the phone skin (first item in the Phone section). Reboot...
The names appear to overlap in the dialer when scrolling down in it. This is a known bug in all 6.5 ROMs and there's nothing we can do about it until HTC updates their dialer

What a fantastical gift for me to arrive home to after work. Great work by the way. I've been following this since 1.0 and this is my favorite rom series for the Touch Pro.

Bug Tracker:
FIXED - Cannot Select a City as TF3D World Clock local time - simply loops back to country selection after selecting a city - FIXED - simply did a soft reset after setting time zone in the standard clocks & alarms settings and it allowed me to select a city just fine.
Pandora doesn't work but still streams data - this seems to be an issue with all 6.5 roms in general sadly

FAQS:
1. Is there anyway to add uploading to YouTube or Facebook in on the 3.0?
NRGZ28: Look for an Album 2.0 or 2.5 cab with the facebook upload feature.
havoc99: For the facebook & you tube uploader, disable TF3D and SR (Need this to shut down the old album. THen instal the two cabs here. You'll get the upload functions enabled.
2. I'm trying to cook my own. I was wondering how you managed to get the lock working so well?
I like to use autolock when the screen turns off. On every other WM6.5 ROM I have tried, including my own, there is a delay before
the lock slider becomes responsive. Like, I can see it, but I can't slide it for a few seconds.
However, your ROM doesn't have this delay. Have you done something to improve it, or is it coincidence?
NRGZ28: Havent done anything special but use the lockscreen dll from 21198
3. Can somebody try turning off TF3D for a little while and see if the mail application keeps popping up on in the foreground ? I thought it was bootlauncher that kept launching it... but it's not...hmm
SHOWACO: Its a 6.5 issue, its done it on every build I've used so far. I'm sure it can be fixed, but just hasn't been tracked down yet.
NRGZ28: It seems that tmail needs the -RuninBKG background argument instead of -NoUI. Ruppy found it and he let me know about it. We'll get this incorporated in the next release as well. next release, probably tonight or tomorrow
4. Gps is amazing with this rom and latest raphael radio.
A weird bug. If I have tomtom on and somebody calls me, after I hang up It says waiting for GPs device for abot 5 secunds and the GPS does not work.

aruppenthal:Theres no way to fix that. Due to the way that agps is implemented some rege entries have to be changed. Therefore the data and phone do not work at the same time. It takes it a few seconds to resume. If the reg is set to allow multiple connections it breaks gps. I have tried to no avail.. Its something well have to live with in exchange for decent gps.
5. Is anyone experiencing their email account poping up sporadically? If so and fixed it, how.
gmgonzal:This is NOT a bug. It is a setting in several programs.
Check in activesync on your phone under menu, schedule. Set both peak and off-peak to "Manually."
Check your weather settings for autodownload. Check quickgps to see f you have autodownload on. And check your email address options to be sure they're set to manual if that's what you want.
6.I do miss a start menu so I can acess Notes or Tasks directly... here I'd have to add them to TF3D or go through several Honeycomb style menus.
gmgonzal:Tap and hold your favorite items in the menu and you can move them to the top level. Try it, you'll see what I mean.
7. I'm sure it's been discussed... but is there and app yet that allows you to add cities to the TF3D 6.5 version weather. The closed city in the db is a long way off.
zend:TRY THIS You want the Rhodium version. Works great. You can save your cities and then add them with a single step when you flash a new ROM.
8. As always, thank you for such a wonderful rom NRG. I really like the transparent toolbar on the home tab, i was wondering if its possible to have it transparent for all the tabs. After applying Showacos all tab background cab it would be really cool to have it transparent for all the tabs. Thanks again for the awesome rom!

14. Anyone have problems with subscription music services like Rhapsody? Rhapsody and WMP don't seem to recognize my phone as a subscription music device after I installed this ROM. Is it a WM6.5 problem?
NRGZ28: DRM has to be removed in the 6.5 ROMs at the moment, in order for ringtones to be able play, otherwise you get the good ol "corrupted ringtone" problem. I'd rather have ringtones and notifications than DRM'ed music
15. NRG, Any chance you could help with the text size of the lock screen. If it's a small, html like change in a file or two....a point in the right direction would be awesome. My future appointments will not show enough, otherwise I love the lock screen as is.

The reboot lasted longer than normal and the files were read-only. Keep that in mind if anybody else decides to alter these files.

16. I thought I was going crazy! Email application continued to popup every time my IMAP or POP reconnected. NRG changed it to RuninBKG as promised, but it didn't work for me
mindfrost82: My way around this issue is to make tmail.exe an exception in the Task Manager. This way once you open your SMS/Email it'll stay open in the background and it'll prevent the empty Messaging window from opening. I've had that problem with every WM6.5 ROM, but my workaround is fine with me since SMS/Email is something I ALWAYS use.

Well it is finally here!
What to expect in the new AP 4.0 Platinum? Well here is what we have done:
Base is now a x7510 rom with build 19202(adds vueflo orientation, htc's touchflo scrolling like on kaiser, video drivers etc..)
removed audio booster because didnt work with x7500 headset
removed htc task manager and made a addon
removed unused dialer images
new battery driver that shows battery % in 1% incriments instead of 10%
removed customer expirence ui
removed all ringtones except the 3 windowsmobile ones
remove autoupdate
removed catalog
remove ia zip
removed cyberon voice commander
updated all apps to be the latest(including opera, jetcet print, and googlemaps)
replaced comm mananger with latest vga htc style
added manila skins and enhancments to apps
added sdk certs
added new usb to pc with mass storage function
added teksoft fingertouch
added custom animated splash screen
added custom splashes and welcomeheads
changed opera user id to make it look like desktop ie7(cab in system to make it look like a x7510 again)
patched nk.exe to remove cert check and make sure all x7500 specific functions work(keyboard is mapped correctly, joystick works, etc..)
added proper dlls to oemdrivers so the x7500 microdrive works properly on x7510 rom
proper vga album, audio mananger(with proper vga htc skin), flashliteplayer, htc home, enlarge start menu, random access, and rss hub

Tips/Updates (by ltxda):
- Save As enhancement. Go to Settings, System, select File Dialog Changer and check "Exchange Standard File Dialog". This changes out the standard Save As window and provides an enhancement where you can choose any folder/subfolder on your device and navigate the structure when trying to save files from any source.
- WkTask enable: it is disabled by default and must be enabled from the start menu and set to start on startup(if prefered). It will place the battery bar on top like in previous bars if the setting is selected. The version is not the latest because the latest causes issues.
- wkTask: Two nice features...of course they are in the manual...to get back to Today screen from any program....click-hold the area where the X typically is and drag left. This takes you right back to the Today screen. To minimize the current app, click-hold the X area and drag down. Very useful little program that has replaced Magic Button for me. Also allows per app control. Thanks Hirad for the recommendation! Also, This resides in the area where the X typically sits to close programs, etc. Start wkTask from Programs, click and hold the "X" area and go into preferences for wkTask. Make sure it's set to autostart by going to Startup tab and clicking the corresponding button. This is a great task manager.
- FingerTouch Keyboard: By default the option is not set to to layout 1. This can be changed via the options or via the bottom left corner button.
- Today Screen: All/default plugs have been deactivated except for htc home. Just go to Settings, Personal, Today and go to the Items tab to reactivate what you want.
- Reminders: I'm annoyed by the constant reminder notifications after the initial notice. To disable this annoyance go to Settings, Personal, Sounds & Notifications, Notifications tab, select Reminders from the drop down and uncheck "Repeat". Not sure if this bothers anyone else but it really annoyed me and I've seen a couple of posts asking how to disable this.
- Vijay555's VJCandela aka Flashlight: It's been reported on other threads that prolonged activation of the flash light LED may cause it to burn out so use at your own risk. I have used it without problems. Comes in very handy. Also great for blinding your enemies before an attack! ;-p
- HTC Home customizer: the version on the forums will mess up the htc home plugin because of the new larger vga images. the addon cabs have the older version that also worked in all dpis.
- TCPMP: starts in portrait and is used in portrait but after closing with X will make the phone go back to landscape.
- Config App: A new config app can now be found in settings under system. This app is made thanx to cmonex and will allow u to do many things. If u any have suggestions including what to add please pm me.
- Touchflo: Touchflo has the scroll sounds enabled by default. this can be disabled via the system tab in settings. settings for touchflo are also found in the new config app.
- VueFlo: the sensitivity for changing orientation can be adjusted in the system tab of settings. orientation changing can be turned on and off via the config app.
- SRS Wow HD: it can be found in the system tab in settings. use this to get surround sound and to improve sound. it is mostly used for the speakers or a headset.
- Large Start Menu: i have moved the settings for the large start menu from personal to system tab in settings. u can enable or disable the large start menu from in there.
- USB to PC: a new usb to pc tool is included. it allows mass storage now and is found under the connections tab in settings.
- Opera browser: easy configuration can be done by typing opera:config into the adress bar. it already has been modded though to allow up to 50 tabs and to have a ie7 user id. a cab in program files/system will make opera have a x7510 user id again.
- Customizations: only sdautorun.exe is ran and if finds the sdconfig.txt on ur sd will execute ur settings and reset. if not will end the customizations and allow you to use the phone. the phone might need to be turned back on.
- skype, weatherpanel, igo, video playback: turn off htc home and if needed install the one in the addons. it has been found htc home causes issues with these because of it being vga size and a resource hog.
- missing icons and same welcomehead in all dpis: these are caused by realvga. tobias needs to update his realvga to fix these issues cause by the new aku1.
- vga album: it can hang sometimes. this could be also associated with htc home. if it does hang just do a soft reset. this is do to the app being vga. newer versions in the future will fix the loading issues.
- enlarge menus: the setting to turn off the enlarged menus is found in the config app. there also is a advanced button to adjust how big u want the menus. if u really want a finger friendly menu, try 1600 but dont go above it.
- apptodate: this is a interesting app we included that will once ran check for new version of the rom and config app.
- wmp in 96dpi portrait: there is a issue with it starting. the work around is to run wmp in any other mode and go to the skin selection and select the proper skin in there then coming back to this mode.(tested by going to 192 dpi and selecting the 192 dpi skin)

I just wanna put out there so evreyone knows if they dont already, that the ap team put alot of time and work into this rom and ive witnessed this through the weeks.They deserve thanks and apologizes from those that complained and *****ed to the team.I can assure you that the wait is worth it.All the hard work,cursing, and tbe occasional jokes about irus comes down to today.

hey guys does anyone know if the bugs for th 66% battery been fixed? what about the other bugs that the bets testers submitted? whats still buggy in the ap4 so far?
cant wait to flash it soon.. major reason for ap4 is the battery percentage driver and the orientation that switches automatically..
This is a copy and paste job, the thread that is most updated can be found at www.SkinZone.org. Please ask questions and do your research before flashing any ROM. This is my first public release as I have been cooking my personal ROM for a while and sharing it with the Gold Members at SkinZone.
Just another option for anyone who wants to give a try. This ROM comes preskinned and we are working on new skins daily. Manila contacts is currently the default contacts application until we get a skin finished for iContact to match the new Manila Contacts application. Sorry if I missed any info, I am off to work. I will answer any questions, but I recomend using the forum at skinzone to keep most updated. I will be adding new builds as it becomes necessary as well as bug fixes and add-on cabs can be found there.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS FOR GSM ONLY!! If you have no sim card then you are not GSM, sorry. I will not be held responsile for any damages cause to your device. Please read this tutorial on how to flash a ROM if you are not familiar. Also, HardSPL is required. I recommend radio 1.12.25.19, but ROM should work wih any Raphael radio.
New Versions are now available in 2 flavors. One with Rhodium manila working nearly 100% on update 1C and one without manila. Manila and nonmanila versions are basically identical except for manila and a few connecting apps(Weathermaster, new contact card,...). The non manila verson includes iContactBE with Snowball skin(Thanks). I will be including iContact in Manila version for future updates, but I want to make a skin to match Manila contacts first. This ROM is made as a tribute to skinners everywhere and includes skins from many individuals out there. If your skins are included and you are not mentioned here, PM me and I will definitely put it in

This ROM is based on HTC build 20771 thanks to At0Mang for the kitchen to get me started. Finally got the connection setup wizard from Rhodium working. I use XBMods version 1C with all fixes cooked in for it. I have been using it for a while and everything is working. Please let me know if you find differently. I used the keyboard from Touch HD which has arrows. This is a personal preference, so if you dont like that one let me know and I can change it for the next release. I am changing things almost daily, but will not make a new build until we have enough changes to constitute a new build. I will post a changelog and bug fixes in the following posts. Hope you enjoy.

Please post any bugs and steps you took to remedy if applicable. I will be maintaining and updating this ROM for a while and am making new builds all the time. Any suggestions are welcome, but just because you suggest something does not mean it will end up in ROM. If you have problems with downloading you may need to disable security on your PC until you get it downloaded and unzipped. Otherwise, let me know if I can help more. RaphaelCustomRUU.exe often shows as a virus and is deleted by security programs. I have also uploaded just the RaphaelCustomRUU so if you happen to lose it, you dont need to redownload the entire package.
UPDATE: 4-26-09 I have been working on a new build using 21042 as a base. It is a hybrid of sorts, using some parts from 20771 and XIP from 21042. PM me if you are interested in testing this build. I will be uploading in the next day or so. Still might have a few bugs to work out, but deffinitely worth a try. All features of current build, plus the newer notification bubbles and some little extras. Will include footprints application with Google plugin, some new shortcuts in start menu. Calender shortcut will take you straight to calendar tab, etc. Battery usage is higher than current build(hard to beat that ). And available RAM is a little lower. I am working on finding a happy medium with available RAM, battery performance, and speed. This is why I will be uploading to my FTP(graciously provided by www.SkinZone.org) a new version. It will be password protected, so if you want to try it you will have to PM or email me. You may also post a request here or at Skinzone and I will PM you with the password.

Removed HTC Album from autorotated apps, seems to load much, much faster. Added FingerSuite for message boxes. Removed a lot of stuff, if your missing something let me know if you need a cab. Chrome now skinned with grey selection(except notification manager. I'm at a loss right now). ChromeRefresher with icon to keep grey selection when changing tsk and back to HTCBlack.tsk(may not work on other .tsk but let me know). Icons for manila tweaks. Windows Media player skinned by Holdemdogg at skinzone. Updated to WeatherMaster 2.0. Updated connection setup. Got PTT mod working correct with icons, etc. thanks to NATF for the package and info. This will only revert registry entry "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Rai\:MSCONTACTS" back to original from --switchtopage Manila://people.page back to original.This was a leftover registry change from the manila build. I am cooking a new no manila build as I type this with the fix cooked in. It will also include new Footprints application with google plugin. Note: This cab is only needed if you downloaded the original Chome No Manila. Not needed for No_Manila_Update.
-Just noticed that Footprints is not showing the text in album, just a blank space, but I am working on it. This would only effect the No_Manila_Update, as this is the only version with Footprints cooked in. I will try to have a fix for next release. EDIT: Quickfix Copy the attatched HTCAlbum.exe.0409.mui to windows overwriting existing. Then soft reset.

This ROM comes with file explorer extnsion, but just in case you need it here is Total commander.
AMP will add some more functions to the music tab. I will put a link to original thread when I find it. Disable TF3D before installing. Soft reset after install. Enable TF3D. Works fine for me. Adds extra buttons that go to first song of next album, or prev album.

NSIS Error
I got an NSIS error when I tried to open it. I then re-downloaded a ROM that I've downloaded and flashed, (RRE RC2) and it worked fine. Then I tried it again and got the same NSIS error message. It says integrity check failed, or download incomplete, check with author. Any help is appreciated. It looks like a cool ROM. Thank you.

So far, so good, I been runnin the same build for a week now. I have just made some changes here and there. I swapped out some parts with couple different ROMs. Set file cache higher, and a few extra tweaks everywhere. Still a work in progress though. We're workin on some more skins to go with the chrome theme. WMP is almost done, then I want to make grayscale highlights instead of green. All in due time. But this is a good start, I listen to music all day on bluetooth and usually still have 50% at end of day with radio 1.12.25.19 and this ROM(actually a Gold Edition of this). My personal ROM has like 10 more apps cooked in too. I'll probably be hitting you up for help if somethin comes along. You get that connection setup ported yet?

Everything fine working fine here and download went fine too.
However the finger menu are not properly skinned and you can some blue bar lines on up and down arrows. Could you please fix that. Thanks.

I dont get any of that. Did you happen to grab a screen when you had it? I was looking into fingersuite. Is it possible to just use the message enhancements? Guess I could check for myself. Thanks for trying the ROM. Sure you'll be happy with it, I am not having any problems as of yet. There is a litle issue with adding the media players to the whitelist, but I'm looking into it.

Yeh, it downloaded very quickly (40 seconds Touch_Chrome_Public_RC1 RAR File 99,585KB, but when I tried to open it, it didn't go to zip wizard or whatever it's called on my laptop Windows XP I.E 8. It just gave me that NSIS error message, "Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy." I'll keep trying. I really wanna flash this ROM! Thanks for your RE:.
I got the file to open late last night using something called jzip. But then my computer told me the Raphael RUU was a trojan and deleted it, and I gave up and flashed Mystic. I'm downloading the mirror you posted, as I type this. Thanks you for your assistance.

Ok guys. I have downloaded and redownloaded. I get it every time with no issues. Your lucky its less than 100MB(barely) so here is a mirror.

Thanks. I am already working on an update that will include some new stuff like finger message box and grey selections in everything to go with chrome theme. Also, removing LongPress End key all together because I do not use it and have psShutXP on long press end key. Having some problems getting rid of green in album. hmmm.. anyway, should be an update in a few days. I'm cooking WeatherMaster in instead of install and hopefully the new edition will help you out. I get my weather working fine with a small town here. Also, if you use sashimi or UC, you should be good to go here. I cooked them both in.

Its there, just no shortcut. Not many that use it, so just go to windows and find ppt.exe and send to start menu as shortcut. I will see about including it in future release.

Sorry, at this time only will be available in WWE. There will however be a version with manila and one without for those that use SPB Mobile shell or WAD or any other home screen replacements. I am actually thinking of taking out all external language files to lighten things up more(just a thought). For now though, there are some files in there for other languages at least for the keyboard and stuff.

Thanks. New versions coming today. Manila and no manila. Some new features like finger message box, chrome refresher, and icons for more programs. Also got hold of the Rhodium connection setup and teeter with 50 levels(instead of 32). Doing some final tests now, then should be up in a little while. We have a great balance of performance:battery, and now lighter as well(more storage). If you like Chrome, your gonna love Chrome2.0. A lot of new custom skinwork, and more. Update: 5/12/09. Added new Hybrid builds. I have gotten the Notification Manager to work on 20771 FULLY. This means we have icons in a build lower than 21xxx This also means we lose the option to choose snooze time. It will be same layout as newer builds LSK=Snooze RSK=Dismiss I am trying to find the solution to having snooze options in newer builds, but need help.
The second hybrid is with snooze option but no icons. Both builds are using 20771 SYS(except OS folder) and 21042 XIP. I can post some screens tomorrow hopefully. Just wanted to get it out there to get some feedback. PLEASE NOTE: This is also for testing purposes to see how the ROM performs as a hybrid build. Report back on battery life, speed, etc. IMPORTANT: This ROM comes with TP2 keyboard, which is known to have some bugs. It is possible to use this without too many issues though. Here's a quick guide:
-When entering number fields, the keyboard stays in number mode. You must open opera and just enter the ur field to get QWERTY back. With XT8 enabled, the hardware keyboard is slightly buggy, but working. Everything works except FN. There is a trick to it. You have to hit FN, then DEL(backspace), then FN and your good to go for a while. I have included shortcuts in tweaks for enable/disable XT9. Please refrain from posting keyboard bugs, but if you really like the ROM and need another Keyboard I can put one in later.
Download: Snooze version has no icon, but Right soft key menu. Icons version has icons but no menu for snooze. I will add more info tomorrow, but I got to get to bed. The upload should be done soon.
UPDATE: 5/5/09. Added RC2 with font fix as well as added some applications.

You will find the ROM is already tweaked, fixed, setup and whatever. No need to go adding unneeded tweaks and fixes to it. Please use the ROM for a while before ading any software or additional fixes. You may just find that the things you usually do with another ROM is not necessary here. I have increased cache sizes, applied almost every tweak that will improve performance and battery, and cooked in a variety of programs. As this is an RC1 release, please leave feedback so that we can make it better.
You will find that this build does use a bit more RAM than previous Chrome ROMs. The pagepool is set higher to get the most from the device. It is not locked, and can easily be changed.

Bugs and Changelog
rc1
-Calendar text does not show double digits. This is due to the last minute addition of Helvetica 55 font. This was to fix the odd font change in USB to PC popup. I will look into the registry for a better fix, but for now the attatchd cab will replace the new font with Tahoma renamed to overwrite it. Best to disable TF3D(though not sure if it will matter) and make sure to soft reset after installing.
HYBRID CHANGELOG:

-Added shortcut in utilities for SSMaHo used for mapping TF3D to different programs.
-Added TP2 Keyboard. This has a few known bugs, but is usable. If you like the hybrid builds and want a different keyboard, let me know. This is for anyone that likes the TP2 keyboard, but doesn't want 2 SIP menus popping up. XT9 is disabled by default for hardware kb to work fully. I included shortcuts in tweaks to enable/disable XT9. With XT9 enabled, there is a trick to getting FN keys working. You have to press FN then backspace. After that, you can use FN keys without issue. If you enter a number field and can not change back to QWERTY just open Opera and enter the url field. Somehow Opera knows how to fix this.
-Updated Facebook to newest official release, Added latest release of Skyfire Browser, Added Chess game.
-PagePool set to 20MB
-New taskbar from BilboBrian changed a bit by me. Includes black folder icons, and new settings icons.

Recommended Add-Ons:
-TF3D AMP adds functionality to music tab in TF3D. This is still in development, but looks very promising. Definitely a possible cook-in when it is ready.
-Skins-Find a number of skins at www.skinzone.org. If anyone would like to reccomend a good TF3D theme, I am on the prowl for something to flow good in the Chrome ROM. I like to have a theme cooked in because it should keep from common slowdowns that come with added themes. I would like to keep my Wallpaper though, so would have to go well with that.
-Attached a new envelope for email preview. Thanks to Voltage at skinzone for the original image. I just made some changes and made it work in TF3D.
20771/21042 Mash-up ROM (Hybrid wannabe)
Ok, so for a while now I have been searching, reading, asking, etc. how can we get those nice notifications from Topaz/Rhodium on builds lower than 21xxxx. From everything I found, it was believed that you can not have the new notifications on older builds. I got a step closer here. Still dont have the nice icons on top of some of the notifications, but I am happy to have the bigger bubbles. There is an added benefit here as well, we can have the orginal left/right softkey setup which allows us to choose a snooze time I ended up swapping out some parts between kitchens and doing some blind tests to come up with this. The ROM seems to be even faster, but as stated it is a test build and could have bugs I haven't found yet. Feel free to test with me, and help get this working fully, or at least make sure it is stable.
The reason I was so interested: I got the BEST battery life and GPS, etc from the 20771 build. For example, I can listen to music through bluetooth all day at work and still have around 50-70% battery at the end of day. But with 21042 I only have about 20%. I use the 1.12.25.19 radio, and so have matching rilphone.dll in my ROMs. I also have cooked in some extra GPS registry entries, as well as enabled aGPS by default.
This ROM is just like screens above with a few added applications(listed in post1). Attatched are some screens of the working notifications.
First of all let me say thank you for cooking this ROM. Initial assessment of it is excellent for a 6.1 rom. It fast and everything seems to work pretty will. Graphics is excellent.
the onlly issue I have is the scrolling from within outlook. it either scrolls a full speed or its struggles so to scroll it opens the email your thumb is at instead of scrolling. Scrolling in File explorer is excellent and this is what the scroll should be like inside of outlook.
overall I would give this ROM a 9.95 out of 10! Good job!

Is this straight from boot? I mean were there any applications/themes installed, or any changes through settings>screen>text size or advanced config? It will help me in troubleshooting because I do not have this on any of the ROMs. I am using this same build, but with more programs cooked in(Resco Explorer, Resco Radio, CorePlayer, Pocket Artist, Pocket Player, etc.). I used the public build for about a week to test and tweak, but never came across this problem. Someone did have a font issue in the 20771 build, but we had chalked it up to 3rd party add-ons.
Anyway, if you can give me more info, hopefully I can recreate this on my own device and get you straightened out. Iwould suspect an extra font or something. Maybe one of the registry entries for font links, but I thought that manila used its own font system(fonts are actually *_manila files).
the only app that i did install was S2U2... i dont believe this should have any bearing on the font or text size. tho..
This is very interesting. I tried installing S2U2(1.62) and have no problems. Even installed a theme. Possibly you need to hard reset if you did not hard reset after flash. Or you might want to hard reset to see if that fixes your problem. Like I said, I have been using this ROM for a while, and can not recreate this issue. If your up to it, do a hard reset and let me know if you still have the larger fonts(which is what would cause the # not to show). I did remove Courier font, because it kept taking over the USB to PC popup. I fixed the issue(a missing fontlink) and here is the file if you want to try copying it to your windows folder. I dont think this will resolve your issue, but is worth a try if you dont want to do the hard reset(although now I'm curious and would like to make sure it is not like that from boot).

I will reflash my device later to check it out. Maybe anyone else using the ROM can give us some feedback to see if this is an isolated issue, or if it is in the ROM. 50+ downloads today, someone has to be using it. And unless your the only one noticing it, you would think someone would post something...
I cant do a flash right now with my battery at 48%, but will definitely do it later and let you know.

OK, fix for you in second post. I added a new font to fix a bug that sometimes the USB to PC popup would show Courier font because it called for Helvetica LT 55 Roman.ttf. Thanks for help in finding this. I will cook an update soon. Any suggestions for the next release as far as apps? And a TF3D theme that would go good with Chrome series?
Just installed the rom and it looks awesome. I'll test it all day tomorrow and come back with some feedback. I don't know if you can change this for your next release but in footprints "Favourite" is misspelled.
I guess that the spelling would depend on where you live. European english is spelled correctly, for U.S., we use different spellings(don't know why). The program originates from Europe, so thats what we get. Just be sure to grab the font fix until Iget an update. Will wait for a little more feedback to make sure things are more final.

I love your 20771 RC2 ROM very much. Fast and reliable. Running 4 days/night without a single reset. And the ROM running faster than after soft reset.. Amazing. What I do is intalling cleanRAM and let the cleanRAM schedule the cleaning every night when I sleep.

Welcome to my ROM thread!
This ROM is the "3.0" series of my ROM line, and it's designed to have the latest and greatest applications and improvements.
Because of this it may not always be as stable or bugfree, as a stock ROM. However, I can assure you, it's much... MUCH faster than any stock ROM on your device. I build my ROMs for speed, therefore this is a "performance" ROM. Battery life is not important here
The ROM is being continuously developed and bug fixed and there's almost daily releases. I've decided to name each release by the date when it was released. For example, 50109 would have been released on May 1st, 2009. I should also mention it's UC compatible and more info about that can be found here.
This ROM is currently based on the 21728 Windows Mobile 6.5 OS core, along with all the new goodies from the newly announced Topaz and Tachi devices.
It's got the new new Manila interface, new HTC enhanced finger menus, new notifications system, album, FM radio and MP3 trimmer, connection setup etc.
Starting with the 51809 release, the ROM was recreated from scratch. The result is much, much lower RAM usage and general snappiness and speed were vastly improved. Therefore I decided to rename the ROM "Phoenix" as it was 'reborn' just like the mythical bird
If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utillities (after you flash the ROM) to select the proper keyboard layout to use. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout by default.
What you will find in the downloads directories:
"Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin(Tianium)
"Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version.
"OldManila" includes the older TF3D Manila (as see on a stock ROM), plus Titanium.
"Plain" is a build without manila or titanium.

This build currently uses the RILPHONE.DLL from the latest ATT 5.11 release, along with all the 5.11 version drivers. I recommend using 1.14.25.05 for a radio, for best performance with this ROM.

Known bugs
The lock screen interferes with the HTC Dialer application. It's best not to use it for now. If you have to, you will have to deal with weird behaviour from the dialer!
If you want to use the microsoft dialer instead, open up Advanced Config under Tweaks (in the Start Menu) and disable the phone skin (first item in the Phone section). Reboot...

- If anybody wants a high resolution wallpaper for Manila for THIS ROM, download the cab below. THis will set your "default wallpaper" as the current background in Manila but.. you'll see it on ALL tabs

"A general rule if you don't see your unique problem mentioned anywhere in this thread, chances are you're the only one with the problem and YOU did something to cause it.
The random hard reset problems have been around for a while. I've never experienced them myself, but I bet it has something to do corrupted blocks in your internal flash chip. I recommend searching the forum for raphdiag.nbh and using it to format your flash storage.. then install the ROM again" NRGZ28

1) a bad flash
2) an incompatibility issue
3) a settings problem
4) a large RF source in your pants
If several people all determine that they have done XYZ and have problem ABC it may be that NGR can do something about it. Until such time, you have some troubleshooting to do. Namely;
1) Flash the stock ROM and spend a few days noting the behavior as you add your software
2) Flash an NRG ROM and use it a few days without adding software

MORE BATTERY SAVING TIPS FROM BigBadger
• There is nothing special about this ROM to make it use more power than other ROMs except that it is tweaked for performance over battery life.
• Make sure you follow all of the flashing instructions to the letter. Especially the part about hard reset.
• Backlight is set to high. You might want to change that.
• 3G is on by default. Recommendation is to turn it off when you are not surfing the internet.
• If your radio does not match your rilphone.dll you can get crazy bad battery drainage. Make sure they match. There is a separate thread for that.
• Check to see that some application is not still running in the background. Check, do not assume.
• Check to see if the screen is still on when you expect it to be off. Soft reset can fix that issue.
• Some radios work better with some carriers and locations. Asking everyone to tell you what radio to use may not give you the best answer. Be specific about your situation.
• The battery meter will not settle down and give accurate readings for a few battery cycles.
• For the first few battery charging cycles, try to charge with phone off and then allow battery to get down as low as possible before recharging.
• The GPS sucks the battery dry. If you want to keep track of yourself, consider something like GPSToday that only wakes up the GPS once in a while.

Youtube bug solved/background change When Changing Wallpaper, Take the jpg that you want your manila background to be, and rename it homebackground.img then drop it into your windows folder overwrite the existing one. Reset Tf3d. DONE. Youtube Still Works. DO NOT use the wallpaper button on the settings tab, or you will not beable to use the HTC Youtube App.
RED Screen When picking Photos If you are having an issue with Red Screen During Choosing Contacts, or Wallpaper pictures please download THIS FILE . Disable TF3D move the htcphotopicker.exe to your windows directory, restard TF3D. Done.
9. by: gjakovic Hi EnergyROM lovers, You know the problem on people tab where for contacts with multiple numbers manila will call only the default one!? Well now it is fixed I ported the code from Topaz and recompiled the embedded LUAs in manila files that caused the problem. Enjoy! Although this is a Manila problem I have decided to post my fix here to contribute to great ROM and bring it closer to perfection.
P.S. Since this is a new port please report back if you find any issues.
Instruction for noobs: Stop the manila: Start->settings->today->tab Items-> uncheck TouchFLO 3D, use Total commander to replace the files in Windows directory with the ones in attachment. If having trouble, edit the propreties of the original file and uncheck the option read only. Enable manila again.

at10ti0n: Another thing you may want to look for it the "re/Start" program. it is floating int the forum somewhere. I cleaned up my menu and it helps to re-prioritize the items in the main window. I only wish I could change the sub/sub folders. HERE
5. I'm absolutely hating new TF3D scrolling currently. The icons when u scroll, are just too low, its too near your thumb. Is there a way, perhaps a manilla file replacement, that can put it back up a lil higher, as it was in the OLD TF3D? Shep was able to do it, but shep doesnt really reply questions : / also if it helps, showaco's all tabs pictures cab, does solve it, making it higher. however, scrolling TF3D with showaco installed in landscaped is screwed, being off centre to the right any solutions?

What exactly is the PagePool_Changer.exe used for in the roms folder?
Also in your manilla theme the stocks icon pops up on the slider when it passes over the stocks item, this has been a issue in all the 2.x-3.x roms that have used your custom theme.
The only reason why I am point this out is because it doesnt fit in with the rest of your theme and someone else might perceve it as a "glitch".
Other than that I have not stumbled upon any other problems, its great rom like alwase

just letting you know that you have linked the wrong directory. you need to add the raphael folder.

They complain and BEG complain and BEG for the ROM, so he post the ROM early they complain of small bug on a Overall smoking build
He fix the bug, Post a new thread to keep the crap out of it, still they complain and re-adds the crap; then complain of needing change log ( HE SAID HE WOULD POST A NEW THREAD TO RELEASE THE ROM WITH THE FIX INCLUDED IN THE LAST THREAD) what more change log is needed?

Also in your manilla theme the stocks icon pops up on the slider when it passes over the stocks item, this has been a issue in all the 2.x-3.x roms that have used your custom theme.
The only reason why I am point this out is because it doesnt fit in with the rest of your theme and someone else might perceve it as a "glitch".
Other than that I have not stumbled upon any other problems, its great rom like alwase

Man this was a beast to get working.
Let me start by saying thank you to Ninja4Hire and Steel Reign for helping me get this rom out. This was a team effort and without them this rom would not exist. Also would like to thank nOObody and Rapid for their Sense 2.5.cab used on the i8000 side of the house. Ninja helped cooked up a newer sense version 2015, but they were the pioneers for putting sense on the Omnia II. Thank you Beta Testers as your input was invaluable.
This is a Sense 2.5 rom based mostly off the 2015 version. Yes it is intended for HTC devices, but we Omnia users could use a little lovin'.

As always this version is based off the Samsung Official Update and uses the PDA portion of DC23. What does this mean? I means you should update your phone to the Samsung Official Update for DC23 before flashing this rom. You only have to do it once, so if you already did it, you are good to go!
XDA_UC is installed in this rom so let it run through before you start tapping away. And a Soft reset after it is complete wouldn't hurt as well.
To use XDA_UC
Before you flash my rom, make a folder on your "Storage Card" called XDA_UC. Make a folder in that folder called SD. Whatever you want installed to main memory will go in XDA_UC folder. If you want to choose the install location, use the SD folder. Should be working 100%, but let me know if you have any issues.
Current Issues with phone:
- Adding favorites to Samsung dailer menu does not work. There is a fix, just search for it (Ninja even posted a pretty little cab for you guys).
- Black on Black text, this is only seen in the edit contacts portion. I'm too tired of looking for the fix, and I don't like white on black for my themes.
- Not really an issue, but some have requested the original dialer skin, as the one I skinned is difficult to read in the sunlight
If you want the original dialer skin, just unzip the dll and place it in the windows directory and overwrite.
You have to use Total Commander, or Resco File Explorer (not free).

Current Issues with Sense 2.5:
- Home Tab >Edit Home Layout" currently does not work on Omnia 2's. If you try it, it will freeze your phone. If you want to edit the layouts you will need to change some simple values in the registry. This i8000 post will help, but I will try to put together a simpler list for us.

thats a whole lotta Qs in a short span. I'll try to help:
Speed is good just a wee bit laggy at times when weather fills up the whole screen (can be turned off).
Ram/Storage, with Sense on and enabled it is about 30-50MB Ram free and Program Storage is about 180MB free on first boot.

Beautiful ROM, but she sure is a hog. I think it has to do with the GPS being on for the HTC Sense to work correctly. I am new to this so I do not know much but I do know if you turn it off your weather stops working and there doesn't seem to be a way to have it go off your zip code so the GPS can be turned off. I watched the battery drain from 100 to 75 in about 2 hours.
It also freezes a lot. I tried lowering the mhz back down to 800 that still doesn't seem to help. Had a couple calls not even come in because the ROM is so heavy and locks up on itself. I got text message complaints about not taking my calls after I wiped it out and tried the ROM again after clearing all data.
Other than that it seems pretty slick. I am not sure the purpose of the Facebook application built into sense. It showed me my status and that is it, nothing else.
Other than that it is beautiful, but I have to find a way to keep my calls coming in without checkin if the ROM is stuck doing something all the time.
This is the first I've heard of this.
Are you overclocking during this time?
The weather actually doesn't us gps, but google my location service. So if you have an internet connection, then you will get a weather location AND update.
There is a program that turns off data connection after 1-5 minutes, but I haven't found this to be a problem with my phone.
I haven't had one lock up since I've used this ROM, only when I tried to overclock it to 950-1000MHz.
I re wiped it with "delete all information" and it seems to be running okay now for the freezing issues. I would like to know how to turn off the animations and such, or at least make it so Google, or my GPS doesn't run all the time, the battery is already dead since my last post, and it used to stay for 4 or 5 days wit moderate use (that is running on high performance @800mhz). "Something" is definitely draining this device. I usually make a short cut and task manage end task everything before I lock the device and put it away. Maybe you folks could throw me some ideas.

yes I am overclocking at this time. 1000mhz. Think that is the massive battery drain? I got the lockups to stop after I "cleared all data" . I am thinking its something to do with Google location service and my GPS, but let me know me know.

The new BING if you have it installed MAY BE a issue. It seems IMHO to keep the GPS going even though you exit it.

I am really interested in helping out with these projects, especially for the i920. I have a B.A. in New Media Design, and spent 3 years doing comp-sci, and currently do web design on the side of my real job.
I would like to take part in these projects and become a cooker as well. If ya can do it on a WinVista machine
I know this is off topic or whatever, but where would I get started to get the tools I need and to figure out the structure and how to edit, pull ROMS, get CABS, test them without physically puttin them on the i920, etc?
For example, how would I pull the original Verizon i920 ROM and decipher how to remove the bloatware from it. Is there software where you can run the ROM on the computer without physically putting it on the phone to test? Just questions like that.
PM me if you think I would be of assistance, with anything, finding software, etc, updating graphics, or whatever. I am really interested in doing this.
Battery Drain
Ok, on ROM Install it is defaulted in battery mode to have the BACKLIGHT ALWAYS ON, and TURN OFF DEVICE is set to ALWAYS ON.
Think that might be the problem with the battery

Lock Screen
Running everything at normal speeds, the ROM once in a lock screen for a while, will be unable to return. Screen lights up, you see the top icons (bat, speak, signal, etc) but the keys for the lock screen will not appear and you will only see the background image that you have themed.
Just figured I'd throw that out there. Running good other than that so far.

This is because the lockscreen is using the 6.1, instead of 6.5
you will notice at the bottom there is an unlock button. Press it, then press the unlock button in the middle.
I did this so people can use their own lockscreens if they want.
Like S2U2 for example.

Ok, I would like to be able to set that up.
S2U2 will restart the device fine. When I select shutdown I believe it just goes into hibernate mode.
There's a lock button showing after you hit the windows logo on the bottom left.
If you utilize that lock option will it prevent it from crashing out? I have to keep removing my battery to get it freed.
There are 3 ways to get to the lock screen with this ROM and I have utilized both except the one at the bottom left which I think is just another link.
I have to have it password protected after 0 minutes so when I hit lock i can actually put it in its case and not worry about random calling of people.
S2U2 would pose useful if its functions did what they were suppose to

S2U2 works great, also if you are looking for auto locking consider smartlock.
it is a program that configures the default windows lockscreen for you and it shows up as a setting under system settings.

If you want to edit the registry try this:

New version is up, but lockscreen is still 6.1 by default. Forgot to put in the 6.5 reg edits, so use smartlock if you want.
